I needed to replace 2 AC units (one was 23 years old and the other 13 years old). I contacted and received bids from at least 6 reputable companies. I needed a 3 ton and 4 ton unit and the prices were all in the same range. A friend then recommended I contact Roger Cox. He came out for a consultation along with one of his technicians. The tech checked out the heating units in the attic. Roger walked me through various options and gave me his recommendation. He came across as genuinely honest and caring. His overall pricing, service, and warranty package beat his compeition significantly. A week later both AC units were installed and are running great. The heating modifications in the attic were all completed by a crew of 4 technicians. I am more than 100% satisfied and know that Roger Cox will always be the AC company I call and recommend to others. Absolutely outstanding!

I have never done this before, but this company is absolutely amazing. My grandma had received a quote from one of the big name companies and they tried to rip her off. A neighbor recommended Roger Cox AC and Heating and they were out there the same day. The price they gave her was half the price of the other place and it was THE EXACT SAME AC SYSTEM! Roger Cox has earned my business and more than that trust for all future AC needs. Over the last 2.5 years I have been the unfortunate recipient of less than competent AC work from a very large AC company as they held the warranty for my new home.Well, my AC went out again for the 3rd time in just over 2 years and they couldn't get to my home for at least 2 days. Well at 114 degrees outside that was unacceptable. I got a referral for Roger Cox and they were at my home in less than 3 hours. The tech was professional and knowledgeable. What a bummer, we loved this company through our home warranty. We specifically requested this company based off our first experience to service our AC units, they came out and did an assessment, called our HW company and closed the ticket while the work wasn’t completed at 100%. After speaking with our HW company, Roger Cox closed the ticket because they wanted another service fee and they won’t take our call either. BEWARE of this company.

Excellent service. Parker and Sons told me it would cost me over $5000 to replace a bad reversing valve. Rodger himself came out, diagnosed the problem, deduced that it was not the reversing valve, and it was because the last person who came out here mis-wired the unit causing an electrical short. This business was the fifth repair business sent to us by our home warranty company and they were the only ones who got the job done and helped us get a new gas pack unit installed. The home warranty company kept trying to find someone to fix the old unit and Roger Cox's team said the unit was beyond repair and condemned it due to possible carbon monoxide danger once we turned the heat on. They were understanding of our problems in the AZ heat and with the home warranty company. They worked hard to make sure our old unit was removed and replaced with a new, safe unit. They kept us up to date on the arrival of the new unit, were here on time the day of the install and even sent out the owner when there was a slight problem with the breaker. I would recommend them to anyone that needs repair or replacement!6/29/2022 This afternoon we noticed our AC was not running. Because we had a warranty with Roger Cox AC & Heating we called them. Brian was at our house within 45 minutes. He told us the unit wasn't getting power and that the problem was with the breaker tripping. He got it running again, but within a half hour it quit. My husband called and although they were closing Roger himself and Brian returned to our house and replaced the breaker! This is service above and beyond what is the norm. We are cool again and know that if we ever need AC or heating help we will be calling Roger Cox AC & Heating. Roger replaced my aging AC and heating system with a new one. You don't see too many businesses like his these days. From start to finish he and his crew communicated well, showed up on time, finished the job very quickly, were very clean and, most importantly, his price was MUCH lower than any competition. He even fixed some wiring issues that have been there since the house was built to ensure everything was correctly done. I actually have to set my thermostat lower now because the system works so well. We couldn't be happier. We bought a “supposedly” a new AC unit for our restaurant ,we installed 2.5 tons bigger unit because they said that will be better and here we have ben having trouble consistently and we are still under warranty and they are very hard to get to come here.Today is only 92 outside and inside is 81 , what about when it hits over 100 .I have ben trying to get themTo come to the restaurant for almost a month now.I would keep my review updated , because I really don’t like to give bad reviews but also don’t want to get treated like this.Update: i wish i knew i have to leave a review to get a call back and be told that only the owner who has be in “vacation“ fo a month is able to work on that kind of AC-units, what about the install!Hope he shows up Wednesdays like he says and doesn’t give me excuses about oven or anything else but just make the AC work please.Service: Install AC

Upon meeting Mr Roger Cox, I found him to be a wonderful man with knowledge and professionalism. I loved his humor.We have two units and they were getting old. One was gone, the other on it's way but still working. Roger is the owner of this company and gave us a deal that we couldn't pass up. He was cheaper than all the rest. In addition, allowed us to pay without interest. He made a gentleman's agreement with my husband without paperwork and told him that if he didn't have the money on time he could pay when he got it. He did the job and went over and above what was expected within one day and we were so please with the work. Everyone working with him were polite, I heard no foul language and they were perfect gentlemen.Wow, I would recommend Roger Cox for all who need an excellent job done fast and perfect. It is six months later and I'm problem free.

Roger Cox installed my unit 4 years and 9 months ago and I was happy with the work and he did finance me with no interest so I was very grateful. Unfortunately, the unit stopped running so I gave him a call. He came to my home and first of all told me it was the compressor. I wondered how he could know that since he didn't go out and look at it. All he did was look at the thermostat and cut some wires. So I said I wanted to get a second opinion and he said, "They're going to tell you the same exact thing I just told you." Then he changed his mind and said, "It's not the compressor, it's the capacitor." Again, I had a difficult time accepting that because he never even looked at the unit! So I got two other diagnostics with reputable companies and guess what? It wasn't the compressor OR the capacitor. It was a leak in a coil, it was leaking refrigerant. Ugh.I give him 2 stars because he did finance me without interest almost 5 years ago but I would not do business with him again after his faulty diagnostic.

Our AC went out on Monday so we called Roger Cox AC & Heating and they came out Tuesday. All we needed was a recharge of the coolant. When the technician was refilling the coolant, he blew the fuse box, causing it to ark and melt things, making the AC no longer functional. He admitted guilt and said that they would replace the unit. After he called his boss, he said that not only was what happened our fault, but we would also have to pay for a new unit. The tech clearly admitted it was his fault yet we are out $1000+ and went 2 days without AC in 100+ weather with multiple dogs in the household. I do not recommend this company to anybody.

This company was referred to me by my home warranty company. The day of our scheduled service call no one showed up. Apparently the driver got lost in the desert and they couldn't find him for hours. The next day they sent the technician out again and he said the truck was still somewhere out in the desert and needed to be towed. Apparently the secretary didn't bother to give him the right directions that I had called in THREE times.The technician said our air handler needed to be replaced and could not be fixed. They would reach out to us when the part came in.Today I received a claim denial from my home warranty company and they denied the claim because they said they don't cover cleaning. I immediately called Roger Cox AC and they said there was a mistake; they never told the warranty company it needed to be cleaned--that the air handler had to be replaced. I said well if it was a matter of cleaning, I would gladly pay them to do it.Then came to bombshell. Even if it was approved they had already decided they would not come back t to our house because we were too far away and of what happened the first time with the truck. So they took my $60 anyway?I now have to file an appeal with the home warranty company.DO NOT USE THIS COM. TY!!!

This company was selected by my house warranty. Roger contacted me and left a message the day prior. He seemed very friendly and professional over the phone. However, the company's secretary was anything but professional. She indicated the day prior I would receive a call to let me know of when the technician would be there. I called and asked approximate time they would be there as I had not received a message or a call. She stated the technician allegedly called me; I had no missed call or voicemail. She reported the technician had already gone and no one was home. We stated we weren't home, due to the AC not working and were expecting a phone call. She seemed dismissive and at one point argumentative about our concerns. This company may have great reviews for their service by their technician, nonetheless their customer Services and concerns for their clients is unacceptable, improper, and negligent.
