Approved Contractor was outstanding! This process all started a year ago. I had a homeowner with a classic style of aluminum siding in very good condition. There had been some minor damage in a few places. Plus, they painted soon after taking possession of the home not six months before. I called around to suppliers and contractors for weeks, being promised they either had what I needed only to be disappointed later on follow up with a “Sorry, we can’t help you with that particular style of aluminum siding.”. I finally came across Approved Contractor and they were different. They didn’t jump to conclusions and tell me what I wanted to hear only to disappoint me later. Kimberlee the person I spoke with on the phone was very helpful and asked a lot of good questions. Didn’t promise anything, but assured me someone would reach out to me right away to get more information. They, and wanted to set up an appointment to come see the project to make sure they could do it. Matt Loomis met me on site and reviewed the scope of work, took a lot of measurements and pictures, and let me know that it would be very challenging to find this particular style of siding, but not to give up. The siding was 8 inch high by half-inch, straight taper, with a single profile and a smooth finish. Anyone looking for this, or know about it, can verify this is a real unicorn and the Siding manufacturing world. Matt and I work together and eventually found a vendor that could supply this particular style. Praise going out to Matt and Kimberlee for their heroic efforts And making this all happen there were times where it seemed like this just wasn’t going to happen. But they stuck with it and kept me updated from time to time and we finally got the job finished. Their team came out and replaced an entire section of the home , along with a few spot repairs, piecing in single sections seamlessly. I just can’t say enough about this team and Approved Contractors! Thanks again, everyone!

The Approved Contractor Team is one of the most professional companies I've hired to help improve my 1908 Craftsman home. The office was very communicative, the foreman was polite and courteous, the painters we're great problem solvers and friendly. The project was done in about a month- there were some needed gaps due to rain. This is a company that prioritizes quality materials, great service, and fantastic warranties. Very happy with the lifetime warranty on my cool tex paint. Thank you for a great experience.

I was very happy with Approved contractors. Matt who came out and gave the quote was very professional and responded promptly to questions/changes and gave good advice. The office kept me informed of scheduling. And then the job was finished quickly and done well!! I received about 3 quotes and this one was substantially less than the others. So a great experience (which is too often not the case with contractors) and I would use them again!

The project went extremely well, they were here on time and totally meet my expectations. Their workers are friendly and very respectful. My house looks very different, I have received many nice remarks. This company stands out for it's professionalism and quality of work. I would rehire them again if I needed anything else. Approved Contractor, Inc. is a fantastic company and takes exceptional pride in providing the best customer service and top-notched workmanship.To begin with Matt went beyond all expectations, even above my own, in evaluating my stucco project situation and bringing about a solution to covering the exposed garage door wood frame in order to prevent future dry rot. The aluminum lathe frame did cover all existing wood and created a wonderful stucco frame. Additionally, I can't wholeheartedly thank Matt enough for what seemed like a million questions with regards to the roofing estimate. Matt is amazing and the best first impression for Approved Contractor, Inc!!Secondly, the office staff of Kimi, Emely and Jared were exceptional in proving smooth communications on the status of the project timeline and answering questions.Finally, the stucco crew of Rene, Jose and Omar are top-notched professional craftsmen. These guys were pleasant, knowledgeable, and exceptional. As a result, my home looks beautiful!! During the initial visit Jared did a great job explaining the process while taking notes about the house. The process itself was painless and his team did a great job making the house look fantastic, we were particularly impressed that they were able to fix a lot of bumps and waves in the original finish. Jared guarantees his work for four years. I had 6 windows and a sliding glass door. The foreman Lalo worked with one other person to get this all done in one day. I can’t overemphasize how happy we are with the job Approved Contractor did on our home. Huge project removing all exterior stucco and replacing with James Hardie siding. Jared was amazing in helping us through the project and making decisions, and his team are the absolute best! They know their craft so well and are courteous, respectful, on time, and a pleasure to be around for the weeks we stayed in our home and saw it completely transformed. There wasn’t a day that the neighbors didn’t say “wow - can I get their card?” Or “looks fantastic!” The crew cleans up after themselves every day and are a pleasure to deal with in every way. Excellent experience from start to finish! We had all our old, and single-pane windows (about 23) and doors (3) replaced at our house. We first met Mark, who came to our house; he thoroughly reviewed our windows and answered our questions without pushing us to sign anything. We met with the owner Jared before we decided to move forward. The communication with the office was excellent. The lead time was ultimately longer than initially planned (but this was expected given the state of the supply chain in 2022).The installation was fantastic. Lalo and his team came for about four days to our house and did an extraordinary job. Lalo explained everything we needed to know about the process to accommodate our working-from-home schedule and our two indoor cats. My wife and I are pleased to recommend Approved Contractors. We decided to take on a major project for our house. We started by looking at recommendations on Yelp and some other sites. We kept reading about Approved Contractors. We decided to give them a call.Mike Waters contacted me and set up a time to meet. We immediately felt comfortable working with Mike. He was punctual, was a straight shooter, and backed up everything he promised. We had a general idea of how much the project would cost and Mike was in our target range.We had new construction windows installed, Hardie cement siding, new stucco, and a texture coat finish. We love the windows and the guys that installed them were first class all the way. It’s amazing what new windows can do for a home!Most of our time, though, was dealing with Jesus and his crew. From demo to final clean up, he and his crew were on top of things. We were especially impressed with Jesus’ eye for detail. He went above and beyond a number of times.I’m not sure if Approved Contractors is the cheapest company but I can certainly say they are worth every penny! We are very happy with their work and highly recommend them.

