We can't speak highly enough of Green Air. They have put in our Tesla backup house batteries, our solar rooftop system and heat pumps. So you can see, we have used them three times now and each time it has been a delight: their work was done properly, efficiently, and was reasonably priced. Their service is exceptional. Absolutely delightful to work with them. Workpeople and ownership are great and responsive. We give them our highest recommendation.

Nick and Green Air just installed 9.1kW rooftop solar (21 Maxeon panels), two Tesla PowerWall+, a Tesla Inverter/Gateway, two SPAN panels, and all of this communicates together controlled by the Tesla app. I had a friend that installed this rig, and frankly, Nick was the only vendor that thoroughly understood it and had experience. Green Air was timely, clear, estimates and invoicing were clear and accurate, professional, the install and conduit routing is very well done and looks great, and the team members friendly and courteous. I couldn't be any happier, I'd like to give six stars. We just had an all day PG&E outage, and this system flawlessly kept everything running. Solar is not just about saving energy costs, it is also about reliable power and energy backup (without requiring gas like a generator). They were very helpful on Solar Credits, and our tax rebate of 30% made it very affordable! I can recommend them highly.

I've been a customer of Green Air for over 10 years. I just recently had them come out for service on my HVAC system for my annual maintenance which I have them do every Fall. Most years everything is fine, but this year they found a minor issue that needed to be addressed and took the time to show me the problem, and educate me on the corrective action and why it needed to be fixed. As a homeowner I understand HVAC systems need work from time to time, not every contractor has skilled employees like Green Air who take the time to truly inspect your system, and go beyond by providing the information needed to make an informed decision.Services: HVAC system maintenance, Heating system repair, Repair HVAC

In December we started to gather some quotes from local companies for a new Heater and A/C (and not to thrilled with the lack of expertise), I decided to look a bit further away from our city (Brentwood). I stumbled across Green Air and also noticed a friend of mine used them! They were very professional during the quote process and walked and talked us through everything!Fast Forward: About two week ago our A/C broke down (was about time). We had already had set everything up with Green Air, but we didn't expect the A/C to break down. After we returned from a camping trip I called Nicholas to see if we could move up our build date. Obviously with the Heat Wave coming, I didn't think they would be able to squeeze us in. To our good fortune Nicholas called us back and in two days they would start the process (thank you!!!!). They came out on a Thursday and Friday to work on the job (mind you this was the severe heat 105-110 temperatures). Alex and Derrick not only worked for two days in those horrendous temperatures but they were very professional and polite the entire time!We had a dual zone heat pump installed and compared to our old A/C this is so quiet! We also had Green Air add some solar to the house!The entire process with Green Air was very smooth and very professional!100% would recommend Green Air!

We did a major remodel of our home and Green Air did an exceptional job on various aspects of our remodel. They installed solar panels on the roof + a battery storage system, they repaired both of our furnaces and both of our AC’s, installed brand new HVAC through the whole house with individual zones, installed the downdraft in our kitchen for our stove, and installed a heat pump for our pool. Every installation they did was very professional, on time, and they always answered all of our questions with great detail (at all hrs of the day!). We have never had any issues with our systems and it has been 1 year since everything was done. Green Air installed a 15kw solar panel system, 3 power walls, all new duct work for our central air system, and repaired 2 furnaces. From the beginning of our contact, Green Air has always been very responsive in all forms of communication (email, text, and phone calls) and professional. Our solar system was installed within 2 weeks of contract signing, and we have not had any issues with roof leaks, or solar panels not working. During the this current supply chain crisis, Green Air was able to fix both of our furnaces during the coldest months of the winter by securing rare parts so that we wouldn't freeze in our own home. Had Nick install solar about 8 years ago. Everything went exceedingly well. Since then, I have referred many friends and acquaintances to Green Air. As a business owner this is something I almost never do. Green Air has been out a few times since then to repair things on my old HVAC system. Most recently yesterday. They have always shown up at the promised time and done everything they could to get me back up and running in the shortest possible time. Green Air did a great job for us installing our Tesla Powerwall in 2020, and they have been there for us since. We have solar panels that are not from Tesla, and they worked very cooperatively with our solar installer to make the system work. We have not had any issues since the installation until recently, when Verizon discontinued 3G wireless support, and Tesla switched to a Wifi connection for their gateway to the web. Problem was, and is, that the Wifi connection on the version 1 Tesla gateway isn't stable - just won't stay connected. Tesla customer service said yeah, we have about 7,000 customers in that situation....but stopped there. No solution offered other than to make it a wired ethernet connection to the gateway. Enter Green Air to the rescue! They came out today and helped with poking a hole in an exterior wall, and opening up the gateway to make the connection. I appreciate knowing that Green Air will be there for any future problems, and highly recommend them. Go Solar! Go Green Air!

