This is the second time we hired Pearl Remodeling for a major project, and we’re just as happy with the results this time as we were with the first. Major storm damage meant we had to almost completely rebuild both bedrooms and bathrooms. From the very beginning our contractor Gal was committed to getting us back into our condo as quickly as possible. He kept the work on schedule despite multiple challenges. When the flooring we’d ordered from Home Depot showed up with major flaws, he went the same day to find new laminate for us and delivered it himself. He made suggestions for building back better than before, and the results are wonderful. Kevin who supervised the project communicated with us the whole time to make sure we were happy with the work. The multiple craftspeople who worked on our home all did great work. Our tiling looks beautiful, the floors are great, the painting perfect. Rachelle was very helpful, quickly communicating and providing documents I needed for our insurance. Pearl made a difficult situation manageable and delivered beautiful results.

We had a covered patio installed a few years ago. We decided to interview several contracts to enclose it into a patio room. Ori, from Pearl Remodeling, came to do the estimate. He knew immediately what needed to be done. They don't do just patios but everything you dreamt they can build for you. We also needed to tile the floor and demo the sliding door to open the living room stepping down to the patio room. Thus we didn't need to hire different contractors to accomplish the task. They did an excellent job from start to finish. It took less than 2 weeks for them to order the materials and only took a day to enclose the patio. What took time was when I decided to order the tile myself. The shipping was delayed a week, but once it was delivered, Ori scheduled the demo and tiling immediately. He oversaw the work from start to finish and the final product was exactly what we dreamt seeing. We will definitely recommend Pearl Remodeling to our family and friends. They are true business professionals.

Pearl Remodeling guided us through the whole process of designing, permitting, and building an ADU in our garage space. The team listened closely and respectfully to our needs and created a plan that checked all of our boxes. They communicated consistently with us throughout the whole permitting and construction process. They took our ideas and added professional input. The final product reflected our vision but was imbued with Pearl's experience and skill of execution. Construction as also done efficiently, on schedule, and with attention to detail. We love our new space and would certainly work with Pearl again in the future.

I’m very happy we hired Pearl Remodeling to remodel our bathroom. They were professional, extremely competent, and timely.I originally hired a different local contractor for the project. I provided the design with detailed scale drawings and dimensions that included stripping the room to the studs and installing a new tub with tiles. Fortunately, I am very knowledgeable when it comes to design, construction, and engineering, because the work done by the original contractor ranged from very sub-standard to downright wrong. I almost never saw their foreman, and good communication was lacking. They even damaged the bathtub because it wasn’t properly covered. Most of their workers were unlicensed, and apparently low-skilled. I became afraid to not be there whenever they were present. After watching them re-do several processes multiple times poorly (structural, plumbing, electrical, HVAC), I fired them and hired Pearl Remodeling to take it over. I’m so glad I did; they made a HUGE difference. And Pearl’s pricing was the same as the original company.All of Pearl’s workers were licensed and high-caliber professionals. They actually paid close attention to the drawings and asked pertinent questions while reviewing them. It was refreshing to see their quality workmanship and attention to details far beyond my plans. And their tile work was impeccable. Pearl’s project manager, Avi Shushan, remained very involved the entire time and provided excellent advice. His foreman, Jorge, was constantly communicating and updating me. (BTW, Jorge has a degree in civil engineering from UC Northridge.) They stuck to their timeline, and were flexible with a few last-minute adjustments I had sprung on them.When I fired the first company, their owner warned me that I was just being too particular, and that all contractors are the same; and if I wanted the quality I was demanding, I would have to personally supervise their work constantly. NOT TRUE!!! Pearl proved that to me! Thank goodness I called them. We now have a bathroom that exceeds our wishes.It is my pleasure to highly recommend Pearl Remodeling to anyone seeking a first-rate contractor that doesn’t over-charge for their services. I trust you will be as happy with them as we are.

