They will even work with your insurance company to make everything goes so smooth for a fantastic easy outcome. They cleaned everything up leaving my Home looking beautiful. Above Board Construction replaced my 28 year old roof. Roof looks great!!!! Appears materials used where good quality. Hasnt been weather tested yet but I dont doubt it will with stand any storm.All the Employees from the owner to the roofers where always available and very responsive to questions and responding immediately to things I wanted checked.Work was accomplished within the price quoted. I recommend giving them a call and talking with them if your have any questions about your roof or are looking to get repairs or a roof replacement.

I had a tree fall on my roof last August. I called Above Board Construction as they came highly rated on Google and through friends. My 1st meeting, they indicated they would help fight my insurance as my insurance indicated they would only pay for a roof repair while Above Board indicated I needed a full roof replacement. After months of me leaving messages with the employee assigned to me asking for updates I finally received a call back from the Owner who indicated he would personally be handling my roof repair and that he would have an email to me within a week that I could send to my insurance indicating why I needed a full roof repair. That was almost 6 months ago. I have tried calling multiple times asking to speak with the owner, always receiving the same message, that he was in a meeting and would call me back. After almost a year of giving the benefit of the doubt and understanding they are busy, I have given up and will be working with a different roofing company to get my roof replaced. I have given 1 star based solely of their customer support or lack thereof.

We have hail damage to our roof. Our insurance company denied our claim. We had contacted many roofing companies whom gave us an estimate, but we never physically saw them measure or inspect our roof. After talking with many neighbors around us and seeing all the new roofs in our neighborhood their insurance covered, we were very frustrated. Then we noticed our neighbor to the south of us having Above Board Construction inspecting their roof. They have the same insurance company as we do and they were getting their roof replaced. That is when I called them and they were out almost the next day inspecting our roof and confirming Yes we do have damage that should be covered. Then they were our when the second insurance adjuster was here. Talk about customer Service! They went above and beyond working with our insurance company on our claim. We have great confidence and have heard many good reviews and happy customers. We are so looking forward to getting out new roof installed.

Above Board Construction has done a great job on replacing our roof. I wanted to say that Angel Gotay has provided us with excellent customer service during the replacement of our roof. He met with us after hours to go over everything with us in detail and has come out to verify that the job was done right. There are some minor items that still need to be addressed due to the workers not taking the time to do a couple finishing touches right, but the owner Carl and Angel have assured me that they will be corrected. I also had a couple of discussions with Carl during the job, and he was very responsive and addressed the concerns I raised. I appreciate the customer service we received and meeting with Angel initially is really why we chose ABC over other contractors to do our roof replacement. Thanks - Andrew

ABC came highly recommended, but I am struggling to figure out why. Signed the contract with a start date scheduled 3 months later. They finally started on the roof 7 months after I signed the contract and only after I asked for my money back so I could go elsewhere.Took them a month to get a final inspection approved. Two months later I am still picking up nails, roofing material and other refuse left behind by their install crews. Praying that the actual work on the roof is better than their clean up.While their office staff was friendly and helpful, their scheduler/estimator(?) was rude and hard to get ahold of. They also tried to make me pay more than the contract called for, repeatedly.Will not be recommending.Service: Roof installation

The sales rep was responsive and knowledgable however the main office that handles scheduling and install is impossible to get in contact with. Panels were installed on oct 19th. There was almost no communication when they were going to show up. I was told they would be there on the 18th but no one showed up. I was then told the 19th but no real window for when they would show up. They arrived at my house and I only knew about it due to my secuirty system alerting me. They completed the install quickly however they finished around 8pm and when I went out the next day I found zip ties, screws, and various other leftover pieces strewn about. I also purchased a new breaker panel however I have had no contact about estimated time for that or when I will get my system connected. I reached out to sales rep but he seems to be getting the same response I have had and that is no response at all. I have called their office many times and have only ever gotten the voicemail. I have friends who purchased solar at the same time from another installer and they are already setup and generating power. I know they are very busy but without communication I am sitting here frustrated and attempting to get someones attention by writing this review.

My old roof suffered significant hail damage from the big storm that blew through over a year ago. After going round and round between my insurance company and another roofer, I finally found the folks at Above Board Construction. We worked with Angel through the entire process, which was smooth and easy! The crew showed up when they were supposed to and worked quickly and thoroughly to get the job done. This company is on the bandwagon with all the hail claims.Getting your money fast and performing substandard work with removal and installation.I had my roof replaced because of hail. The only time i heard from someone was when they wanted to know when they were getting paid. i had to continually call in to ask when installs were happening. I was continually pushed back from my initial install date.My new roof leaks!When you call and inform them, they show up to stop gap the issue. Then tell you they will return and they never do. Three weeks i have tried to get them out. Each time they promise to show to repair the issue.Every-time no one shows.There is ZERO communication from the agents.When i visited their office there were two people yelling from the office. With out regard a customer was in the building.The customer service is so poor, when the last time i called in they made excuses instead of owning up to the failed installation, and failed followup to rectify their neglect in workmanship and customer service.I do not recommend this company or it's people.

I thought they did a wonderful job. The contact person I had was Angel Gotay, who was very communicative and transparent with me and always returned my call.It took awhile to get the job done, but that was probably more caused by supply issues due to the COVID lockdown and the fact that they are in demand for doing great work.I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a quality roof installation.Service: Roof installation
