I was happy with the customer service I received.Anthony was very nice and got the belt on right away and I greatly appreciate that.It seemed as the day went on and it got warmer the cooler was not really cooling.So I go up on the roof next morning and notice that the panel was not put back on. (I guess the crashing noise last night was that sliding off the roof)The fan is running quiet at this time and I did find the small cup fitting which I tried to put back in but the little hole is moving when you turn the shaft which makes me believe that the bearing may be going out.The pump was frozen and I was able to clean it up and get that working again.Now my question is this.When you charge for a diagnostic, is there some checklist you go buy?I was surprised that these problems were not noticed.Especially since I am not a certified HVAC technician and I was able to see these problems.I would have posted this a few months ago however I have been putting in a lot of overtime to pay another repair company to fix all the problems I wasn't told about. Pretty cruel to have a senior citizen have to go on the roof because of what turned out to be poor quality work.Service: A/C system repair

January 22, 2024I had a new Trane furnace installed and worked on by a different HVAC company. Despite replacement of defective parts, 3 times, the furnace continued to have excessive noise problems with the inducer unit. I spoke with Trane Consumer Relations, Product Support about my problems. They were helpful and understood my frustrations. They recommended that I contact California Indoor Comfort as highly trained to work on my unit.I called and spoke with Keith about the problems I was having. He was very helpful. He said that he would contact Trane directly so that he could research the history of my furnace. He was able to obtain information about an upgraded part. Daniel, from California Indoor Comfort came to the house to diagnose the problem, correct the natural gas pressure levels and install the new, upgraded inducer assembly.Both Keith and Daniel explained things very well.I am very pleased that Trane Consumer Relations recommended California Indoor Comfort and I am also very pleased with the work that California Indoor Comfort did. After calling and reading reviews of several HVAC companies I decided on California Indoor Comfort and was extremely pleased all-around. Keith (owner) is responsive and considerate, listening carefully to my concerns, which were mainly not having had my A/C unit serviced since 2017. Technician Ping was right on time, spending nearly an hour fully servicing/cleaning the unit and testing indoor temps. He was professional, courteous and knowledgeable, reassuring me that my unit was in good shape - one less worry is priceless. Fees were comparable to significantly more reasonable than other businesses. I highly recommend this company and will definitely call again should future needs arise.

My home AC was blowing warm air so I called a few places, I was told anywhere from two days to two weeks before a repair technician could come check it out. Then I called Keith at California Indoor Comfort, he had someone come out the following morning! Mike came out, was professional and courteous. He found the problem (blown capacitor), had the part in his van and was able to replace it right then! He even performed a quick maintenance on the unit, including washing out the coils! The price was fair and reasonable, I'm immensely happy with the level of service provided, we will be signing up for their scheduled maintenance plan! Thank you California Indoor Comfort!

Our heating unit failed. They were the only one of three companies called to respond immediately with a time and date to do an estimate. They came at the agreed upon time, were professional and timely with the estimate and explanation of the problem. They were able to do the repair the next day. My gas fireplace was not working. The service technician ( Mike ) came to my house to diagnose the reason why. He discovered that the gas valve had failed and that I needed a new one. He did not have the part on his work van but told me he would find one and get back to me soon. I received a call from him a few days later and he told me that my fireplace was made by a company that was no longer in business but he would look for a compatible valve and call me back. He called me back and told me he found a new valve and he gave me a quote for the cost of the repair. I agreed and he came out that afternoon to install the new part. Even though the service area of my fireplace was very confining, he was able to install the new valve and get my fireplace working again. I was so happy that he was able to make the repair even though my fireplace was 25 years old and the original valve was no longer available. I was impressed by Mike's knowledge and he was very pleasant to work with and I was happy that he was the technician that was dispatched to my home. 5 star rating for Mike and California Indoor Comfort !

I am so glad I chose this business. They replaced my 40 year old central Air and Furnace. They were professional, they did the job right. The were respectful of my property. They were punctual. They were clean and kind. OMG!, I almost said the boy scout oath! Lol. Everything came with a written warranty. They even offer payment options. If you need a good company, these people are great! Keith owns the place. Oh, I live in a mobile home, so no job is too small for them. They didn't turn me away like other businesses who say, "that job is too small for us." I get that told to me a lot, especially when I needed rock for front yard.

CIC has one of the most qualified and personable staffs around including the office personal and upper management. The entire company is very knowledgeable about systems/parts and the inner workings of all the equipment needed to keep everything running smoothly. They are always striving to meet the client needs without attempting to have you purchase unneeded upgrades like some other companies. We are on a contract that includes 2 visits/year and we pay the visit fee only once a year. Price for that is also very reasonable. Our AC went out at the worst possible time-when it was over 100 degrees, and when we had out of town guests staying at our home. Called to see if we could get same day service. They were booked, so I thought we were out of luck. I received a call back a short time later, and thankfully they were able to send a technician out to diagnose and fix the problem. Ping was extremely patient, friendly and professional-even after spending over two hours on our roof in 105 degree heat. He answered all of our questions and did a fantastic job. He gave me some options about repair or replacing it and did a nice job with some maintenance. I liked the fact that he did not pressure me into replacing it. I would highly recommend CIC. They were fast friendly and very knowledgeable. I was contacted and given a window of time that was perfect. He showed up when expected and took all the information and concerns that I had into account while servicing my unit. The servicing took about 20-30 minutes. He was able to provide me with some great pointers on how to maintain my heating and air conditioning unit.

Our old roof mount HVAC unit was about 26 years old and still working but we wanted to get a more efficient system as we knew our old unit was on its last leg. we did some research for which manufacture was in the top three listed as best. Trane was our choice and Trane recommended California Indoor Comfort. Contacted Keith and he came up to our home, looked at our old system and explained in detail what new system we needed based on the size of our home. Keith was very precise, took his time explaining the new systems, how they were way more efficient than our old system, and the cost of the new system. He did not pressure us at all, he gave us all the information and let us take our time deciding on which of the two systems he recommended. We made the decision and he called us with an install date.On the day of the install, Keith and Tom came to our home and the removal and installation of the system took about 5 hours. Called Keith for a quote on a new gas furnace. He was extremely helpful and explained everything thoroughly. He did not try to oversell on a system I didn't need. Mike did a great job, previously had a different company come out twice to fix my problem unsuccessfully. Mike was able to correctly diagnose the problem, order the proper part and install all in a timely manner.
