This is by far the worst company ever in my entire life. I am upset by their behavior in their work. And cannot believe they would leave a house unfinished the way that they did no wonder why they have a 2.9 rating if I would’ve known this sooner, I wouldn’t have let them at my house, but unfortunately, like most of you I rent through invitation homesLike who put brand new beautiful windows into a house and every single one of them are crooked and cockeyed and didn’t even finish off the trim and just left as isSuper frustrating 😣

These guys are terrible! They were hired by my landlord Invitation Homes, to remove an unpermitted balcony and the master bedroom sliding glass door and put a window in its place. They have been doing it for over two months! They come one day a week and sometimes only for a few minutes and do nothing but maybe drop off materials. They didn’t flash around the window, so the city inspector told them to remove the paper and wire to put the flashing on, then put the paper and wire back for stucco. Instead the kid that came out the flashing on over the wire and paper. The inspector came back and told him again the flashing goes underneath. They sent another guy that banged around and did nothing. Inspector came back and they weren’t even here, he asks me, what did they do, because they had apparently done nothing. Now today the kid is back and he removed the flashing, but left the paper and the wire up. Maybe they think they can get it passed without the flashing, I don’t know. The inspector flat out said this should have been a one week job that they have dragged on for two months now. Their finish work inside on the drywall and window casing looks horrible. It needs another coat of paint, but apparently they are done with the inside. If this were my house I would have fired them weeks ago, I’d never hired them, considering the reviews!Update on the outside work, here is how they left the job site today! Using my personal hose laying out on a muddy walkway when I had it nicely rolled up on my hose cart! Also, they got stucco EVERYWHERE and didn’t clean it up! They are pigs! They left stucco all along the ledge over the kitchen sliding door, so that probably won’t be coming off easily, wonder how they plan on fixing that?! Some of their guys are very nice, and others are total jerks and clean up nothing!!!!! You never know who they will be sending to you!!!

Lakeside ConstructionThey came out to do a Drywall, replacement and remove and replace Carpet. This has been a Wonderful Experience for me. They explain what they where doing and did exactly that. We explained to the technician over the phone the issue we were having with our hot water heater and he came out the next day with the part needed to repair the problem. Lakeside was the absolute best choice I could have made for my home after my water heater broke and flooded my entire place. Shane was quick to arrive and inspect our home. His company had previously performed the home inspection before we purchased it and furnished a prover list for repairs. We had a joke in part of the roof that leaked, electrical that didn’t work, and a fireplace that didn’t work. Shane inspected and gave us a quote that we accepted.First scheduled day, cancelled due to rain. Didn’t even attempt the indoor work. 2 weeks later, same thing. 2 weeks later, can’t come out due to employees having COVID. Anthony, they’re scheduler and Shane in contact with me the whole time to reschedule.Finally, 1st guy comes out on good weather day. Looks at electrical issue, can’t figure it out. He calls for an electrician to look later that day. He didn’t even attempt the indoor work. Electrician comes out and decides he can fix it but doesn’t have enough time. We schedule a date for the following week.Next week, cancelled by Frank the scheduler. He asks for dates. I tell him Wednesday or Friday the next week. He says he will look and get back to me.By Tuesday the following week, I have no communication and no one answering me attempts to reach out. I find another contractor for the roof. Unannounced Wednesday morning at 7 am, the electrician shows up. By this point, we had already made plans for the day. He apologizes and promises to be back Friday morning. He says he will be doing all 3 projects. I inform him that the roof has been reassigned. He acknowledges and again says he will be back Friday.Friday, no-show. Since that time, I can’t get a reply from anyone at Lakeside, not Shane, Frank, or Anthony. Not by email, phone, text, anything. Completely unprofessional and useless.Do not use this group. UPDATE If you are renting through Invitation homes please read!I just found out that as a renter we have the right to request NOT to use lakeside or any invitation homes contactor. When you submit you work order. Just ask that they send someone besides lakeside. The lady I spoke with from invitation homes said "we are trying to find what bad contactors we have so simply request to not have the bad contactor onsite"Awful company. They have "repaired" our roof 5 times. We are at the mercy of Invitation homes, our property management company. The continually use lakeside and they do the worst work. They have said our roof is fixed and then the roof leaks in the exact same place. It has now taken them almost 6 months to complete the current repairs needed in out house.Lake side also did drywall and plumbing work. The plumbing work was fine. No issues. but their drywallers were just awful. you can definitely tell where the patched are in our house. They didn't even buy the correct paint color to match our wall so now there are giant squares of dark paint were they did their patches.The also left drywall dust on EVERY square inch of our house . We spent weeks cleaning, vacuuming, and dusting our house from top to bottom. This was after they told us a cleaning crew would come in. nobody ever showed upOne guy showed up at 8 am. unloaded his ladder into our front yar and drove away. The end of October (10/26/2020) we had very strong winds that blew down the fence between our house and our neighbors. Lakeside Contractors was contacted by our neighbors landlord, Invitation Homes.It took two weeks for Lakeside Contractors to come out and give an estimate. It took an additional MONTH for them to come out and actually START the project (started on 12/20/2020).We had been told the worker would be here from 9-1p. He was indeed here for that time. But less than a 1/3 of the fence was done. We were told the next appointment slot would be worked out with our neighbors (which was fine). The worker came to our door, said his boss told him to collect our portion. He was paid.A week later, a different worker showed up and completed some work on the fence, making the fence 1/2 done. This worker came to our door and asked to be paid as his boss told him to collect payment. He didn't believe me when I told him I'd paid the previous worker.The next time a worker came, they did not come until close to 4:00pm in the afternoon and only worked for an hour as it was getting dark. He was able to get the boards across the top of the completed fence done. That was it.It took two more work days before the fence was complete. The final work was done on 1/15/2021.Three different people came to work on the fence.It took almost a month to rebuild a 72 foot fence, almost 3 months after it fell down.I would not recommend this contractor.

