This past Saturday, we were sold the idea of a DaBella roof with solar shingles which in the moment sounded great, but after hearing the extremely high price, we began to question the integrity of the whole situation. Their first offer was extremely high and not something we would have even considered, but then they seemed to “pull a bunch of strings” and lowered the price down significantly. Super amazing sales move, I was impressed lol. When we called our trustworthy home lender and friend, he strongly advised us to NOT go through with it. When we told him what they quoted us, he said it was by far the highest amount that he had ever heard of someone being quoted for a roof; solar included. No hard feelings to the salesmen, they clearly do their job very well and we know it’s all business and not personal. I wanted to write this review because their amazing reviews are what had us so convinced in the first place, so I figured an honest review could save the next homeowner a ton of time. After our experience and hearing what we heard from our extremely trustworthy home lender, I would highly advise not going through DaBella for any roofing projects. Hope this helps the next person!!

Joseph and Zach came to my house. They were the best salesman I have ever seen. They went into exact detail about what they were going to do. No deceiving. No lying. Felt like I was talking to one of my friends instead of someone trying to push something down my throat. They gave us all the best information we need to move forward on this project. We will be reaching out to our accountant to see if it is within our budget to do. Clean cut gentleman. Didn’t smoke on my property. Respected our house and our time. We went through the process before with someone previously with someone else and ended up no going through with it. But they helped us get it to where it was comfortable payments. This past weekend my wife and I hosted a couple of DaBella salesmen after a door to door rep offered us a free inspection and quote. Honestly, the inspection wasn't even necessary. We both knew our roof is in incredibly bad shape it needed to get replaced when we bought our house about 9 months ago. The salesmen seemed very knowledgeable, were friendly, and all in all great salesmen and relatable guys. They're good at their jobs and know how to sell.Long story short, they initially had quoted our new roof with the solar shingles for over $90k, which my wife and I laughed at. After they were able to "pull some strings" and "renegotiate with their supervisor" they then offered the roof for SUBSTIANTELY less. Honestly, my wife and I should've seen the first red flag of how a roof could possibly decrease in price by how much it did (brilliant sales tactic). We then initially agreed to go through with the offer.After a day or two we both felt uneasy about the whole thing, mainly how much we were going to pay after hearing an earlier bid (without the bells and whistles, I will say) for more than less than half of the price we agreed with DaBella. We contacted our home lender who we trust with our financial lives, and has absolutely no financial incentive to help us when we reach out, and he said the price we agreed on was easily the highest price for a roof he's ever heard of... by a lot. We then decided to cancel our agreement before we signed the loan docs.When we tried to cancel, we were pushed and pushed and pushed and pushed and pushed some more by the GM Scott to try and keep the deal but we wanted to back out entirely (usually when you want to cancel a product with a legit company they're very friendly and easy to work with, but I get that they need to make their commission. We were told we needed to submit a letter of cancellation notice (never heard of that) and that it needed to be hand delivered, rather than just me telling the GM directly over the phone that we wanted to back out (shady practice if you ask me).My wife hand delivered the letter at the company's building and I followed up with a phone call to confirm and sure enough the deal was done (and no push back which was actually nice).All in all, after sitting on our decision for a couple of days, the whole thing just felt shady. Door to door roof salesmen, the salesmen were also the inspectors? (maybe they have the proper training? at least they were able to sell that), pain in the a** cancellation process, wildly inflated prices, those prices able to get slashed by tens of thousands of dollars by a simple phone call, and all of the reviews online look to be made right after the sale is made rather than reviewing the product after it is installed. There are many reviews where customers are mentioning full blown scams by the company as well. My wife and I are very relieved to be out of the deal. No shade to the salesmen as they are just doing their jobs, it's not personal it's just business.I hope another homeowner sees this honest review to be made aware of what they are getting into before getting into a deal with DaBella.

Joseph and William were awesome-friendly yet totally professional. I felt they really understood what we needed-a shower that could accommodate our aging bodies-and were able to get something that will work for us and be beautiful. As a bonus they were able to help us get the new roof we needed also. I was so pleased that we are able to get a new shower and new roof for the price of what I thought a roof would cost.

Zach came in kind, courteous, very knowledgeable and very helpful. I really like his willingness to work with us, it made it very easy to understand what goes into in to the project. He was very honest with us. Told us what we needed and what we didnt. I really like how much he was able to work with us on the price. I love the choices that we were given and all the options we had to choose from. He had patience with all of my kids. That was really important to me. His demeanor was amazing. I really needed to get this done. I cant wait to see my new walk in shower with the new windows. Definitely gonna be spending a lot of time in there now. I really love the conpany name and the story behind it because that is totally something i would do. The fact that they are family owned and refuse to sell out was very important to me. Family is everything. All in all, i really appreciated Zach's approach with helping us out today. Will definitely recommend him to anyone that could be of service and will use him for any future jobs around my house!!

He had made some phone calls to superiors but that shows me that's a company that's willing to work with me. Josh had came by a few days prior. He was nice and extremely fun to work with. Javier as well was a delight to have in my home. They both made this entire process a pleasure. Zach on the other hand was extremely helpful in finishing up. He made it a comfortable process and I would recommend him to anyone I know for future projects.

Demell Williams was awesome representative for this company and he did everything to make sure I got a great price as well as a great payment plan I can't wait to work with the the people that will actually put my roof on. I recommend Demell to everyone. I recently changed my mind about the getting the roof as was my right and I did it in the correct time frame because I'm not a hundred percent sure I could afford it. Then Demells supervisor calls me asking me why I can't afford it anymore and good luck finding anyone else to do my roof cheaper. I literally just moved into this house haven't even made my first payment yet. I got lead into by an ad that said new roof @$97.00 a month and when I change my mind because now they say almost $300 a month I get bullied and treated rudely. Now I wouldn't do business with them even if I become a millionaire. I will find a more local company now for sure.

There was confusion at the begining, we were delayed a couple months but we couldnt get answer as to why at first. Our contract ended up being canceled, the company manager apologized, & asked if we were still interested. We agreed to give a second chance, since I really liked the flexibility it allows us by giving monthly payments & the products seem really good.They sent a manager out to assist, Kevin. He explained everything extremely well, I can tell he is extremely interested in his work, Kevin explained everything very well. He took the time to explain the contract to the "T." We had questions that nobody could really answer before but he answered them right away & reassured us about everything.I feel like we are in better hands now, & he is open to communication, doesnt make me feel like my questions are annoying or bugging him at all.
