The installation crew was fast and clean so inspection was a breeze. I would definitely recommend Powerhouse Solar over other solar companies. PowerHouse solar installed a system for me in 2010. They did an excellent job of designing and installing a system to meet my needs using great products. They also installed a small back-up system called a "Sunny Island" that has worked really well. It keeps most of my power on when the grid goes down. I was evacuated for 8 days because of the Carr Fire and the back-up kept my refrigerator and freezer running the entire time with the grid down. It was a good investment. I have been very happy with the service I have received on the very few occasions that I have needed it since the installation. I would highly recommend PowerHouse Solar.

PowerHouse Solar worked with us to install house solar, pool solar, whole house fan, and a variable speed pump for our pool. They did the design, the install, and submitted rebate coupons all with a very aggressive schedule to ensure tax credits for the current year. A few communication snafus but a great job overall. I recommend them highly - and have already done so to our friends and neighbors.

I had 5 companies come out for quotes and I went with Power House. I think we made the right decision, they were professional, kept me up to date on everything. The install team was fast and cleaned up after themselves. They truly were the only company out of the 5 I looked at that had a 25 yr bumper to bumper warranty. I would highly recommend them.

The solar array at our lake house was severely damaged last winter by a huge snow load. I did a lot of research and was most impressed with the SunPower product. Both the output and guarantee were the best in the industry. I contacted PowerHouse Solar because they were listed as an “elite” SunPower dealer. I couldn’t be more pleased with that decision.The owner, Bruce Blake and his sight manager, Garrett came to our home and evaluated our damages. They were thorough, knowledgeable and very professional in their evaluation. After getting approval by the insurance adjusters I gave them the go ahead. Approximately four weeks later they installed the new array and did an outstanding job.The installation took slightly more than one day and included the removal and recycling of the old system and installation of 21 new panels and the required rails by a team of six technicians. All team members were polite and professional and went the extra mile in terms of being helpful and efficient. They actually left the work sight cleaner than when they started!The new system is working exactly as described and should reduce our energy costs to about zero. We have built homes and remodeled over the years which is often fraught with delays and missed deadlines. NONE of that was an issue with PowerHouse Solar. They did everything that was expected and more! If I could give them six stars I would! Thank you for a job well done!

Powerhouse Solar installed my system in 2015. Their staff determined my solar needs accurately. The installation was very professional. I have not owed PGE at true up since they were installed. I had one minor problem since installation that Powerhouse Solar quickly resolved. It's been three full years and the Sun Power system is working great!

The system looks very nice and we are happy that it is under a warranty for 25 years. We know that this system is going to pay for itself over the years. The installers were always professional and courteous and always explained what they were currently working on because this was a large project.I was under the impression that we were going to have to pay for the upgraded transformer, but that was not the case. Because it is a shared transformer, we do not have to pay for it. The only draw back, which may have been because of red tape on wheover's end, was that it took over a year for this transformer upgrade to complete in order for our system to work at full capacity.

We are very happy with our solar panels. Our electric bill is only the monthly minimum. Our true up bill was about $200 for the whole year. It’s really nice not to worry about running our AC or our pool filter. We figure it will pay for itself in about five years.

I found this not to be a good fit for us. They insisted we signed papers and send back 1 cancellation paper to get out of it. Getting out of financing was quick and easy. The rest for service and product not so easy. Had to call many times for confirmation of my email to cancel. Not happy about it at all