DON'T even think of using this Company. They were Hired to install a new fence in my back yard. The end result was broken dog ears, and a crooked Fence. I called Tony (the owner) told him I was very dissatisfied with the work. I called Anthony (project Manager) and left messages. These guys don't answer their phones EVER. Anthony finally got back to me, sent 1 guy out to replace broken dog ears. I asked him about the warped and crooked part. He said Anthony said don't do it. WOW !!!! Trust me people don't use this company for anything.....run !!!!!

They came to fix my door and door frame. They cut the new door wrong and there was a 1/4 inch gap at the top. They rigged some weather stripping to fix the gap issue. They hung the door still wet from the stain. They also left stain marks on my floors/walls/door hardware. My electric deadbolt lock will not fully lock without pulling the door firmly. It even takes a few times if you don’t pull it hard enough. Oh they also thought it would be a good idea to take a chisel and hammer to the steel plate to try and make it work. The worst thing they did. WHILE MY KIDS WERE WATCHING A MOVIE IN THE LIVING ROOM, WIFE WAS COOKING, I CAME IN FROM THE BACK YARD AND SEEN CLOUDS OF MIST COMMING THOUGH MY FRONT DOOR AND WINDOWS IN THE LIVING ROOM WHERE MY KIDS WERE. THE GUY WAS SPRAYING POLYURETHANE ON THE DOOR INSIDE MY HOUSE. I IMMEDIATELY TOLD MY KIDS TO GET UP STAIRS AND ASKED THE GUY, “ WHAT ARE YOU THINKING???!!!” TOLD HIM TO TAKE THE DOOR OFF AND SPRAY IT OUTSIDE. I CHECKED ON MY KIDS UP STAIRS. THEY TOLD ME THEY FELT DIZZY. I COME BACK DOWN STAIRS AND THE DUDE STILL WAS SPRAYING POLYURETHANE ALL INSIDE MY HOUSE. IM HERE NOW 9pm AT NIGHT WITH 2 24 inch CAN INDUSTRIAL FANS THAT I JUST GOT FROM HOME DEPOT CURCULATING AIR TO GET THE SMELL AND FUMES OUT. These guys cut corners. Big time. It takes 2 min to take a door off the hinges. Ohhh. And I forgot to add. They only sanded the new door before staining and didn’t even sand the door frame and side panel were they applied the stain to match. It’s not soaking into the wood and I’ve been wiping that mess up. Amateurs. Oh and that guy Tony. Don’t expect him to call you back. My landlord booked these guys. They came out once and couldn’t do the job. Then Tony said he would call me back with when they would come out. Never called. Also I called left voicemails, no response. Oh and won’t answer my calls but will answer invitation homes maintenance department. These guys are jokes and just want to rig the job as quick as possible and leave. So much for my Saturday with the family.

Run run! Do not use this company. They sent a young person out to give me an estimate. He promised I would have the info by the end of the day or the next morning, nothing. Came! I called and left a message and my call was not returned. Bad business. I found a review of someone else and the other person stated the owner was rude! So thankful they didn’t start my work!!!!

I used to work here and let me start off by saying this is not the company to go with, these guys will rip off their customers trying to get jobs done in a hurry while messing things up along they way then will not take credablility for their mistakes, the owner Tony is a terrible project manager and complete rip off. Once again beware of these false contractors bunch of stoners and druggies who work here.