this is the worst company in the bay area. they installed a heater at my home, in fact two heaters. they don't work after a few months and then they deny the installer the heart and refuse to repair it. just horrible experience all around, damn it

My family and I have lived in Concord for about 4 years with NO air conditioning! Green Air was recommended to us by my husband's co-worker who recently had solar installed by Green Air. They came highly recommended! They not only install solar, they also provide HVAC installs. Our house is old, no HVAC ducts, just wall heaters (terrible!). Nick, the owner of Green Air came to our house for a quote, at first we were all in for HVAC with duct work. Well Nick gave us a quote for traditional (ducted) HVAC and ductless HVAC with solar. Nick's quote was too good to pass up. We ended with ductless HVAC and solar. Nick had great communication skills that my husband and I did not feel pressured or "out of the loop" . He made sure that all our questions and concerns were addressed before the project started. His crew came on time every day and they treated our house with respect. I observed the crew work well with one another (great team chemistry). They did a "clean cut" job and were very efficient. Nick followed up with us everyday of the project. He made sure that we were completely satisfied with the outcome of our project.We now have ductless Air conditioning and Heating throughout our home. Also we have solar as well. Our ductless system is powered fully by electricity therefore cutting down on our gas bill. Our solar will help decrease our electricity bill, too. Although many may shy away from a ductless system, due to the units that hang on the wall. I personally don't mind at all.I would definitely recommend Green Air to any of my family and friends. We are so happy that we had Green Air complete our HVAC and solar needs.They get the job done right! Nick and his team handled a large project for us in Aug of 2018. It started with Nick coming over to look at my furnace that just went out. Nick gave me some honest feedback and some options. During the visit he did not once mention he does roofing and solar. I point this out as a positive as I never once felt like he was selling me. He simply informed me on my options and potential costs. After some follow up discussion I then discovered he also offers solar. We ended up penciling out the cost and it made sense to make the move to solar. As we were getting ready to start we ran into issues with my roof. Concerned on what to do, Nick was able to provide a solution and at a reasonable cost. Again I point out that not once did I fee pressured to move forward with the project. Ultimately his team was able to install a custom HVAC system, upgrade my roof, and install solar. I wanted to wait at least a year to provide a review so that I could check my actual electricity saves to what was being projected. Turns out Nick was right on the money. The size of my solar project is producing the expected savings and my roof looks great. Nick has always been available for follow up questions and really seems to be passionate about his work. He has a is very knowledgeable about the costs and tax credits. I highly recommend talking to Nick if you have any HVAC or Solar needs.

Solar was a big investment for us and was something we knew nothing about other than it was supposed to help save money on our utilities. Green Air walked us through every phase from purchase through installation and made the whole process easy, quick, and professional.Four stars because a little more guidance and knowledge on after installation would have been helpful. Such as, true up on our utility bill, monitoring and maintenance. That being said we would choose Green Air again.

Nick and Green Air installed our Solar One year ago, it has exceeded its projected output and works great! The work was started and completed on time and Green Air completed all the extra work such as getting permits from the city of Benicia. We've been using Green Air for several years now - and we contacted Green Air just before the holidays because our HVAC was only blowing cold air. Our request was responded to the same day, and Nick was out to inspect and trouble shoot the system within a day of response. After inspection replacement parts were identified/needed, so Nick informed us he would contact Lennox order the parts and be back out. We are very pleased with the professionalism and great service that Green Air has provided. Nick Donzelli designed an excellent HVAC system for us when we renovated our home in 2016. The system is completely quiet and efficient. We are always very comfortable in the cold of winter and the heat of summer. Our energy bill is low and consistent throughout the the year. His company responded immediately and assisted us when we needed to do additional work on our foundation that required our unit to be temporarily disconnected. My heater was beyond repair, the roof leaked & as I was getting older, summers seemed to be getting unbearably hot. My husband had passed away so any decision to make the needed repairs was completely up to me. And I was a nervous wreck about making such a big investment on my own. I’d had a couple of estimates that seemed really high and the people didn’t inspire my confidence. Then Nick Donzelli came out. I had a million questions & I know I must have been driving Nick crazy. But, he was very patient and always explained all my options and answere all of the many emails I sent him. I was concerned that with a new heater and AC unit that my PG&E bill would be outrageous. He then educated me about Solar & helped me find the appropriate financing I would need in order to add that to job.The jobs were done promptly and all his men were courteous, answered my questions, and cleaned up after every step of the job. I am extremely happy with Green Air. Everything happened when I was told it would. I don't have a yard. It is all garden. I was extremely nervous about what would happen to my plants! I was so pleased, not a destroyed or damaged plant. The clean up was fantastic. New roof and solar, and everything was neat and clean when the job was done.
