We are super impressed! Two years ago we had our solar installed. It was February 2022 and we were new to everything solar. I have absolutely no regrets. Our system produces enough energy for us to use our air-conditioning and charge an electric car. The installation was professional and was done right the first time. I have been thinking about solar for years. I finally crunched the numbers and it made sense. I got several bids, then ran into a problem. I had a Decra metal roof and it is difficult, if not impossible to install solar on top of it. A.M. Solar has a roofing partner that helped us find a solution when nobody else would. I not only got a new roof but enjoyed the tax credit for the roof and the solar. We just powered up and everything looks fantastic. I can't thank the team at AM solar enough. We had the work done while we were traveling and the communication was spot on. Our first EV has been ordered!

We recently had a solar system installed on our home by A.M. Sun Solar. The salesman was respectful and followed through with our nit-picky requests.The design team did what we asked.The install team was great and followed through with our plans and the design as requested.They were on schedule throughout the process.Everything was explained well throughout the project!I considered Tesla and SunRun for a variety of reasons, but in the end I chose A.M. Sun Solar and I am happy I did!! Their customer service, equipment and being a local company all solidify my decision to go with A.M. Sun Solar.

I wish I could give a higher review. Very nice staff. But if you want the job done right, pick a different company. We chose AM Sun Solar was because it’s a local company that told us they monitor our usage and make sure all of the panels are operating as they should. 20 months later, we discovered they made a mistake that caused us to pay over a thousand dollars in extra electricity charges. When they finally realized it, they promptly fixed the mistake but cut us a check for only a small fraction of the cost of the extra charges.

I have been very happy with my A.M Sun Solar installation since 2019. I was just told "we no longer actively monitor systems as a courtesy". My system was not producing for 7 weeks during peak summer months due to a faulty inverter. That equates to only 25% production during my peak production months.A.M. Sun actually knocked on my front door and notified me of the issue and replaced the inverter under warranty. This most likely saved me hundreds of dollars at true up. Thank you A.M Sun Team.

The gentleman with A.M. Sun Solar have been working at my job site. I can not express my gratitude to Smith, Danny, Mikey, Collin, Mike and Darryl. These hard working gentleman make sure to sign in everyday, they use their codes to enter and exit, they are very respectful and asked if we had a designated smoking area; when I said there was no smoking on facility, they gladly went off site to smoke by the street, and they still took their cigarette butts with them over throwing them on the ground, they clean up all their trash before they leave and we have even witnessed them picking up trash that blows by them. I cannot express how grateful I am for the level of professionalism and integrity they show for their jobs and the facility. They hold themselves to a standard that should not be the exception but the rule!

Dishonest, to say the very least. This has been an absolutely terrible experience. DO NOT TRUST their sales reps.EDIT: after multiple back and forth emails with one of the owners of this company, it is clear that they prefer PROFIT over people. I had 2 simple requests, because we feel completely swindled by the company.1. Split the remainder of the balance of the loan with us.2. Ask potential clients BEFORE locking them into a sale “is this your forever home?”The owner responded by regurgitating the benefits of solar. (Once a sales man, always a sale man, amiright?) and calling me a bad person for posting a negative review.So yeah, do not trust this company when there are so many other solar companies to choose from.

Loved working with them. We initially had bids from Costco(SunRun), sunPower(who helped with a previous house) and AM solar. We appreciated that the rep from AM Solar, Matt, really listened to us and helped us find the right system without trying to oversell us or talk down to us. He talked us through the whole process, and kept in touch all the way through install. The paperwork and permitting process was a snap, and their team at the office were amazingly proactive with the communication, which we appreciated. (Thanks again Jody!) The team who did our install were Tate and Shane. If you’re lucky enough to get them you’ll be happy. They worked incredibly hard, and were simply the nicest people to have at our house for the days it took to rig up our system. Quality work with a smile. Would definitely recommend AM solar from start to finish.

Very happy with the work A.M. Sun Solar did in adding 10 panels to my home. The quality of the product and workmanship was excellent as far as I can tell (just a homeowner here). The professionalism of the staff showed through in every interaction. The team was very responsive and certainly concerned that the end-product work to its maximum potential. This included being open to a creative placement of panels and successfully tracing and fixing an initial slight under-performance on the part of the equipment.I highly recommend A.M. All the Guys that worked on my solar project were very courteous. They cleaned up every day and never left a mess. All applications and paperwork were filled out and filed for me, I just needed to sign. The project was finished in a timely manner. My first 2 electric bills were under $5 and after 9 months I have a credit. Was a good decision to go solar and very happy with Sun Solar.

