don't write a lot of reviews, but a roof is a very big job and I benefited from reviews from others so I am giving back. I used G A Roofers to install a lightweight concrete tile roof on my home recently. They were one of the lowest bids, but the reason I choose them was because of Scotty. Scotty is one stand up guy. He always showed up on time, was extremely honest, and did everything he said he would do. Really a man of his word. His bid he delivered to me the next day like he said he would, it was extremely well priced and informative, and his crew did an excellent job.Light weight concrete tile is very hard to work with, and with it's precise lines it magnifies any errors... my roof looks great - it looks like a new house. I was picky, and Scotty was always available to take my calls and address any concerns I had. It seems like it's become harder to find stand up, straight shooters like Scotty these days and I'm fortunate that I had him overseeing my large job. I recently had G A Roofing do some repairs and upgrades to my house in Redondo Beach (see attached pic). They did a great job. I was very happy with the result. Basically they identified some small holes in the roof that were causing some minor leaking, as well as a cracked skylight. Had those fixed (new skylight installed), as well as a new vent in the roof and - A SOLAR powered fan/vent! This has had an almost immediate impact on the temperature of our upstairs rooms and, of course, the temperature in the attic itself. Can't believe I waited so long to do this. The attached picture is of the very small (and silent) fan unit. Very reasonable cost, very pro job. I would recommend them highly to anyone here in the South Bay.

We had a great experience with G A Roofing and I wish more contractors were like them. They were punctual, professional, and had great communication. I called for an estimate for roof repair on a home we had just purchased. Scotty was super responsive and came the same day for a quote. He surveyed they roof and made a video for us detailing the issues and the proposed fix. He then provided us with a detailed written estimate. G A Roofing's price was not the lowest, but the fix proposed by Scotty was the most comprehensive. We went with them because we felt that we would get the most life out of our roof with the repairs proposed by Scotty. Once we approved the estimate, the crew came out just a couple of days later and completed the work in 2 days. Scotty checked in to make sure things were going well. Scotty even texted the first time we had a rain storm to make sure there were no leaks and everything was holding up. Since the repair, we have not had any leaks and the roof looks so much better.Service: Roof repair

We have a bay window showing water marks on the inside. Installers tested to see if the bay window was leaking, when it could not be replicated, they suggested having roof and skylight looked at. I went on Yelp and got excellent service from GA Roofing. The person answering my call was prompt, polite, and professional. I was scheduled within a few days. Scott came to examine the roof. He was a great listener and really tried to see if they could help. In our situation, we have to wait until it rains to accurately diagnose where leak is coming from. He wasn’t pushy and didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need. I really appreciate his honesty and professionalism. I TRUSTED THEM AND THEY GOT IT DONE!We needed minor roof repairs and getting anyone to look at this was a chore. I called GA Roofing and Johnny was there the next day; on time, professional and gave me a reasonable estimate. We agreed on the fix and the price with a 10% deposit required to hold my spot. On the Internet, I mistakenly paid the invoice in full, without so much as a date to do the work. I called Johnny and he said he would gladly refund me but he was also willing to do the work sooner, in-between other jobs waiting for inspections. So, I trusted him and they came before I expected, did the job, found and fixed additional repairs that were necessary the next day.I highly recommend GA Roofing great work, on time and on budget.Service: Roof repair

Very unprofessional and possible having outburst behavior.Called to schedule for possible roof repair. Did not show up on the appointment date. When contacted for this, becoming very rude and denying that the appointment existed. Instead rescheduling a new appointment, the man became angry, yelling in the phone.Should has no star, but this is not an option.

Aggressive and rude- no showed to scheduled appointment and when our family followed up claimed we never scheduled one and yelled. Most likely dodged a bullet with them- if they are that rude on the phone we can only imagine how mean they are in person. Don’t blame customers for your lack of planning and organization- why in the world would we have written a set date and time in our calendars if not discussed and agreed? I am so happy to have discovered GA Roofing! We had a couple of bad leaks, and we tried several “good” roofers to get bids. When we explained that it was repair/leaks, and that they’d have to locate the leak, they never called back. GA Roofing was highly recommended on Nextdoor, and was extremely prompt in responding, locating the leaks, and fitting us in before the next rain. We are extremely happy with the service and the work.

Met Johnny when he was repairing my neighbor’s roof. Asked him to look at my roof. He repaired flashing and replaced a few broken tiles. He showed up when promised, completed the work, returned when I had a question a few days later. We need a great reliable energetic roofer / roofing company in this area!
