My bathtub valve broke today and was stuck open. I turned off the main and called around to try and get it fixed. Sean was amazing. He was fully booked but made some recommendations for other plumbers. He also asked what the problem was, identified that it was likely a bad cartridge, and gave me detailed instructions on how to fix it. That convinced me I could do it myself - and I did. Long story short, I highly recommend Abbott; great experience.We had an unknown gas leak that required turning off gas to the entire house. We didn’t know any plumbers, so we googled it and found Abbott Plumbing and Sean. To say we lucked out would be an understatement. He was super responsive, got to our house quickly, and more importantly when he said he would. He spent 3 hrs methodical going through all our gas fittings looking for our leak. I appreciated how thoughtful he was in finding the leak and how well he explained each step to us, to keep us all on the same page. Ultimately, he fixed the leak, explained the next steps i needed to take with PGE, and was there to answer a random question from the PGE person, when they finally arrived to turn gas back on.I would highly recommend Abbott for any plummeting service. He made what was a stressful situation much better and smoother.