We interviewed 5 different solar companies for our bid. We ended up going with A.M. Sun Solar because they answered our questions without requiring us to commit to their contract first. They were all close on their bids (except for Tesla....sorry) but AM Solar made it clear we could use our current main box without having to replace it with the system we were choosing. That alone saved us about $2700.00. We have had the system for about 2 years now and are completely satisfied with it! In fact, we are looking in to adding a couple more panels soon.

Hi if you have Spanish tile roof DO NOT GET SOLAR NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY. You will get pigeons and a fat pest control bill in the high thousands. Offset the whole reason why we went solar and the company does not tell you before hand, which I felt was extremely negligent considering all the experience they boast about. I wish we could get rid of the solar I would have never gotten it. They,should change the hold recording but they don't live up to what they claim.

Everything went well as per plan, even got a faster completed timeline due to a cancellation. From time of start to finish all went very smooth. Did some research prior to choosing AM and got other quotes, AM was slightly more in cost than some, but the equipment they use was far superior to other companies products and they took care of all paperwork, permits, etc. very timely!! We were very satisfied with everything from start to finish with AM Sun Solar! Could not ask for a better experience.......

Absolutely DO NO RECOMMEND!Buyer BEWARE!! AM Sun Solar PROMISED that the loan was assumable to a new buyer of the home. IT IS NOT!This company did not back what the salesperson promised. It cost us over 30k in escrow to payoff the loan!! The Director of Sales refused to work with us and said "oh well it was an honest mistake". Do your research!! AVOID THIS COMPANY!In response to the owners message: That certainly wasn't my experience. I came to your VP asking for assistance. I received none.

I initiated my solar project with A.M. Sun Solar at the very beginning of October 2019. My panels were installed and grid activated on 9 January 2020, almost exactly three months, which is precisely how quick it was estimated to take. Slightly disappointed that it didn't happen before the end of the year but with the rush to install panels and take advantage of expiring tax benefits and my own delay in initiating the project, totally understandable.I went with AM Solar after also getting a bid from Sun Run primarily because the panels they built my quote around were American made (primarily) and the staff was more responsive to my myriad stupid questions. The pricing difference was negligible, as were the warranties. I also appreciate that AM is a local company.Stephanie Babin, the sales consultant who I dealt with most, was outstanding. She was very knowledgeable and responded quickly throughout the process. The installers were extremely professional and did an outstanding job. The panels took two days to install on the roof and they effectively hid the system by running the electrical through the attic. The only external impact on my house, outside of the panels, is a narrow conduit from an attic vent directly down to the PGE meter on the side of my house. They even color matched the conduit to make it extremely unobtrusive.I will update my review in a years time to shed light on the systems performance but I am pleased so far despite the usual lackluster solar intensity of January. At this point I have nothing but positive things to say about AM Solar and I would recommend them without reservation to friends and family. Great experience.

An Amazing experience, we did the solar along with the new roof we had to replace due to major leaks, AM solar were quick to respond to our inquiry and came and did a in home presentation fully prepared with documents to compare current utility cost and answered our many questions. All the staff are friendly and responded to our questions quickly as the project went forward. With covid 19 there were some slight delays (expected with the restrictions put in place by our governor) but the project after electrical improvements the system was installed in 3 days, after the Permission to Operate was given the unit was on and producing power. The monitoring can be viewed on any PC or phone to track the operation of the unit. Another nice point of this installation the data will be gathered for the next 10 weeks then a review done to see if the unit is producing up to build spec's. Thank AM solar is was easy and no stress and its payback is quick.

Prior to getting my solar put on, I had to replace my roof. The job took place during some pretty windy days, and a lot of debris was flying around. When it was time to put the solar panels in place, the guys took the time to clean up after the roofers.A.M. Sun Solar was always professional and communicating daily about the progress of the project, and what to expect. Once installation was complete, my property was cleaned, the operation of the panels was explained to me patiently and all of my questions were ansered.I highly recommend A.M.
