A couple of months ago I asked for recommendations about a quality roofing company. Received several, even had individuals contact me wanting to do the job. After researching the reviews and making sure that they were active with the CSLB. Had 5 companies provide me with an estimate. Finally decided on one, A & K roofing, they provided us with an all inclusive offer, within range of the other offers. They were on time daily, cleaned up at the end of each day, finished the job in the time frame that they quoted, overall they did an AWESOME job, very pleased with the finished product, would highly recommend them. THANK YOU A & K roofing.

I called a and K roofing a few weeks ago after a big a storm. They were nice enough to come out same day to to place a tarp on top of my roof which was very nice for my 1st Experience. I was told that later I would get an email of the diagnosis and the cost that they would charge me. I needed to send this information to my insurance company so that I could have the work done. Let's just say I never heard back from them. I've called several times. I've left text messages. Now the phone won't even ring. Super strange I finally have an appointment with another company that is supposed to come out in the next 4 days. This was a huge setback. Weeks of setback.. Company comprises outstanding professional team. Highly recommend. Work performed has been thorough completed beyond my expectation. The team did not only fixed the leak problem originally addressed but thoroughly went through the entire roof to clean, seal, add flash, etc. Price is very reasonable even offering 2 year warranty. Now I'm confident that my roof is leak free for many years to come. Thank you George and your team for job well done.

Fictitious business. NOT LICENSED IN ANY CAPACITY. The owners, Albert Smith and Karon McKinney, DESTROYED MY HOME and will BEG for money from you to come back and complete the work. They won't come back regardless. They'll leave with your money and materials. Check all their reviews on every site. There are about 15 of us so far. He was arrested AGAIN in January and April 2023 for operating a fictitious business/ obtaining property through false pretense in Caldwel County. No business license, no contractors license, they are not bonded or insured. He has operated under B&B, A&B, A&K, K&A, and now PTN Roofing. DO YOUR RESEARCH AND DO NOT HIRE THESE TWO THIEVES!

A&K roofing was one of four contractors I asked to bid on my job.George from A&K walked my roof, understood my issues, took pictures of the problems, and gave me a fair bid for the work. A&k was not the lowest bidder, not the highest, but the fairest.The work was performed flawlessly by his professional roofing team who did all I asked and even more.Great follow-thru, professional work, by a team of really good competent roofers.Even came back the next day to inspect, and do some extra stuff.I highly recommend George and A&K roofing.

A & K Roofing just finished a repair job on my mother's 53 year old house which had dry rot in three sections of the roof, including one with a very large hole. There was a significant amount of work involved and the roofer who completed the repairs was pleasant, punctual, and energetic. In addition, George, the owner of the company, came onsite at various times throughout the day to ensure the repairs were done correctly. I was impressed with the honesty and professionalism of this company and I am very glad I chose them to handle the repairs.

A & K has the knowledge and the know how to get the job done .I recommended them to my parents in Benicia and they used them.The city inspector told my Mother that he usually fails contractors the first time he evaluates a project, but he had no complaints and was very impressed with the quality of work.I spoke with my Mom after she was given the original cost by George and no work had been performed yet.She said , " This bid is a lot less than the to previous two bids we have got".All I have to say is this.The work performed is top tier .The cost doesn't change due to your location, and I , after speaking with my Mom and her words about the process in general am very impressed again .Therefore i have written this review as testament to the JOB provided by A & K!

A&K Roofing is fantastic. We had them come out after another company gave us a quote for some dry rot repairs that we felt was way too high. Not only was their quote 3 times less than the other company, but they took care of several other items that the first company wasn't even going to address. I would recommend this company to anyone!

A & K Roofing just re-roofed our vintage, Spanish-style house and I couldn’t be more impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. The owner, George Padilla, inspected our roof, explained our various options then gave us a very reasonable bid. A bit lower in fact than other roofers that didn’t have the skill set needed to tackle a flat-top, and tiled roof. His team was equally impressive, and their work reflected the quality expected by their boss. They had to work through a rainy season to complete the job, always showed up when expected, and didn’t consider the job finished till every little detail had been addressed. The even went the extra mile to touch up, fix, or strap down other parts of our house that really had nothing to do with their job.

Will not call me back to fix their work. Vents that they replaced are leaking. Called over 7 times. Once i was finally called back they said they would send someone and never showed. Called back 3 additional times and was not called back. This is not a very good way to do business.

Had an emergency due to all recent heavy rain. They came out as soon as possible and fixed the problem in a timely manner. I would recommend them to others.
