My wife and I engaged Nabor Alvarado in July 2021 to do a complete renovation of the kitchen and main bath as well as some minor projects in our newly purchased house in Marina. From our very first conversation, Nabor listened to what we wanted and when we needed it. It was our intention not to occupy the house until construction was complete. Together we developed a timeline and a scope of work.Throughout the project we were consistently impressed with his competence and professionalism. Despite being in the throes of the pandemic induced supply chain disruption, he and his crew proved to be very adaptable to changes in the schedule. Whenever there was a question about exactly how we wanted something finished, he immediately contacted us for clarification. His coordination with subcontractors never left us waiting for something to be done before other work could proceed. For example, when our cabinets were ready for the stone countertops, he managed to get the installer to make the template and complete the installation in one week. We have done other renovations involving stone work and had never before gotten that quick a response.We were completely satisfied with the work. Nabor and his team were amazing to work with, and we couldn't be happier with the results. They completed a number of smaller jobs around the house (e.g., shelves above the washer/dryer and in the linen closet) and also did a few things outside like reinforcing our deck and helping us put together a storage shed. All of the work was high quality and completed in a timely manner. The reason we will absolutely work with Nabor and his team again in the future is the care with which they put together a custom bookshelf in our den. We showed him a few pictures as inspiration, and they worked as artists in a space with high ceilings and tricky walls, creating the bookshelf of our dreams. The cost estimates were very fair, and he stayed on budget. We will absolutely reach out to Nabor and his team again when we consider additional construction projects. Thank you!

I recently hired N Alvarado to do some work. The quality of the work performed was excellent, they are reliable, and communications were very good. Although I hired them for an unrelated matter, Nabor Alvarado detected a dangerous gas leak that had previously gone undetected even though I had a recent inspection. Nabor and his company replaced 400’ of fencing for me in Carmel Valley. He was prompt and very responsive to any questions that I had. They started the work two days after signing the contract and were done quickly within 4 days as he estimated they would.
