Very pleasant experience working with the folks at Paul’s Drapery! I just moved to Pacific Grove and needed to cover all the windows in the house, with a preference for shades. After doing some research on options in the area, I settled on Paul’s and arranged to visit their shop. Sherry greeted us with real enthusiasm and walked us through several creative and interesting options. She talked through our aesthetic preferences and helped us make decisions for each room. Bryan in the back office was equally engaging and easy to work with and ultimately was the contact person as we waited for our multiple shades to come in. Larry came to the house to measure and was super focused and very detailed as he verified the specifics of the shades we wanted for each window. When he left, he informed us on the timeline for the order and manufacture of our custom shades. The items arrived within the anticipated timeframe and Bryan was quick to let us know and offer some options for the install. Larry and his installation team were on time, super professional, very engaged, and very respectful of their time in the house (since they had to be in every room of the house). In summary, VERY pleased with the entire process and outcome!

Wow!!! The co-owner of Paul’s Drapery just hung our new custom drapes…gorgeous!!! Larry and his wife Sherry are longtime owners of this family business in Pacific Grove tucked away in an unassuming little old PG converted home on a side street. But, inside the business carries and handles a vast array of draperies, blinds and every other conceivable window treatment all custom made to order. I was referred to Paul’s when I purchased a recliner at Mum’s Place furniture, also in PG. They told me they send everyone to Paul’s—and no wonder.So pleasant to work with both Sherry and Larry to find the perfect solution for our home. And, our drapes arrived in record time, only a month. And Larry put them up with care. I won’t think of going anywhere else when I redo the rest of our windows.I can’t recommend this business any more highly than to say they are exceptional in every way!!!

As the owner of a small business in the community in which I was raised, I take great pride in attempting to use local companies to support our needs.I was reminded that the blinds in our reception area needed repair and possible replacement by a nice ad on the radio, where they clearly stated the phone number and called. My appointment would not be able to be attended to for two weeks, which was okay but then abruptly I was told, " If I have to come out there its $85 dollars" where I asked is this just to look at it or once repaired, a minimum of $85 which is understandable and was told, " its $85 to look at it". Are we really at the day and age that an estimate, to connect, embrace, encourage into a business relationship engaging in future loyalty and orders, is truly killed at the phone?In my business, we provide a service as well -- but we provide complimentary services for those who wish to meet and greet, meet our team, and insure they are choosing a great place. With our vendors, we never underpay, or miss a payment but we do, require a meeting to see what our costs will be, and determine if the vendor fits our needs for future needs as well.I encourage Paul's Drapery to consider doing the same if they wish to engage in new clients. If not, then why advertise?
