I could not be more satisfied with the support and services provided by Haldeman Construction. Hiring Jason (December 2016 – April 2017) as the contractor to complete the work at our home was hands down the best decision I have made as a homeowner.Jason genuinely CARES about his clients. Each project is unique to him and each client is special and made to feel like a priority. He was meticulous with his documentation, he never missed a deadline, and he was cautious about our budget. I have many relatives that have had work done to their homes and I heard horror stories of their interactions with their contractors. These relatives are envious of my fairytale experience with Haldeman. Speedy work, excellent communication AND we did NOT exceed our budget! If you are looking for a team that ACTUALLY CARES about the work that they do AND their clients, you need to trust Haldeman Construction.*Read below for more details about my expeiernce with Haldeman Construction*Our home flooded Dec 2016 and we were heartbroken with the damage and horrible timing of being displaced from our home during the holidays. Haldeman Construction was recommended to me by my emergency services team and the moment I met Jason I trusted him and was comforted by his personable temperament and determination to get things moving on our repairs.I am a young homeowner that had zero experience with insurance companies or the headache of filing a claim. I had a uniquely horrible experience with my homeowner’s insurance that I can confidently say was only resolved due to the support Jason provided. He went above and beyond to provide support and counsel to how to best manage the situation and helped me collect evidence to demand that I receive what I was legally owed by my insurance company. Once the insurance was settled, Haldeman’s team was unstoppable and exceeded my expectations for time of completion.Jennifer, Haldeman Const. office manager, is amazing!!! She made the paperwork fiasco between my insurance company, mortgage company and contractor PAINLESS! She is so friendly, personable and organized. I would get detailed emails as to how to efficiently complete the paperwork needed by all 3 parties and she would take care of the rest! If I had any questions she was available to me and would respond to my emails within minutes. Haldeman Construction is lucky to have her on their team.Jason assigned Stan as my project manager. Stan was attentive, dedicated and responsive to the work that was being done at the home. He was very involved and maintained a close eye on the work being completed by the sub-contractors. He would send me text updates daily to keep me in the loop as to the progress being made. During this time, I was pregnant and fearful of the chemicals/particulate matter of demolition and construction and Stan was very aware of this. He would let me know which days it was 100% safe for me to be on site and which days I should stay away just to be extra cautious. I appreciated him being courteous and acknowledging my fears and anxiety during this time.I am very grateful for the work Jason and his team completed. It was a seamless experience and the finished product is magnificent!

Our refrigerator leaked, causing damage to the kitchen cabinetry and possibly the kitchen wall. Our insurance adjuster steered us toward Haldeman Construction because they do excellent work and also because they have a good carpenter who's experienced at repairing cabinet damage. Jason Haldeman made the first visit and assured us that they'd be able to handle the job with a minimum of disruption. We were naturally worried at the prospect of wood rot and mold so we greatly appreciated his steady assurance that he could do the job. He brought his project leader, Lou Lewis, to the house in his next visit. Lou was also calm and assured. When the work commenced it turned out that the damage wasn't as bad as it could have been. The carpenter, Jarrod McDade of American Woodcrafters, was able to replace all the damaged cabinetry and fix the dry wall. Lou came back on site for the final inspection and being the detail oriented guy he is made sure that everything was totally restored. We were so relieved. We went from apprehension at not knowing the extent of the damage to 100% satisfaction of the excellent work of Haldeman Construction.

Haldeman Construction team handled repairs to our property when we had a 42" diameter 75-foot tall tree fall across our yard, a road easement and into our property across the road. It happened in January while we were in Europe. Oh no!Our insurance broker (Lloyd Lawson, Farmers, Meadow Vista) stepped up and helped us hire Haldeman to restore water to the house and clear the tree root and tree from the yard, street and field. It was a very big job, done professionally and promptly. Lloyd Lawson and Jason Haldeman then worked with the claims adjusters until they'd managed to get enough budget to get all the rest of the work done. Lou Lewis managed the secondary and final work, also never meeting us, and made sure we were 100% satisfied. The work was done professionally, and to our high standards. The communication level was above standard, by far (calls, emails, photos and working with us and our tenants). The team is great! Highly recommend them should you ever need construction services in the area. We will definitely call on them should we need help in the future.(I also recommend Lloyd Lawson as an insurance broker.)

Our home in Roseville was 80% water damaged from a leaking water pipe and had to undergo extensive repairs. Jason Haldeman's bid for the work was a competitive one. What impressed us was the quality of the workmanship and their adherence to the schedule. Additionally, Jason and his Project Manager Jeff Schafer were always quick to respond to my questions, and requests. Haldeman Construction is awesome! From previous experiences, I am unfortunately accustomed to the typical dirty, smelly contractor. Usually, I have to look over their shoulder to make sure they finished the job correctly. Not with Haldeman Construction, they are professional, polite and knowledgeable. They are also on-time and warned me BEFORE changes occurred. You could not ask for a better company to hire.

The trouble started on a Monday morning. I put the garden hose into the flower bed that runs along the back of my house to do some watering. I accidentally left the water running for 3 to 4 hours before I realized I had left it on. Water seeped into my house. I used the carpet shampooer to suck up water for three or four days before I became aware that the walls in my living room we’re very soft. That’s when I knew the water had done much more damage to my living room and two of my bedrooms than I had realized. I called my insurance company and they told me I needed to have water mitigation done right away. Through Home Advisor I found Haldeman Restoration Company who employs Austin Hsu. Austin quickly became my knight in shining armor. He took charge and oversaw everything from the moment I called him. First of course was the water mitigation, and because of my bad lungs — air purification, both of which Austin started within an hour and a half of my phone call to him. Then everything needed to be moved out of the affected rooms. Everything was moved out to a pod in my driveway. Testing of the walls in the affected rooms for lead paint and asbestos had to be done. Asbestos was found so a special crew came out to do the demolition. This was followed by more testing to be sure the rooms were cleared of the offending asbestos. Then a little more water mitigation. Then came time for the build back. An estimator, JD Defreece also with Haldeman Restoration Company, came out. And now in about five more days the build back will begin. Austin Hsu of Haldeman Restoration Company made the arrangements for all of these tasks to be done. He worked with each company and with my insurance company to make sure everything was on track. This horrible accident had the capability of causing me a lot of stress. But thanks to Haldeman Restoration Company and Austin Hsu the whole process was pretty much stress free. One cannot put a price on that and I’m very appreciative. Heaven for bid something like this should ever happen to my home again. But if something were to happen I would not hesitate to call Haldeman Restoration Company.

Wanted to deal with these folks but office manager Jennifer was beyond rude. Her tone and demeanor turned us off immediately. Probably do decent work but wasn't taking a chance after dealing with this beyond rude individual. People in the office make a difference, this girl shot the deal.