We had a great experience! Izhak was our project manager: he was always available if we had questions or concerns, and responded quickly to phone calls or text. He stopped by almost daily during the process. We now have a beautiful insulated aluminum patio cover with recessed lights and a fan. Pearl also install tile on our existing patio slab. After a recent bad experience with another contractor, we are so glad we found Pearl and are so pleased with the final result of our patio!Service: Install flooring

We had a great experience Pearl Remodeling and with our project manager, Avi, in transitioning our existing garage/loft space into a one bedroom ADU. We knew we needed an architect to help with the project, but firms weren't interested in taking us on as clients due to the scope of the work being too small. This is why we went with a design build firm. From start to finish communication was excellent - frequent, proactive, and detailed. Avi was very available, responsive and accessible so that we were able to get questions answered quickly, as well as make quick decisions to ensure the timeline for the project continued moving forward. We felt like we had a clear sense of the various phases of the project and what was needed to realize our vision and meet our timeline. We were also kept regularly informed about the specifics of what was happening when, and when inspections were occurring. The project was completed in what seemed to us like record time - they began demo on May 23 and the project was mostly completed by the end of August. It also looks amazing - there is clearly a strong level of attention to detail in the work and the various tradespeople who worked on different aspects of the project were skilled and knowledgeable. Avi also did a great job sticking to budget. Unexpected costs were minimal, reasonable, and thoroughly explained.

We have been wanting to add a bathroom and reconnect a separated room for some time. We were very weary about hiring a contractor due to horror story's we have heard from friends. We did out interviews and ended up going with Pearl Remodeling. Our project manager Gal and his project supervisor Ofir were amazing. They took the time to do proper permits and research with LAUSD. Set Proper expectations. Performed better than expected in terms of time frame and quality of work. I would use them again and am already consulting with them about some other more minor projects at the moment. Gal is super communicative. I can always get ahold of him, and he does not make us feel bad for calling and asking what may be silly questions. If extra work was needed upon discovery he did not make a big deal about it. We felt his main goal was our happiness. There was one time we had a small issue where my neighbors sprinkler plumbing was ran over by a truck. There was no proof it was from the workers but Gal immediately fixed the issue on the same day it came up with no questions asked. This crew is top notch and I would recommend them to family and friends. They helped us put in an amazing steam shower in a nice very large modern bathroom. It was simply a closet before. It required drilling into a concrete foundation to add plumbing and the fixtures I got would have intimidated most other contractors. We installed a Kohler DTV + Showering system with touch panel and multiple outlets with speakers and special lighting and steam. It is by far the most high tech shower on the block. We also reconnected a bedroom with in ceiling speakers and added 3 windows and a sliding door as well as a barn door thru out for ergonomic entry. We also had out laundry room re designed for more space and easier access. Their permit guy Campbell seemed to know the inner working of LA county real well and what was code and so on. Inspections were a breeze. They made sure someone was here when the inspectors came so we were almost completely hands off. They never pushed me. Allowed me time to make decisions and order the finishing I want even if it meant pushing out the project a bit. I can't say enough how great and professional this crew is...If you need to do a remodel seriously consider Pearl Remodeling. You will not be let down.

I needed a contractor to do a partial bathroom remodel. Once I met Gal I knew this was going to be a good experience. First time we met he went over everything in such a great way that I felt comfortable right away. He was there at every step to answer questions.Omar and Leo with their helpers were terrific. Taking down a wall, tile and redoing a shower. It really was amazing to see every part of the process. They were nice, friendly and a pleasure.You always expect little things to go wrong and it did. While they were taking apart the old shower the wall on the backside in the living room cracked. They were on it, fixed it so well I could not tell that anything happened.Also, there are things that are not included. Such as tile or fixtures. I liked going to the tiles store and finding what I liked. I had to get the glass for the shower too. I had a couple of glass guys come out and give me a quote and ended going with the guy that Pearl gave me. He was nice and gave a good price so I felt like they give good advice and had plenty of options for outside companies.I think communication was key with Gal and his team. I knew what was happening when, with no worries and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned I can’t wait to do another project and use them again.Here are some before and after photo’s

We began out project in April and after nearing completion of it decided to expand our project based on the work that was done, the communication with and responsiveness of our project manager, Avi, and Pearl's ability to quickly continue to move into the second phase of our project. Our project included adding a bathroom and lighting throughout our house, converting an attic space to a closet, converting nonfunctional French doors to a wall of windows, changing the wood flooring throughout the house and baseboards and painting the inside of the house. We had excellent communication throughout our project with Avi and others from Pearl, which was essential since we work full time and one of us works from home. Avi was extremely helpful in offering suggestions on how to add a bathroom to the existing layout of our house, which is almost 100 years old, and staying on budget.

