Good selection of items.... even carry Alturas-specific clothing in the back corner by the pharmacy like hats and high school braves purple mascot clothing .... changes every so often with good Alturas apparel!Pharmacy staff is attentiveCashiers and stockers are very helpfulSome leaky roof going on in the building but they're on it!Overall clean

The pharmacy manager is amazing. He's always helpful, even coming out of the pharmacy to help with otc products. You can't find a better manager. Rite Aid isn't a easy company to work for. I worked in pharmacy for twenty years, Rite Aid racks the worst

The pharmacy is always backed up. Keep in mind they do have a lot of clientele. I do love going here for sales and Christmas decor and holiday and seasonal items. Pricing is reasonable. Friendly staff.very well lit inside. You can see it right off the main road so it is easy to find and have a big parking lot as well.

It is a Rite-Aid, just like all the other Rite-Aids, the staff is super nice and very knowledgeable, the prices are decent. It is the biggest pharmacy in Alturas, but I he kicker for me is that the fact that you can still get "Thrifty" ice cream like we used to get back in the 60s

Just so folks are aware, the Rite Aid in Alturas will not fill narcotic prescriptions sent from Oregon. When I called Sky Lakes to ask why they sent us home to get the prescription filled here when it's not possible, they said the Alturas Rite Aid chooses not to, though it's perfectly legal, per California.Aside from that, I really like this Rite Aid, and feel it's an asset to the community. The workers are very helpful and they have some really good deals. Our family comes here for a fun ice-cream treat, when we want to do something special.

Happened upon this place while driving up to Surprise Valley. Stopped in for a double dip of Thirfty ice cream & some butter. Was helped out by a very nice lady named Vilma, she was so personable & genuine, gave us a few samples then dished us some ice cream. She was such a delight to interact with. Rite Aid in Alturas, California is a real Gem along with a shining Diamond named Vilma your smile & demeanor was the highlight of my day.

After today, I’m going to be switching pharmacies. Tired of sitting and waiting because they decide to ignore the window and help people who continue to walk up inside. Since they only have one person apparently actually available. Sat there for close to 15 minutes as I watched her get customer after customer inside and completely ignore me. I had even pressed the call button twice.

Marcie who works in the pharmacy is absolutely fantastic. Excellent customer service who is always willing to go the extra mile. The store as a whole is good but Marcie makes it that much better and for me makes the experience excellent.

Call in prescription at 10 am. Automated system says it will be ready at 12:30. Arrive at 12:45 to pick it up. Employee behind the counter tells you another 45 minutes. Leave and come back an hour later. Employee says it's still not ready and to come back in 20 minutes. Wander the store for 20 minutes, and finally your script is ready. Something like this can be expected almost every time, so plan accordingly.

Very clean store and always stocked. Staff is always very friendly. The pharmacy is quick at filling prescriptions. The store is over priced but that's all RiteAids Nationwide.

Needed passport photos right away & a really nice man (didn't get his name) stopped what he was doing to take our photos immediately and about 8 - 10 minutes later he found us in the store & delivered them to us! That's what I call service!!!

The pharmacy in alturas ca use to be amazing now they like to play games with perscriptions by saying yes it will be done this day then change to following day its ridiculous unfortunately no choices here. Other then that there ehh ok
