***Update***I am writing an updated review for Savecal in Northern California so my experience might be a little different. Overall, the quality of the work was good and my salesman was very honest about the price and options I had available. However, When it came time to finally install my roof and solar panels I don't know if they hired a third party contractor because the service quickly changed. They actually damaged my roof and left trash in front of my house which they never collected after contracting them about it.They are new to NorCal so a lot of things are different and if I needed anything I could only contact my salesman so the process took a long time to complete: over 7 steps and 7 months later, I am still waiting for permits and inspections. After the sale is complete they seem to not care about your business anymore since they got your money anyway.

The installment process of my central AC & heating by Save Cal was smooth and easy. It took about 2 days and the people involved were very organized, knowledgeable and reliable. When they came to my house, the workers had floor covers to avoid scratches or damages to my flooring and they cleaned up after themselves when the work was done. They tested the AC and they taught me how to use the Nest controller which is the thermostat for the AC and heating. I’m overall very satisfied with their work and their product. Highly recommended.

From the beginning of the process, our sales representative, John Real, has been very professional. He explained in high detail the requirements, benefits, and value of the central cooling and heating system. We are very satisfied with the worksmanship of everyone in the crew. During the installation, there was a heat wave that reached over 100 degrees in the ceiling. They didn't complain, nor slow their pace down. We expect the value of our home to rise while we enjoy the benefits of temperature-controlled air.

Windows made easy. From the sales person through the install all went smoothly with little hassle other than Mother Nature changing my original install date.Everyone was super friendly. The sales guy even found a better interest rate after the fact and let me know it would cost less. Can’t ask for better than that. I highly recommend SaveCal for windows!

I was fortunate enough to have SaveCal, Put on a roof that was energy efficient with a warranty a 50 years. My wife and I knew that our roof had a lifetime of five more years left but we were extremely fortunate enough to have it financed add an incredible interest-rate that we just could not pass up. My wife and I have had the great opportunity of dealing with John Real, Who has been instrumental in making sure that whatever issues we had from beginning to end were resolved. When John tells you that he’s going to take care of an issue he truly means it as if your house was his own. Although I do not know Jon personally, it’s very hard I’m sure to trust a person that is working for a company such as SaveCal, but for John he considers his customers as part of his own personal family. Every time I had an issue he made himself available once he got out of other customer appointments or meetings and replied instantly with a answer to my question or a solution to our problem. John is is not your typical contractor that works for a company and just says yes to everything but does not follow through, John is a person that does follow through and truly cares about his customers because he knows that he would not like to be treated in the same fashion. So if you are considering giving your business to a contractor as far as energy efficient Home improvements give John and his company SaveCal your business. Take it from me a person that has been taken by several other types of companies as well as contractors, I was very speculative about this company but realistically this company came through with flying colors especially John Real. It was a slow start of 3 weeks, but then theinstallation of HVAC and windows finally took place in one day each. Jobs were well done, and workers were very careful about my home cleanliness. Lanny called me almost every day with updates to the projects. Both he and Stephen have been working hard to get all projects completed before the end of July.Very unfortunately, they took until January 2019 to complete unfinished work. I spoke too soon regarding the above recommendation. I had great difficulty contacting them to finish work from August 2018 - January 2019. this all resulted in a small claims lawsuit of which I was awarded monetary compensation on 9-19-19. However, they reniged on the promise to pay, and have been dodging me for contact ever since. 4-29-20.

I was very unhappy with the first crew. They came in on thursday and left early. They had to bring more materials. They came back on saturday late. They got here at 10:30. They were playing around (hooping and hollering) they left for lunch and did not lock the house up. I was assured they would lock the house upon leaving. They did not secure my residence. When i returned after a half hour, angel and his nephew were already in the house which led me to believe they did not lock the house. I was upset, i confronted them about it and angel said we thought you meant the gate. I immediately called shamar and i text him because he did not pick up. Shamar text me back and said he was moving and was not able to help. There was very poor communication between all workers. I never saw shamar on my property. I informed shamar that they left my property open and shamar didnt take it seriously. I then text and called tait and i informed him that i was very upset that they did not lock the house up. I have valuables in my home that need to be protected. Angel and his nephew went through my tools in the basement and some are missing now. Tait notified me that there would be a new installation crew and project manager. I was also informed that the project manager would be on premsies the entire time during installation. I am very happy with the proffesionalism from the workers (wilsons crew) and the new project manager (nelson). The crew rectified issues that i was not happy with and went above my expectations to fix other concerns. Everyone was clean cut and in uniform. I now have working heat and air in my house. They should have sent the 2nd group 1st! The first contractor Angel & his nephew were sloppy & not in their uniform as when the second crew showed up. I was going to change my windows & hav the entire roof replaced but i believe Sears has a better deal. I will not hire SaveCal from Sun Valley to work on my property again. The person who came to my home to get the work started name is Tait. I was assured my residence would be secured, i was also assured the newer system would only take 2 days @ the most. The work took over 4 weeks.

We had a wonderful experience with SaveCal. They came to our home to give us a quote, and were so friendly helpful. We will be going with them for our HVAC when the time comes for sure!
