We needed to update our home to be more wheelchair friendly and Max and his crew delivered 120%.Our home had a pointless elevated concrete platform at the entrance with 3 steps to go into the house or garage. Max's crew removed it to make entire first floor completely level. Entry door, garage door and closet door had to come down to accommodate new height. We replaced our old stairs with beautiful, modern spiral staircase that gave us back a lot of space. AC return was also lowered along with all electrical switches and outlets. Max also demoed a wall with useless fireplace and replaced with a gorgeous glass sliding door facing our front yard. We also got rid of a pillar stuck right in the middle of our living room that was supporting the second floor and replaced it with hidden beam so the entire living room space is now completely open.We also used this opportunity to update master bathroom and add a sink and and tile to the laundry section in garage.Overall we are extremely happy with the quality and speed of work and have been recommending Max to everyone we know.Services: Home renovations, Bathroom remodeling, Painting, Waterproofing, Interior finishing, Exterior painting, Remodeling, Exterior finishing, Drywall installation, Drywall repair, Flooring

We had an emergency roof issue on our main house and garage which led to a quite complex project. We did roofs, drywall, demolished a carport and replaced the main gate. Max was absolutely incredible to work with, kept me informed every step of the way and I will for sure be working with him again!

My wife and I live in Studio City and recently remodeled our kitchen, bath room, garage, fireplace, front and backyards. We initially obtained three proposals from three different contractors and were not happy because they were too expensive and we only met with their sales people who did not know much about construction. Max was totally different. First, he is the owner of the family business and knows every tiny detail of everything. Second, his proposal was very reasonable and well explained. Third, he was always available. In fact, he regularly came to our house before and during the project. He answered our phone calls, text and email inquiries. Fourth, he is simply a honest person who understood our concerns -- Max always tried to save us some money and fixed everything we did not like. By the way, Max was highly recommended by a garden designer who told us that "he is the nicest guy". She was absolutely right and we were very happy that we retained his service. Prior this last remodel, we did some other work because we have been living in the same house since 1994 and the house was built in 1939. We wish we had known Max for our previous jobs -- we could have saved a lot of money and would have been happier. A great job and thank you, Max!

This was the smoothest and most painless construction job I have ever been through!Of all the attributes that I liked about Omyo Construction, the most that stood out was the attention to detail. Max ran the construction job as if he was working on his own house. No detail was too small. Another great character defining hallmark was how well organized the project seemed to be. When Max said something was to happen on a particular day, then that thing happened exactly on that day.Very happy to have used Omyo Construction Company in my remodel!
