Late fall I called Tom to get an estimate to restain our house. He showed up within a couple of days and gave me a same day estimate. I even gave him my idea of what color I was shooting for and he knew just how to get me that color. Price was reasonable and a few weeks later I paid my deposit. Fast forward to now. Weather has been consistently warmer and Tom let me know they would come powerwash, then stain. His guys were awesome. They were personable and friendly and hard working. They even allowed me to do a walk around to be sure they touched up anything I may have noticed before they left. Three days and the job was done. Absolutely amazed at how beautiful the house looks! For the past 47 years, we have always DIY any home painting and necessary minor repairs. This time, due to age and health, we decided to see about having the indoor painting and repairs completed professionally. Best decision we've made in a long time. Tom, owner, gave us a great estimate and answered all of our questions. We are very pleased with the results. The crew was friendly and professional, the work was completed most efficiently and after a couple of days they returned to fix any issues of which there were only three very minor items that had to be addressed. Since this is the first time we've ever outsourced the painting our residence, I didn't really know what to expect. Hired Mountain Home Painting and Remodeling to extend an existing roof over my back deck. Several other construction companies backed away from the the project due to the fact it was a post and beam look and in included non traditional building materials such as recycled barn tin and western cedar beams. They wanted to build It their way instead of what I wanted. Tom was the guy that took on the project and built what I envisioned. I can’t speak highly enough about his carpenter Mark. I worked in the building trades when I was a young man and with many carpenters I was impressed with his skill level and attention to detail, not to mention his work ethic . Not to many like him around anymore. Tom sent Shane out to lay LVT flooring, install crown moulding in kitchen, and to complete installation of four windows that another local contractor, Custom Glass and Mirror, failed to complete. The entire job was beautifully, and timely completed. Shane is a complete professional in his work and communication skills. I am thrilled with the job. Tom’s company has completed two jobs for me now and because of the quality of the work performed I just hired him to jack and level my home. We had several things painted at our home. Living room painted, wallpaper removed in a bathroom then painted, patio door, large garage doors, and garage service door. Also replaced some trim around the garage door that had deteriorated and caulked the windows and dooors. The crew showed up when they were supposed to and if there was a delay, I received a phone call. They matched the exterior color perfectly to what was on the shutters. Very professional from the initial estimate to the follow up call when the job was finished. I would recommend their services, and if I need more of this type of work, I would hire them again. Joke of a company. The owner is practically a slave driver, treats his employees awfully (seen this first hand), and overall price gouges every client he obtains. You can get just as high quality work done for 1/3 of the price.Perfect example of someone that let money and greed take over their mindset.100% do not recommend.
