Working with Joel Portillo was pure bliss! My husband and I recently bought our forever home. An 8,500 sqft home in Sherman Oaks but it needed a complete remodel of 6 bedrooms, and 7 bathrooms. The original home architecture and design was pretty outdated, and we wanted something more modern, and high-end. Joel & Co. Joel & Co. construction remodeled our guest bedroom and bathroom; about 600 sq. ft. Remodeling projects are stressful! Joel was able to answer all our questions quickly with honesty. We were happy with the job and would recommend them to friends and family. I was very much worried about thinking whom to hire as the contractor as I was planning for some great kitchen remodeling along with proper bath renovation. After meeting Joel, the owner of Joel & Co. Construction I was pretty sure that he has some promising ideas to provide our kitchen and bathroom. My wife and I recently chose Joel and Company to help us remodel our home in West Hollywood.  We had heard lots of horror stories about contractors so we talked with several companies, but selected Joel because we felt very comfortable with him from the start.  He was within our budget, and had no problem modifying our plan and designs several times when we changed our minds or found something we wanted was too expensive. I was in need of a professional in carrying out a couple of petty jobs for my new apartment in Los Angeles. The bathroom space was making it inadequate to have a bathtub fitted. While searching for a reliable remodeling company I got to know about Joel’s company. Well, they were not my first choice as I have the option of an alternative. We inherit a house from my in laws and the house is very beautiful but the bathroom and the kitchen was not so pleasant at all. We were in need of a general contractor who will be able to rebuild the kitchen and bathroom with the new designed interiors in a reasonable price. I was pretty confused about the hiring job as I moved in Los Angeles only few months ago and purchased this house where I needed a guest room in addition. Spending money for house renovation is always a very big decision and for me it was extremely intimidating since the last two attempts were not successful at all. The work site is always well organized and clean. Joel Portillo did an outstanding job overseeing the construction project. I had a room addition built and completely renovated my entire house, including remodeling my kitchen and all four bathrooms. All of the workers were friendly and fantastic at their specific trade. There I got some useful and preferable designs for my home and they had always promised to provide satisfactory services and I am happy that they have kept their promise.
