I have been extremely disappointed, even upset, with State Farm Mark Grey in Monticello, AR. After filing a claim in January 2023 for roof damages due to bad weather, the agency used every deceptive practice to deny the claim , after 5 months of struggling and frustration! The agency unfairly claimed that they found a plastic bottle clogging up the drainage; therefore, causing the roof to collapse. The truth is that bad weather was responsible for the roof damage, not the plastic bottle. Despite all of that, I was extremely cooperative in providing the agency with all the proper documentation and pictures needed to finalize the claim. I have been consulting with an attorney to convince the agency to reconsider their horrible decision. If State Farm refuses to reconsider that unfair decision, I will be forced to seek legal action against the agency. In the meantime, I would strongly discourage anyone who might be thinking about buying any policy from this agent. One last note, during the entire saga, I was patiently acting in good faith, considering that one of their workers, Michelle, was very unprofessional and rude during the entire process. What kept me going is the fact that Lauren was doing her best to help me navigate through this painful and stressful process. I truly commend Lauren for being so helpful and professional doing her job.