I just want to thank Approved Contractor for a hassle free service from beginning to the end. Before choosing Approved Contractor, I had received several quotes for my window replacement project. As I found out it was going to be a long and tedious process. However, after speaking to Jared from Approved Contractors, he made us feel at ease answering all our questions with no pressure to purchase anything. We knew that the right choice was Approved Contractor. The whole process was super easy and quick. Once the Windows arrived it only took them 1 ½ days to replace 13 Windows on a two story home. That is impressive! Our windows were at least 30 years old, with that comes no noise reduction and very little protection against the cold winters and the hot summers. Once all windows were replaced, our home had a cozier feel due to the whole house having normal room temperature in every corner of the house and noise reduction was very noticeable. Overall getting the windows replaced was a great investment. We can feel the difference that these windows have made, as well as my family when they come to visit. Not only have these windows provided us comfort with the weather elements, you can tell these windows are built to last and are quality made. I also want to thank the window installers. Lalo the main Foreman was awesome, very detailed, knowledgeable, clean and a true professional. The project was finished fast with no delays or issues. I can honestly say this is the first time i have had five Star experience with any contractor i have hired. My fiancé and I are extremely happy with the windows. Finding an honest, reliable contractor is super hard, one thing I can say with all honestly is Approved Contractor is that reliable and honest contractor you can use on you window replacement project. I met with 5 different stucco companies and chose Approved Contractor. That choice was based on a neighbor's recommendation, the quality of work I saw at a number of homes AC provided addresses for, and multiple meetings about the process and products they would be using. I worked most closely with Don, who was always professional, timely, and very importantly to me, was that he maintained consistent communication before, during and after our stucco project. A year has passed now and we continue to be very pleased with the stucco work by Approved Contractor. I'm a realtor and am always looking for businesses and companies that I feel confident to recommend to family, friends, neighbors, and clients - Approved Contractor is such a company.

We had a bay window installed and were pleased with the initial attentiveness in the ordering process. The day of installation the crew showed up on time and things were going smoothly. There was an issue and when asked how it would be resolved the crew member was extremely rude and would not explain how it would be fixed. I had to initiate scheduling of stucco repair and roof installation which took place two weeks later :( One day a crew member showed up with no prior notification. The roof was not complete and I was asked to make final payment three different times! Started strong, finished poorly, would not recommend.

Nearby heavy construction work shook our home causing portions of the stucco to crack and fall off. One contractor told us all the stucco would need to be pounded off. Another gave us an estimate large enough to rebuild the entire house.We asked Approved Contractor to do an inspection. Mike arrived right on time. He carefully inspected everything we pointed out. Then he showed us things we hadn't noticed and made a few suggestions. He assured us that after the job was finished, everything would look the same. The only thing we had to do was pick out the paint colors. We felt confident Approved Contractor could do the work and signed the contract.The crew arrived on time on the specified start date. And in just seven working days, everything was done. All the cracks and places where stucco fell away are gone, everything is beautifully painted. They definitely aren’t the cheapest in town, but they don’t cut corners and did a great job without any added costs throughout the project. We hired the team at Approved Contractor, Inc. for the installation of James Hardie Hardishingle in Brea, CA. They are one of just a few Elite installers of the product in Southern California. They also did some replacement of fascia while onsite. The team is terrific! Matt Loomis showed on time for the estimate and was detailed in the process. He followed up each inquiry and proactively provided their contractor's license, insurance, nearby references and certification documentation of their status with Jamie Hardie. We scheduled the project out and made a deposit. Pricing was competitive as we got four bids including one from another Elite installer. Come starting day and everyday on the job they showed up on time and ready for work. The crew and supervisor were friendly and communicated with us throughout the job. We are very happy with the finished project. The siding looks great!. They skipped no steps from removal of the old siding to adding new underlayment, water barrier and the siding itself. They broom cleaned each day and had a dumpster onsite and a portable restroom for their crew, especially with the pandemic underway. Their team wore masks while onsite and keep their distance when I was outside to look at the progress. Each time I have called their office, I get a live person on the phone and email is equally responded to. After the job, Kimberlee followed up to ensure our satisfaction and even sent some cookies to "sweeten the deal". Good company, professional work, responsive. Jared Green has a solid organization. We would hire them again and we will recommend them to others.
