I reached out to Window World to replace our back windows in the den. Everything was going great and I had no issues with waiting the additional time. We were quoted 2-3 months of lead time by our sales rep, Shawn Smith, it took a little over 4. Not a big deal.During our wait, the sales rep measured the windows and someone else came out to remeasure to ensure accuracy.Once the install date came, that's when everything went south. Three of the five windows ordered were way too small for the frames. They measured to the frame of the old windows instead of measuring to the walls. I've been living with three smaller windows for about a month and a half. I've spoken to multiple people in customer service, but I am always given Eli's name. I've spoken to Eli twice and now there is no response from him. I've contacted his direct number and left messages multiple times with no call back. Eli called back once and asked if we cut the windows to widen them prior to install. Why would I cut my own windows? The installers removed the old windows (in tact) and installed the new windows. They need to accept the fact that they measured incorrectly.On the two windows that were measured correctly, the installers cut the bottom half of the outside frame as opposed to cutting the bottom half of the window sill as instructed.This has been a horrible experience all around and I cannot seem to have anyone take ownership of this situation. I've been living with three windows that are smaller than they should be and it looks like I'll be footed with the bill to fix the window sills as well. I will be contacting lawyers and my credit card company to review my options.Service: Window installation

We had purchased windows and patio door from Window World back in 2014. The patio door got cracked for some unknown reasons so we called the company. They sent people to replace the entire left side of the patio door. Then we also purchased another 2 windows from them this year. It took a while but i can understand because of the pandemic. I have contacted Anthony G. of Window World in Orange County regarding unacceptable conditions of the Custom Exterior Wraps around my new windows several times (8/31/2020, 9/14/2020 and 3/18/2021). He came out on August 25, 2020 to take another order of new windows and taken photos of the Custom Exterior Wraps to send to his General Manager. Never heard from Window World about the wraps. I texted Anthony again on 3/18/2021 and his response "Good morning Ms MarshallAs soon as you sent me the pictures I sent them to my General Manager. I also called her and put it in the notes of your second project. I was told they would be replaced at your second install. I am going to speak with my Managers to see what happened." Still no response.

We have been dealing with window world for over a year and have never experienced such poor customer service. We ordered new windows and front door for our small unit last year, we understood it would take 12 to 14 weeks but it took additional weeks on top of that, with no communication, and our windows were the only thing that came. Then we waited another 3 months for our door to come in and they ordered the wrong one. So now we are being punished for them ordering the wrong thing and waiting who knows how long to get the correct order. And on top of that we would call all the time with no response for weeks and no way to get hold of someone who could help. And now for the real kicker they billed us for a product they haven't finished yet and aren't doing anything about it. So for the year of struggle with this company we are stuck with lack luster windows that have gaps in them that let bugs in and the wrong door for who knows how long.Services: General door installation, Window installation

Not having the best experience with this company. The windows themselves are Ok. The seems are very rough and unfinished looking. the weather stripping on a couple is off and can't get it back in place. Installed a window with a broken lock and another with a torn screen.Took 4 to 5 calls to get anyone to call back and take care of these problems.Installed late January and 3 months later found a window with a large crack on the inside. Again it has taken 2 weeks and 4 calls to get the "installer" to call back. Still have not heard back as of today.Service: Vinyl window installation & replacement

Wow, worst company to deal with ever. Started with the estimator giving us a clear window for the bathroom when we just wanted all windows replaced ( and the bathroom window was frosted glass to begin with). The company blamed us because we signed a contract. Went downhill from there. From supply chain issues, to employee problems, to broken materials, no communication (except when they want payment).Where does the buck stop? It has been 6 months waiting for Window World to fix our french doors. Bottom molding is lifting and you have to force the door to close correctly. Tech showed up with the wrong part.Now we have to wait again for the correct piece to be installed. I am not a happy customer.

Door installed did not have the action ordered. We physically showed the sales guy which way we wanted the door to open. That was the end of that. The follow up measurement person made no mention of the action side. When installers showed up they assured me the door action was what I ordered. Upon installation, the door action was opposite of what we wanted. We immediately called Window World and was told we were informed by all parties we had interface with, we signed the contact with some cryptic acronym noting action of door. Exactly the opposite happened, just like he action of our door. No word was spoken regarding the action of the door after we showed the sales guy what we wanted. When discussing with Window World their comment was, "well it is a center opening door, so no bid deal". It is a bid deal, it is not what we ordered. For a door we didn't order and now don't want we were given a, your stuck with it and we will give you a $200 discount. This was not a satisfying experience or outcome. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. They are not concerned with customer satisfaction.Service: General door installation

When you need Window World to come out and fix patio door handles that keep falling off or screens that don’t stay on the patio doors or any repair under the “guarantee for the life of the window”, FORGET IT!!They say someone was using the Window World name and they do not know anything about our situation. We got the windows 10 years ago with this company!A few years down the road when you need work or repair done- your Window World guarantee will be worth NOTHING!!!
