Had an amazing time at Whitewater Excitement for ab overnight company outing. The river rafting was awesome and our group of 6 rafts had a great time and our instructor was amazing. The lunch, diner and breakfast the next morning were fantastic and the staff did an awesome job. The camping experience for us as a group was a great time and we were camped right next to the river. Overall the staff did a fantastic job and I highly recommend Whitewater Excitement as your company of choice either for a day rafting trip or a rafting experience with the overnight camping as well!

We had a great time. I brought the whole family and we are already planning our next trip. The staff is excellent, friendly and professional. Perfect for birthdays, bachelor parties or for a quick getaway. The campsite was picturesque. The food was perfect. Compliments to the chef and our guides.

Best rafting company on the river, hands down. Amazing accommodations for campers and RV's, the kitchen staff makes great food, and the guides are cheerful and love to talk. If you want to go rafting on any fork of the American River, Whitewater Excitement is the only option.

Amazing trip on the Middle Fork of the American River. Very well organised. We phoned from the UK and all was arranged by phone. Stayed two nights on their amazing campsite, right on the river. Most beautiful spot imaginable. Transfer by minivan to the Middle Fork in the morning, followed by an incredible rafting experience. Gorgeous lunch spread with fresh fruit and cold drinks half-way. Guides are very experienced and we felt very safe during our trip. Can highly recommend. Hope to be back one day.

I worked for this company for the summer along side my wife. We had a few opportunities to hit the river and raft south and middle fork. I can honestly say this company is so thorough. They take just a ordinary rafting trip and turn it into something special. The owners take pride in the business they built and you will see this is true the second you arrive. We had an amazing time on the south fork of the American River! Our guide, Jill, was fantastic! We even rescued 3 people after a flip on a rapid. The whole experience was incredible. The guides were familiar with the rapids and each boat looked out for the next; so, if your worried about flipping, be assured you’re in good hands with experience that comes with this company! This was my 6th time rafting with them, and I will keep bringing my friends back for more!

This is our second trip with Whitewater Excitement. We did the young rafters 3 years ago and had an amazing experience so we decided to do a 2 day rafting trip since the kids are older now. We had a group of 11 and we camped Friday through Sunday. Katie, our tour guide was adorable and knowledgeable and just really friendly! The food provided is really good and plentiful! We will definitely be back in a few years when the kids hit the next age requirement of 12!

Our trip consisted of 11 people in 2 rafts. Our guides were Drew & Phillip. They were awesome. This was our second rafting trip with WhiteWater Excitement. You guys and gals ROCK! You are the best! And the deli lunch is great! We will be back next year to brave the Middle Fork!

Oh Wow!!! This was the most fun I've had in my entire life!!! We were a group of four 60ish somethings and chose the 'adventurous first-timer' as our descriptor. We did a two day trip with the Lower South Fork on the first day and the Middle Fork on the second. We tented in their beautiful campground right on the river and they really took care of us. Good showers and bathrooms and Excellent Food. Compliments to the chefs. Our guides, Nate, Philip and Bryce were so much fun and made you feel like friends. They also knew their stuff and knew their river. We were in great hands. Thrilling rapids, peaceful ponds, magnificent canyon, and some pretty cute otters. We are already planning next year's trip! If you are wavering because of cost, know that this experience is worth every penny and more. And if you are wavering because of fear...just take the plunge and do it!

Our group of 20 had an amazing time with WWE! Friendly and experienced guides ensured we were well taken care! From the amazing facilities to the more importantly safe rafting tours…we had a blast. Food and service was amazing! Camping along the beautiful American River was also an unexpected surprise. Highly recommend them to all looking for a memorable white water rafting trip. Our guides, the chef, the food, the safety precautions, the tents, the transportation, the bathrooms, the cleanliness...the list goes on and on of all the things that were amazing. We booked a family raft trip with WWE for my Sister's birthday. The trip included lunch. They are really professional and gave perfectly clear directions to the launch site. My family took up 2 boats and our guide is Alex and she is awesome. She is super fun and rescued me when I fell out of the raft. She is so petite so I thought she will never be able to pull me back in, but man she grabbed hold of me and pulled me right in. WOW!!!Lunch was delicious and love fresh fruit after a morning in the sun. The entire trip was soooo fun and we had a blast. Highly recommend WWE. You won't regret it.

We had a blast! The Middle Fork was the perfect mix of thrill and scenery and our guide Isaiah was knowledgeable, skillful, and fun while also making us all feel safe. The food was absolutely amazing!!! 10/10 rafting was great as well but the food especially was the highlight of my trip. Chef JJ and Sous Chef Sheryl were amazingly friendly and made phenomenal meals for us. A wise man once said “if you don’t eat well while camping, you won’t enjoy camping” and he was right as the food legitimately made the trip for me. And the rafting was excellent too.

Our group had an amazing time ! Charli was our guide and she was the coolest guide ever! She went along with our sarcastic sense of humor and when we go back for for an intermediate trip we will gladly request her!!! It was an amazing day trip, satans cesspool being our favorite and we also bought the pictures!! All in all 10/10 amazing time for our dads birthday trip and well worth every penny!! Can’t wait to come back. Booking was easy and everything went really smoothly no hiccups in paper work or during the rafting itself.

Dont miss an amazing trip in the Sierras. Hit several class 3 and 4s. Guides made us feel very safe the plus were fun and knowledgeable. The camping and food was all very accommodating. Exhilarating experience, on time departure and a great guide who coached us along the way. We experienced some class 2 and 3 rapids. Overall great experience and will come back again. At the end they offered chocolates and sodas. The photos came out very good.

Our trip down the south fork was awesome! Our group of 15 teenage boys loved it (the adults had a pretty great time too!)! Katie was an absolute PRO guide. Food was great as well...big breakfasts, smoked tri tip for dinner...overall great outfitter

Definitely adventurous and the rapids were rapiding lol it’s also out of this world beauty and views that can only be appreciated from the water. Charlie & Drew were amazing and I had a lot of fun despite being very apprehensive. Drew was very clear with his instructions making sure we were safe at all times. Two days into our 3-day stay with Whitewater Excitement, this is an easy five stars. The guides are fantastic, the food is excellent (thanks, JJ and Sheryl!), and the camp is really great (nice eating area, good bathrooms and showers, good campsites right next to the river). Organized a 2 day trip for boys scouts and we had a GREAT time. The staff was friendly, helpful, and flexible with our group. The camping grounds were well kept, clean, and beautiful. The food by Chef Val was delicious and filling. We were always full and happy. In addition, the whitewater rafting guides we're fun and the trip was amazing. Thanks for a great experience.
