Me and my husband hired SB Construction for our kitchen and Bathroom Remodel in our condo .We interviewed three companies and we liked Ron and Omri that came to us. Ask a question regarding our needs and what we trying to accomplish in this project there were super professional, creative, and helpful with all the information we needed with comfortable to move forward with them.The project went great. The supervision was on spot. Ron and Omri work creative for any issues along the way.We love our new kitchen and bathroom they did very good job!We are definitely going to use them for our future project and recommend them to our friends and family.overall great experience !

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I found SB construction online and couldn’t be more happy with my choice to go with them.Ron came and provided us with an estimate within a week and we decided to move forward with them.They renovated our master and guest bathrooms, which only took them 2 months from start to finish.I’m already thinking about my future project and we will make sure to bring SB on board.Great experience. Would highly recommend!

Ron and his team are really great to work with! We hired them to do a partial kitchen remodel that expanded because we saved money in the process with him doing the 3D renders. Next year, another project and we'll use them again.

Ron, Omri and SB Construction are the most professional, kind, attentive, creative, and truly honorable contractors my wife and I have had the pleasure of working with after remodeling much of our house. They remodeled an entire first floor from delicate wall paper and rewiring a one hundred year old quirky Spanish colonial craftsman to doing a kitchen, knocking down numerous walls, building a bar, doing two bathrooms, creating a laundry room, and all of the painstaking nuances that go with a project of this scale.Ron and Omri were incredibly patient, going above and beyond at every turn ensuring that we were ecstatic with the results. Every person they employ and work with is professional, talented, communicative, and incredibly respectful.The project was completed in a timely fashion especially considering how many structural components they had to address when opening up walls and still ensuring our vision was met while enhancing the structural integrity and future of our house.Ron and Omri both have an incredible array of skills and specialties which enable them to give you real time amazing feedback while also grounding your decisions to ensure your designs are met. They had a fabulous rapport with our designer and we are beyond grateful for their tireless care, kindness, and elite professionalism. We hired Ron and SB Construction to renovate our backyard and side yard. At first everything was fine, Ron gave us a detailed quote and started on time. As work progressed however, we had nothing but problems working with this company. The subcontractors he hired had no idea what they were doing. They laid our pavers with too much of a slope so none of our outdoor furniture sat evenly. We had to fight with them to fix their work. He charged us over $1200 to repair the holes his electricians made in our stucco and then used interior paint on the exterior of our house so we now need to repaint everything. Our fire pit was installed at an angle and the pergola was the wrong color because no one from their company was here overseeing the job. The people who installed the turf never talked to us about pet-friendly turf options even though they were well aware we had dogs. They also never offered to install any type of odor eliminator so we had to do that ourselves. The biggest reason I decided to write this review is because the electricians SB Construction used could have burned down my house! They installed a heater that needed 250 volts with the incorrect equipment. We couldn't understand why the heater kept knocking out our breaker. Finally, I had to hire another electrician to come and fix their work. He told me the heaters wires inside my roof were all melted together and could have caused a fire! The project took much longer than expected because it was poorly managed. At the end we were extremely unhappy but we were so tired and frustrated from dealing with Ron that we would have done anything to get him off our property. Ron was very difficult to work with and hard to get in touch with unless it was time for a stage payment. We had to threaten to report him to the contractors board on more than one occasion just to get the job completed. Since the project was finished we have had to spend over $9000 just to fix their work. Do not work with SB Construction!

I have continually asked SB Construction to stop posting pictures of my home for advertising purposes, and they refuse to do so. This is why I feel the need to share my experience… the pictures they post do not reflect the quality of their work. There are multiple problems the contractor committed to fixing, and while blatantly ignoring my texts, he continues to post. It’s tacky and unprofessional.The dishonesty in saying this was a full home remodel is also incredibly frustrating. This remodel was supposed to be for my entire home. We agreed to start on the top floor with a 6 week time frame and then move onto the second floor. Well that 6 week time period turned into an entire year and I refused to move forward with this company for the remainder of my home. It was a horrific experience and the aftermath of the low quality work continues to haunt me a year and a half later. I have had to fix multiple issues and have spent thousands redoing their subpar work… yet the company continues to post the pictures.The pictures you cannot see are the walls left opened underneath the sinks… the leaks from the brand new sliding doors after every single rain… the damaged baseboards and flooring (both brand new) because of the nonstop leaks… the freshly painted walls bubbling up because the painters did not use the proper primer… the electrical issues that required walls to be reopened to assure that the live wires were no longer a safety concern… the dents and chips over all of my “custom wood cabinets and niche” that turned out to be MDF and not wood (as discussed). The list goes on and on. So many lies and so many mistakes turned this 6 week project into an entire year of frustration and lost money.There was also a constant turnover of subcontractors. To cover up that they had actually quit, the contractor would blame me. I maintained relationships with several of them who have helped me with my issues post remodel now that they are no longer working with Ron and his team. The original carpenter let me know that Ron specifically asked him to use the cheapest material and that is why they went with MDF vs wood. The carpenter that replaced him also told me Ron asked him to do the same. The subcontractors constantly complained about the lack of communication and would bad mouth the team whenever they were in my home.Because of the constant turnover due to the subs always quitting… because of the lack of attention to detail due to working on too many projects at once… because of the dishonesty and low quality work that was a constant theme throughout the project, I would feel guilty not sharing my honest feedback. When I saw someone else recently experienced the same nightmare, I felt bad for not sharing my experience sooner. If this review just helps one person not go through what I had to go through, then I feel obligated to share an authentic review.
