I arrived on a Tuesday afternoon with no reservation. I paid $15 to use the nude-only communal pool. No one was in them when I arrived and in the hour four others came by. There were two bathtubs, a concrete pool and a large plastic stock tub to choose from so we could all soak with space. No one spoke and it was very relaxing. Also two bathtubs that were 'cold' basically air temp. Solo-female and I felt very safe. The place is noticably clean. Bathroom and outdoor kitchen were both spotless. Property is a nudist oasis so has a hippy vibe for sure but it was beautifully maintained within this aesthetic. I soaked and watched humming birds and doves.Location is opposite a busy truck stop and sadly next to a factory chicken farm. There is a smell of chickens and LOTS of flies. I thought it was from the animals on the property before I did research. It sucks a chicken farm can open next to a hot spring. There are peacocks, a pig, cats etc on the property, all were friendly and seemed well cared for. I saw no animal 'mess' on the property, everything was very clean.Water is not hot but I found it warm enough in the sunshine to soak for the hour. The man and the lady with the parrot who work there I interacted with were nice. The pictures I have shared are all of the communal areas. Note some of the pictures you see on Google reviews are of the private soaking areas (there are four) and you will only get to access what you pay for. I was offered a private area for $20/hr. Two were empty and I was invited to look and they were very cool and felt warm.

When you arrive it might seem a little sketchy (especially with zero cars in the parking lot), but there was good signage to point us to the office/check in. We were greeted by two very nice guys, and my girl asked "where's the hottest water?" and they pointed directly to the right of the office which was the duck pond private area which I have pictured. It was absolutely gorgeous and we got lucky that the next reservation was a little over an hour from when we arrived so we took it right then. Quite beautiful, quite relaxing. And they do take cash or card.

Wonderful facility. I snowbird to PHX and this is a regular getaway. The day use area is the best($15). Plenty of space/tubs/pools. Usually don’t run into more than 5-6 people during the day. Recently stayed in a cabin on-site. It was worth it for the tub - water felt a bit warmer. Feels a touch spendy ($150/night). No qualms about the accommodations, they were great. The cabin (Motel California) is long overdue for a new (full bed size) mattress. Bring a topper. 😬Regardless, would do again.

An hour in the El Dorado Hot Springs was just what I needed after 44 Chiropractic adjustments! It was very relaxing and alleviated much of the stiffness and pain.

Ehh....First time was lovely, second time not so great. I didn't mind being in the communal area the first time the bestie and I visited back in '22. The water felt hot, and everyone around was perfectly respectful. We made our second trip yesterday.... not so great. We reserved a private tub.... the water was only mildly warm, and the smell of chicken poo was overwhelming. I figured it was just because of the chickens on the property, but read some of the other reviews noting that there is a chicken farm nearby. I'm far less inclined to return now.

Mind you, the people that run it are really nice. They had clean places to change and to shower. But these are not hot springs. They are warm.....tepid. Hot springs are from 95° - 104° to qualify as such. These were maybe pushing 90°....the warmer ones anyway. The one I was in was no more than 85°. So, it amounts to a mineral water soak. I can get that and hotter water in my bathtub.

My mom is the one who set up most of this excursion. The websites I saw were set up strange so I think it might be best to call. From my understanding, it was around $20 a person to sit in a sort of rock hot tub hot spring. Not exactly sure of prices but I believe it’s hourly. Surrounded by a fence to separate from the other tubs. Website mentioned clothing optional, but it was a family trip for us so we kept our swimsuits on. There was a bathtub next to the hot spring with cool water in it, but it had a lot of leaves in it. Pretty views of desert out the back. We went on a hot day in the middle of the summer so I couldn’t tolerate the heat really well. As a jeep girl, I loved the jeep they had with the hot springs name on it! Free range chickens.

This is one of my favorite places to heal. I have high anxiety and depression ; however when I soak here , receive the gift of relief and calmness. I can get back to my life until the depression gets to much to carry and I come back . I've been coming here since 2019. I love this hot spring it's close enough to Phx and on the way to California. The hiking in this area is also beautiful. Definitely something to add to your bucket list or even monthly stress relief practice.

I loved our experience at El dorado! The owners were so welcoming & friendly! My favorite part was meeting their little piggy! We had a reservation for Desert view & it was amazing! I loved how rustic it was. Definitely recommend!

