We had a fiberglass tub shower combo replaced with their Jacuzzi products for a walk in shower and we love it. So nice and clean, looks like tile. All the hardware is beautiful, the glass door really finishes it off. The crew, while young, did an excellent job of installation, explaining the process and what to expect and how to use the hardware. The crew went over the warranty and cleaned up after they finished. Highly recommend using Community Builders. I will be calling them again for other needs. Before and after pics below.Service: Bathtub replacement

Gutters with guards installed September 2021. Ice damaged gutters, pulling out most of the guards when the first ice slid off the roof. Looking closer at the remaining guards, it looks like they were installed incorrectly causing a lip that caught the ice. Over a dozen contact attempts and 18 months later, I have not seen a truck, nor had a single returned call. When I have been able to reach someone, I am referred to the service department. When I actually speak to someone in the service department, I am told that someone will contact within 2 weeks to schedule service, not one callback.

I love the product and the service, the tech was phenomenal. The only issue is with the sign in the yard. When setting up the appointment, I was told after the job was done and I allowed them to put a sign in the yard, I would get $500 gift card for the signage. Now I am told that the sign has to remain for 6 months. I would have had no problem with that, if had been told that up front. That is totally understandable. I could be wrong, but I seriously doubt they drive by my yard for the next six months checking on that sign. I don’t like being mislead or played. It would have been a 5 star review if not for that. I wanted to give an one star review, but that wouldn’t be fair to the other people involved. I have asked for a copy of that policy to be mailed to me.I can’t say enough good things about the guy who installed the shower.Service: Shower refinishing

I currently haven’t yet used this business for any improvements at this time. However, I know one of their salesmen (Jay) personally and he is an honest and trustworthy individual. If I was getting any work done to my home, I would certainly trust that he would provide me with excellent service and care.

Community did a shower renovation for me some time back. Though it took awhile to get the product in get the shower installed it hàs been agreat convenience. I have a good friend Jay Pearce who has recently started working for the company. Jay is a sound dependable man, and will be a big plus to the sales force in this business. I know Jay to be a hard worker, honest, and a man of his word. Jay is a Christian man with sound conviction. He will give you his best because HIS best was given for Jay.Service: Shower refinishing

Community Builders Inc. were very good about communicating with us with the status of our order as we waited on each item to be delivered that was needed for our installation for our walk in shower. The installation went exactly as they said it would and the clean up was stellar. Edited 8/19/2022 to add: Tried to call them as per the request in their reply to "give them another chance". Did not answer the phone either time but left a message on the second call. It has now been 3 days with no return call so it seems obvious that they are not interested in our business. Still DISAPPOINTED!Original review 8/14/2022:Tried to get a quote to start a window replacement job and scheduled an appointment on Friday. They call the next Monday to confirm the appointment and had it in their system for the wrong day. I told the guy on the phone about it being the wrong day and he said he would get it fixed and see us at the correct time. My husband waited well after the appointment time for them and no one showed up. He called and they said we canceled our appointment; which we had not done. Very disappointed in how unprofessional and disorganized they were. I had high hopes considering the other reviews I had read.

Community builders have a new general manager his name is Brent I want to tell you we had the experience from H.. but like superman he came in and save the day not only they fix the problem they we're so concerned with my mother's health they put her in a nice motel for 2 days while he painted he concerned about her breathing the paint fumes also he totally upgraded her bathroom making it what she'll be able to use it for years to come putting handicap bars in it a personal handicap shower head that is phenomenal I say all of this to say even if they make a mistake they stand behind their warranties $110%. Horrible experience with this company. They like to place blame on the bad crew they hired for messing up my roof. They should be placing blame on themselves they picked that crew. Bad installation, they cut the metal panels too short, valleys are too wide, they did not install water or ice shield in the valley's, and they over tightened the screws. I have multiple rooms with water damage. I have mold in one room from water leaking down the wall thanks to the roof. My roof leaked after the first storm and they so called fixed it multiple times. The last time their guy came and filled a spot with caulk. Like that would do it. Now they want to charge me $175 an hour because we past their 5 yr warranty on their bad quality workmanship. Now I need to replace all screws, fix the valley's and have panels replaced. My red roof that should not have faded and is already chalking. Disgusted I need to pay to fix this or replace it all together.Service: Roof installation

If I could give them a zero, I would. We contacted them for a tub/shower conversion to a larger walk-in shower. Given a price of $9,900. Once I said ok, they tried to up the price another $1,000, which rubbed me the wrong way. Sales man (Steven Caldwell) said he would have to talk to his boss, to see if they could waive that extra $1K. In a phone call that same day, I told them I want to drop the contract. I do not like the bait and switch method of business. I also wrote a letter and mailed a written cancellation, asking for my $100 deposit refunded.Today I got a call, saying I could be held liable for the full costs, although I cancelled the contract, both verbally and in writing. If that comes to pass, we will go to court.If you want this kind of service, I suggest getting a reliable local company for your needs. These guys have the distinct odor of flim-flam operators.
