The decision to go Solar was an easy decision. $0 upfront cost, $0 out of pocket expense, Federal Tax Rebate to offset the total cost of the Solar system and my monthly payment will be lower for Solar than what I currently pay PGE. What is not so easy is the decision on which company to use, who to trust, pricing, explaining, built out etc., knowing who to work with is not always so easy. I did research, looked online, read reviews, checked licenses, asked questions, asked more questions, sometimes I would ask questions I knew the answer to but I wanted to hear what they would say. Then, I made my decision and went with Sbrega Electric.I can tell you SBREGA Electric was the right choice. There are many steps in this process. From the analysis, the estimate, the build out, permits, to getting it up and running I have felt comfortable, not rushed to a decision, and very impressed with this process so far. From the first phone call with Tom Sbrega he took time, patience and walked me through all this. He also comes out to your home to measure, look at the property, the roof, measure and meet me and sit and talk with the wife and I. A few companies just sent me estimates by phone and email with a Google picture. I would not even meet the representative in person or know who I was going to invest this major purchase with.The entire project is not complete yet, we are now waiting for the County Inspector to come out, but I thought I should write this well-deserved review and update it once the project is complete.SBrega Electric should be the company you choose for your Solar needs. His crew Ray, Auggie and team were timely, efficient, courteous and beyond professional. The attention to detail and cleanliness work site is not seen very often.If you are unsure who to use, call Sbrega Electric, the previous review about him and his company are true.

We had a great experience with a solar install with Sbrega Electric. First, Tom is really knowledgeable and analytical, which I appreciate. He is passionate about solar and really keeps up in the technology and the market. I did a TON of reading and research and Tom was always informed on every topic I came across. Second, he really worked hard to see that we got our install. We got a faulty inverter from the manufacturer. Dealing with that took a lot of extra time and troubleshooting and driving. Tom just kept pushing with the vendor and making extra trips to our place until it was completed as soon as possible. I have been recommending Sbrega to all my friends since then. A friend who used them also had a great experience.

I purchased a 23 panel, 4 battery PV system from Sbrega Electric in 2021.The entire process went very smoothly. I dealt directly with the owner, Tom Sbrega, who handled the entire procurement, permitting, installation and warranty process. Tom was readily available directly by phone or text and responded promptly to any questions. The installation was very professional and looks sharp. And any warranty service will be coordinated through Sbrega Electric.I couldn’t be happier with the system or the service and care provided by Sbrega Electric.

I highly recommend Sbrega Electric. I searched online for qualified and licensed electricians and Tom from Sbrega Electric gave me the best quote. I was able to get an appointment within 2 days. Tom came out personally to install my EV (Electric Vehicle) home charger in my garage. He thoroughly explained what needed to be done. Installation was completed in a timely manner. Tom exceeded my expectations and his work is impressive. I've heard they're experts in solar installation too. So I'll be calling Sbrega in the near future for my solar needs. Thank you Sbrega!

Thomas Sbrega installed our solar panels and backup battery system.He was very fair with his pricing.He was so patience and answered all our question.He also showed us how to get online and monitor our solar production and electric usage. In less than our year the back up battery went out and we have been waiting on Sbrega to replace it. We have been waiting 9 months and Sbrega just gives us the run around with little to no communication. Very disappointed, after spending extra for a back up battery and not having the luxury of using it.

Sbrega Electric performed professionately, as they promised. Diagnosed solar output failure, replaced the inverter. Also supported internet output, alowing real time views of solar performance. Employee Rudy was on time, intent on satisfying us-the customer. Tom Sbrega responded quickly and efficiently. Look forward to using his service again in the future.