What a wonderful gem in the desert!Scenic, rustic and oh so delightful!! The people running this are totally AMAZING! They are kind, caring and courteous. I Parked my rv for a day, it came with unlimited hot spring time. The water is not boiling hot like some, not sure what the temperature is, but it is just perfect for long soaks. By the time your hour is up, your plenty hot.I highly recommend this little jewel. Day and night it is a wonderful way to soak and enjoy the great out of doors! All you need is a robe, towel and footwear ( flip flops, etc.) Complimentary soap, shampoo and conditioner are at every shower. They have a communal area as well as private areas - the private areas should be reserved as they are popular. Come, soak, enjoy a peaceful retreat in the desert, you'll be glad you did!

I adore this place. I have been there 4 times, whenever on the 10W will make a stop and catch some healing waters. The place is relaxed and the people running it very friendly, the area is full of birds, is really an oasis in the desert!

A wonderful short trip out of the city to soak. Friendly humans, random animals to see, weird stuff to exsplore around the property and cozy camping that has a private feel.

Amazing hot springs located right outside Phoenix! Matt was awesome and the first time I called to make reservations he called right back to assure I would have a camp spot! Camping super sweet and give the opportunity to soak over night as well as the morning hours before it opens to the public for day use! Star gazing is great and hummingbirds and doves visit the flowers and trees around the springs! Rustic and lots of love! The tubs are cleaned EVERY morning!! Water is great healing quality with lots of good minerals to soak in. Was so good I had to go back!!! Matt and the crew are really great and make you feel at home! I highly recommend and will be back for sure!!!

Best water I’ve ever soaked in and great deal on camping. Beautiful gardens and grounds and art great vibe and awesome people. Can’t wait to be back! Many people to to relax and be quiet but it can be rowdy on weekend nights. Best to go early in the morning if you like peace and quiet.

Last minute plans for my birthday took me to El Dorado Hot Springs. The place is easy to find and we got lucky enough to reserve The Duck Pond. This is their private spring and enjoyed the morning soaking away. The other area is the public nude area. Will try that another day. Thank you for this experience.

We are taking long circuitous route camping trip across the country while exploring different Hot Springs along the way. El Dorado popped up on our search, the reviews we read had us cautiously optimistic. We called, asked questions and decided that one night couldn’t hurt, that was three days ago. We are still here and couldn’t be happier, our camping spot is private, the bathrooms are brand new and sparkling clean. The communal soaking area is nude only and very comfortable with single tubs as well as communal tubs. There are private soaking tubs available for those who are more modest or want to include the entire family. We feel very at home and safe among everyone we’ve encountered here. The visitors are kind, friendly and respectful of personal space. Most everyone we’ve encountered here are repeat visitors with unique stories of how they “stumbled upon” this place and continue to return. Yes, there are a few chickens, beautiful peacocks and a very chilled out pig. The owner couldn’t be more accommodating despite some of the comments I read. Perhaps those people had expectations of a well managed “Hot Spring spa” with fluffy robes and slippers. This is NOT that place, El Dorado Hot Springs is a quirky spot in an odd location right off the highway, right near a truck stop and road side taco stands. ( You can’t change the location of the water) If you’re and open minded traveler with a passion for relaxing waters and a good vibe, check this place out. If this doesn’t sound like you, maybe skip it, but I assure you a few hours in the lithium heavy waters and the good vibes will turn you into a repeat visitor or a resident. We had a great experience and we will return. This Hot Spring is not for Divas or high maintenance people and we feel it is intended that way and appreciate that.

Holy flies Batman! There were swarms and swarms of flies, they were inescapable. The pictures look way better than in person. I wanted to like this place and I gave it a fair chance but I think there are a lot of improvements to be made. The host, however, was delightful!

Very beautiful spot to enjoy the natural hot springs. The owner has it set up very nice. Water is very clean and enjoyable. Wish the water had been a little warmer. I was expecting it to be warmer but after enjoying the hotsprings for about an hour plus, it gets to a point where you can sit out for a second to cool down. We enjoyed a private area. There didn’t seem to be too many other people at the time so could of very likely enjoyed the public area to ourselves. Something I might consider next time!

This place is so cute. Imagine a hippy hot springs with semi private tubs. With a cacophony of aviary wildlife, and a pig. The cabin we stayed in was clean and comfortable.Bring your own pillow and some battery power candles if you are staying in the motel California. It is also really close to a large egg farm so bring some incense if the wind is blowing the wrong way.Anyway it’s fun little getaway.

Very clean Boho style hot springs. The public area is Nude only. There are other private tubs that you can rent as well. We camped outside and had electric hookups. We, also, had full access to the tubs 24 hours a day. People there are very kind. Great place to have a soak.
