I met with Lee And he helped methrough the design and planning process. He was very attentive, had good practical ideas, and always quickly responded when I called with a question or concern. Jim Dixon and his crew built our shop and they were fantastic to work with. I found them to be professional and friendly. I was very happy with the quality of their work, and they put up with me asking a lot of questions. They quickly resolved a couple of unforeseen snags (weather and rocks) and stayed on schedule.I would definitely recommend everyone involved in our build!

We purchased and built a building using a Mac-Co Building kit. We are very pleased. 1. Engineering - easy for owner/ builder to understand, when we ran into rock problems while digging hole they came up with alternate plan (no additional cost) 2. Material quality was very good, the quantity was just right 3. Mac-Co support was outstanding. Lee was easy to work with and always answered my questions. He also helped with making sure I filled out all the paper work for getting the building permit.We would definitely consider using Mac-co if we ever build again.

Couldn't be happier with the job Mac-co Metal Buildings did on our new pole barn. All of the documentation was straight forward, Lee was in steady contact with me to explain the process and they went the extra mile to get the permits and inspections done to keep the project moving forward quickly before the weather got us! Jim and his crew were efficient, clean, and courteous. The materials were top quality and all the neighbors are in awe. Would not hesitate to use Mac-co again!

Worked with Lee quite a bit to do some unique custom options. Lee was really flexible and open to idea. Took a bit to get permits, but that was a Sonoma County specific issue, once we got moving things went fast and Lee was really flexible on thing I tweaked over time. Building is a great value, very stout and I would definitely use again.

I bit the bullet and finally decided to build a shop. I looked at all the metal building kits on the market. The salesmen would'nt leave me alone. They still call me! Additionally, I wasn't sure I'd get exactly what I wanted so I called the local guys at Mac Co. Lee Hart was very courteous. He gave me the information I needed to decide on final design and gave me confidence in their product. He helped me through the permit process and explained the construction process of post frame construction thoroughly, detailing all the tricks. The plans have much to be desired, but with Lee to explain things, it all worked out fine. The kit comes completely engineered unlike the metal building kits who generally require foundation engineering. The materials were delivered on time and in stages so as to circumvent the detriment of Redding summer sun. I built my 2200sf shop/carport by myself so it took a few months of weekends and evenings. All the while I continued to have questions and need for additional materials. Even though I had paid them months in advance, Lee was INCREDIBLY responsive to get me exactly what materials and information I needed to complete my project. Do NOT worry about service after the sale with Lee around. Even Bruce and Danny the delivery guys were helpful with info and pointers if I caught them in time. Of course, Mac Co builds too, and I could not pour the 20 yards of concrete myself so I called on Lee who set me up with Jim Dixon and crew who did a great job on my flatwork. If youre considering owner builder on a Mac Co building, inquire NOW. You want to plan ahead so you're building in the best time of year. Redding heat will twist your mind...and you're lumber if you fiddle fart around too much in the summer. I built in summer and still managed. I'm glad I went with Mac Co. Given a choice, I'd do it again. Guessing I'll be building another one some day.Troy Nicolls

I have used Mac-Co and Metals Direct for two Metal buildings at my address.First building was by Metals Direct. Metals direct was easy enough to deal with in the beginning until they got my money; then I had nothing but problems. Among them was an Engineering mistake they made. Mark (Owner) refused to deliver the building until I paid an additional $3000 to cover their mistake. Upon delivery there were several building items missing. They implied my contractor had stolen them. The list goes on.Second Building was built by Mac-Co. The Mac-Co team was a pleasure to work with, I have no complaints from beginning to end. My only regret is I had not heard about Mac-Co until after my first building was done.

Purchased a 30’ x 42’ x 12’ shop kit. Lee offered great customer service through the whole project answering any questions I had with the install. I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting a pole building, thanks again Lee!!

We've assembled/ constructed several metal buildings. We went with Mac-Co over Parker buildings out of Oregon to try to spend locally, and we can honestly say, no good deed goes unpunished.Sales rep Dan Rizzi was INCREDIBLY RUDE, and impossible to work with when we had questions regarding their incomplete plans. Details on plans are missing and or wrong.Be warned, the local concrete guys (who pour when when Mac-Co constructs) tell us that Mac-Co doesn't put the concrete that THEIR OWN PLANS RECOMMEND in the post holes.Thankfully, we have seasoned people who've done many buildings and so we can work around Mac-Co incomplete blue prints.Never again will we buy from Mac-Co.

I had a small building constructed and within a year there was circular cracking around the post in the cement slab. I reported it and they stated I should wait a few months to see if it became worse. Now after a year and a half all of the post have substantial cracking around the post and they will not return communication. I will have to go to court to enforce the warranty. Stay away and find a contractor to build your barn. It will be better and less expensive. I went with Macco because I wanted to avoid these issues.
