We decided to upgrade from shingles to metal roof. They did an excellent job with everything. Fast estimate, explanation of the work, installation and clean up after all the work was done. The work was completed in a timely matter and quickly resolved any issues. Roofing guys were great. They stayed until late working on our roof. They definitely honor their business promise "Roof done right"!

Great experience. Jared responded to my cry for help promptly came out the first time I called. I have an older metal roof and needed someone to listen to my questions and address them clearly and honestly. He did both. He has given me hope not a runaround. Being an "older" person I want to stay in my home a few more years and keep it maintained, and a good roof is high priority. I've had many roof replaced over the years and multiple addresses using Southern Construction and they can't be beat. There quality of work is amazing, they clean up after job is complete and you never knew they we're there. The guys we're very nice and answered any questions I had. Our roof was at its end of life. We had a complete tear off, new decking, chimney flashing, removal of turbine vents ,etc. They covered shrubs ,flower beds, removed items away from house to keep from damaging and put everything back once job was done. Cleaned up all debris and went around entire house picked up nails and left the property as clean as it was before they started. The crew started working on arrival and didnt stop until job completed. I'm very satisfied with their service & Colby's estimate is what we paid no unexpected price changes. Roof looks amazing. I highly recommend anyone that needs a roof to contact them. Thank you Colby and the crew. 👍👍👍

Employees were great, owner not so much. His employee recommended that we have the fascia done as well. Verified prices and paid at the same time that we made the final payment for the roof. After 3 months of no contact, the owner now says that we never paid for the fascia and refuses to refund the money

Beware of Southern Construction LLC, roofing contractor.They did NOT give me a choice of shingles on my house.They dropped a bundle of shingles on the roof vent from my over the stove microwave crushing the vent and cause my microwave to make terrible noise when I use the microwave vent. I complained but did no good. They did not clean up carefully so I got 2 flat tires from roofing nails left in my driveway.one comment they made was: "some labor from Mexico was cheep but there were HUNGRY people from other countries that were cheeper"Martin Oreschnigg

Incredibly poor management, hires felons and unskilled laborers without any skilled supervision. Job took twice as long as estimated. Roof looks horrible and leaks. No fit and finish. Damaged house in process, and constantly left site trashed.

Southern Construction did a great job installing our new roof. They were very informative with our roof inspection and told us exactly needed to be done the right way with no short cuts. Communication was great as we worked with our insurance to get our claim check and even went as far as to adjust their price as best as they could with the cost of repair the insurance had quoted. When everything was ready to go they were quick and professional with installation and cleaned up the area better than it was originally. I was out of town the two days they worked on the roof and the photo of the actual house is what I came home to. I was horrified! It looked nothing like the sample that we looked at and chose(see sample and an online photo of it on a roof). On the up side the job is well done and the cleanup immaculate and efficient and guaranteed for 30 years. Unfortunately, every time I look up at the roof I want to cry. It actually looks more dark brown when the sun gets brighter, the one color I was very specific about that I wanted to avoid. So for professional workmanship I give them a 5 star, just be real sure that what is being laid on your roof looks like the sample you saw because you will be looking at it a long time..Service: Roof installation

I’m jumping on here after trying to be civil and reasonable for 2.5 years. Yes 2.5 years, I have been dealing with a leaking roof on my home. 2022 my wife and I moved to this area and after buying our home we found it needed a roof. After a few bids we went with southern Construction. What a terrible mistake. Almost 20,000 dollars for the new roof but Jared the owner convinced me they would get it done right. Well for anyone who doesn’t know, Jared the owner doesn’t go to job sites or check quality afterwards. Three years my roof still leaks and they can’t answer the phone. We had new roof as original was staring to leak. Fair price, new underlayment, replaced vents, roof flashings and new drip edge. They were very professional and removed the old roofing materials, did a great job in policing debris, including one employee that used a magnet and swept for stray nails. Jared & his team did an amazing job. We had a roof installed by an individual that thought they knew what they were doing, who was a subcontractor of the now defunct Willow Homes. Needless to say when Southern Construction tore shingles off, they found a portion of the roof that had existing shingles never torn off, various places of rotten wood. In addition , the subcontractor short stacked the shingles which led to leaks and the 2yr old shingles to curl up and to cup, not to mention no new flashing installed. had my roof replaced in 2019 by a different company and they completely destroyed my roof. after 3 years loosing money due to crooks coming out to try and " fix it " I heard about southern construction. Great experience. Shingle roof needed replaced. Jared was quick to respond and gave an evaluation and showed us all the problem areas and issues. We decided to hire southern construction and they were beyond prompt and professional. They showed up in the morning and were done that day. After the tear off, there was way more damage than anticipated and decking needed replaced. Jared was fair with the adjustment for the additional materials required and barely went over the quote of the shingle replacement even though they had to do more work and buy decking (not cheap). I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Crew was professional. They cleaned up afterwards to a point you’d hardly know they had been there except the new beautiful roof. Jared and his crew are amazing. Jared was very prompt in returning my phone call. He was quick to come to place a bid. The bid was given one week and I had a new roof the next week.The crew were amazingly fast, did good work and were courteous. They did a super cleanup.
