What a fantastic experience with the Team at Richard Hockett Roofing!!From my initial meeting, to the final repair of my wood stove stack. The wood stove installers had left the original cap/flashing and it started to leak right away. Hockett came in and reviewed the existing condition, put together their recommendations, and then readily fit me into their maintenance schedule. Just in time to avoid the driving rains!Andrea is an amazing communicator (and absolute delight) and kept me informed the entire time along the way.I have scheduled to replace my porch roof with them in the near future. My wife and I needed a new roof and received multiple estimates that ranged from $16,000 up to $20,000. for a 1700 sq. ft. roof. And that did not include any damage to deck (for those that don't know - plywood under shingles). We were just two ladies looking for a fair price and product that would withstand snowy winters.Richard Hockett Roofing - Wow.. that is all I can say. From the first visit with a very fair estimate to the finished product. What an amazing experience and customer service hands down was the best! The entire experience with Richard Hockett Roofing from the initial bid (and we did get a few bids) with Richard through the coordination with Andrea and her assistant Chelsea, to the onsite management of Kolby was nothing but great communication and professional service. All the guys were polite, informative and tidy- always leaving our yard hazard free and clean of debris. All the guys, Vince, Mike, Ryan, James, and Scott were fantastic, polite, punctual and informative. Richards bid was dead on and reasonable. His company was referred by a couple of contractors that worked on our house as they either worked directly with him on jobs or followed his crew on jobs and their opinion was correct: for value, quality and professionalism, Richard Hockett Roofing was worth every penny.

Richard Hockett Roofing repaired and reshingled a section of my roof after an old leaky wood stove pipe was removed. Andrea and Chelsea were both very responsive to emails and phone calls to get the work estimated and scheduled. Kolby arrived at the scheduled time to inspect my roof and and come up with the repair plan.Vince and James were at my house the very next day to complete the work before the next rain storm. They were very efficient in completing the project and left a very clean jobsite when they were finished.The next time I need roof work done I will be using Richard Hockett again.

Hey. You have to get a new roof?? Bummer. It’s expensive and nerve-wracking. So, choose a company that is assuring, professional, polite, and always leaves a clean, clean worksite! Hockett Roofing is truly 5 stars!Richard, owner, visits and is incredibly thorough with his quote and answering all questions. Additionally, he provides photos of the roof, giving you close ups of all the work being discussed/quoted.The office is inviting when you visit, and Andrea takes care of everything. Even when she’s down for the count with COVID!Colby heads the crew of such polite workers, he couldn’t be nicer (even came across the street in rain to help me put on new windshield wipers!).I wish I remembered every worker’s name, they all truly seemed to enjoy working and working together. My next door neighbor texted to say the crew had good taste in music (music to work by ;), and seemed such a “jolly crew.” 😊 One other roofer, Scotty, I remember was also polite and kind.A big, expensive job that I got bids on from 5-6 companies. When all the quotes I received were about the same, price wise, Richard Hockett Roofing included all the details that you would expect with the costs of a project like this. Andrea in the office was very proactive and easy to get ahold of for any questions. She was even able to move my install date up a few days. This company is amazing! They just finished reroofing my roof in 2 1/2 days. I had quite a lot of dry rot that had to be removed and new boards replaced. I also had to have work done around the air conditioning unit and the guy that they sent out to do the work did an amazing job. He also fixed extra stuff on the air conditioning unit. Richard was quick at coming out to see my roof and got an estimate back to me pretty fast. He was very thorough at explaining everything to me. The estimate was very thorough. Andrea in the office was incredibly patient with me in helping me to pick out tiles and gutters. I was having a really hard time making decisions as I had just lost my husband of 47 years to cancer. She was very compassonate and understanding. She was great keeping me updated with everything through this entire process. The crew that came out to do the job were so pleasant and respectful. They always left everything really clean when leaving for the day. Kolby the foreman was awesome at keeping me updated throughout each day. The guys even allowed me to take pictures of them and the roof as they were working. This entire team was professional and persoanble. It was so easy talking with any of them. I feel very blessed to have had this company replace my roof. I would recommend them to anyone. They did an amazing job and I absolutely love my roof and my gutters. The roof looks amazing and my house looks so much nicer with the new gutters.

I hired Richard Hockett Roofing for a roof maintenance job. During the initial estimate I was very impressed with the way Richard explained his scope of work. He used a drone to photograph the roof and on the spot he was able to show me the problem areas and what was needed to be addressed. Mainly removing the tiles in the valley areas, cleaning the valleys of debris and replace the tiles. Also replacing broken roof tiles and securing slipped tiles to their original position. Once the contract was signed, the Office Manager, Andrea, was very professional in her job duties, she scheduled me in a timely manner and gave me timely updates The crew that responded to complete the work were very respectful, professional and thorough in their work. The crew consisted of Anthony, Ryan, Ryan, Vince and James. From the beginning the experience seemed different than the other companies we got bids from. Richard the owner of the company showed up and was attentive and understanding to the magnitude of the our investment. He spent about 2 hours taking notes, measurements, explaining and answering any questions i might of had. When we were ready to make a decision we were brought into the office where we met Andrea and Jennie who are amazing office admins and point of contact. She would always answer our calls or call back in a very timely manner. She was also very informative, energetic and clearly happy to help with any inquiries or questions. Richard's company did an awesome job of giving us a realistic timeline but they were also very understanding that we live on the snowline and so they were able to move mountains to push us up on the schedule. When it was time to begin the project, everyone who showed up(Kolby, Vince, Ryan, Mike, James, Scott) were very friend and extremely professional. I was amazed how quickly everything/everyone ramped up. The best way to describe it was a well oiled machine. You can tell they have a great deal of chemistry. Everyone knew what they were doing and doing it well. I really appreciated how at the end of everyday they would clean and make sure there was no trash or nails(they actually left our yard cleaner than when they first showed up. And just as quickly as everyone showed they finished the project and left. Almost as if nothing had happen. I really appreciated the whole experience and im glad that we chose Richard Hockett over the other roofing companies.

First, I want to thank Andrea for being such a pro and responsive to my calls, from the first to the last. The crew that showed up to do the repair work and get me set up for winter was stellar. Colby, Mike, James showed up and were a positive force all day. As the leader, Colby made sure that everything got done in one day. He had a very friendly and competent way about him. Ryan E. and Ryan D. showed up in the afternoon to help bring the project to a close. It was fun having them around all day but more importantly they did quality work. My roof is steel, steep and 3 stories high. It's dangerous but everyone used preparedness and caution to make sure all went weIl. I feel like I'm ready to for the. winter snows now. Lastly, I want to thank Richard for meeting my needs. This is the busiest time of year for roofers, Sept/Fall, and he pushed him team to find time to meet my important deadline.