We highly recommend working with Pearl Remodeling. Our whole experience was very surprisingly pleasant. We added a patio area to the entrance of the house, a beautiful wood fence wall at front, added pony walls around the perimeter of the house, added wood to the roof soffits, and a fresh coat of paint to complete the job. We were really surprised (as was our neighbor) how quickly the whole job went! And their attention to detail & making the customer happy was impressive. I had a great experience with Pearl and with my project manager Izhak. Izhak was honest, caring, and very personable. He worked with me to structure the stage payments in a way that would work well for me. He made sure things were done to my liking and since I am bad at colors/designing he would make recommendations and he went shopping with me for tiles and the vanity.There were a few minor hiccups in communications, for example the construction crew not knowing the dates I'd be out of town and me not knowing they were doing work on certain weekends. And rushing me to purchase a bathtub which ended up sitting for a couple weeks before getting installed. But these were minor annoyances and all in all it was a good experience and I'm happy with how my brand new bathroom turned out.This was my first major renovation: an addition to my house for a new bathroom. They did the design, plans, permits and everything in a way that was pain free for me. We are ever grateful that everyone at Pearl stuck with us and saw our project through to the end. I have so many great things to say about Pearl Remodeling..where to start. First and foremost, we were looking for a contractor who would be upfront, honest, and organized. Ben Oded and the team at Pearl Remodeling have been that and more. When we started the project, which was to add a brand new bathroom, and to redo the adjacent bedroom, we were nervous. We had just spent almost an entire year doing work with different contractors and had been unhappy with the time it took, and the lack of organization.Ben put us at ease right away, and worked with us to build a timeline that was reasonable and realistic. His team were all professional and knowledgeable, and the work looks incredible.If that wasn't enough, I wanted to touch on something else Ben did to go over and beyond for us. On the week of my wife and my wedding (after we had to cancel 2x due to Covid), Ben and the team at Pearl Remodeling cleaned everything so that, while we were still under construction, guests coming from out of town could stay with us, without the interference of the work. But that's not all.. on the Wednesday before our wedding, with all of our friends and family in town, the gas went out in our house. This had nothing to do with the construction work from Pearl Remodeling - but it didn't matter. They sprang into action, came over the very next morning, and worked until they were sure that the gas had been fixed. Major crisis averted.. and it's all due to the care and attention of Ben and his team. And, their prices have always been competitive, and for the plumbing job specifically, came in several thousand below the next best quote.Ben Oded and his team are so great that we continue to work with them, and want to continue to do so for future projects. We needed a Pergola/Patio cover installed over our back deck and arranged for Pearl Remodeling to come by our home for an estimate.I had some general markings around the deck and on the exterior of the house for the dimensions I was looking for.Ben arrived and stayed with us for a long while. I asked many questions and had a bunch of nit-picky design requests. He assured us that all of my concerns would be addressed and was able to give us a quote before he left.It took the 2 man crew only about 3 (non-consecutive) days to complete the job. I was surprised at how much got done at the end of each day. The entire job was done by the end of the week.They were friendly, timely, answered all my questions and honored a drawing that I had created that called for specific design details.Although a structure like this isn't too complicated as far as home remodeling is concerned, the guys did very good work and did it quickly.Our new Pergola looks just as I had drawn it out and my wife and I are very happy. If you need a Pergola/Patio cover, we'd definitely recommend Pearl Remodeling.

My husband and I recently purchased our first home and couldn’t be more excited. The house was built in the 1960’s so you can imagine how dated it was. The kitchen had to absolutely be remodeled prior to move-in, so we wanted to act fast to get the entire job done ASAP. Therefore we chose the kitchen contractor team at Pearl Remodeling. We knew Gal previously because he had done my sister’s entire home (gutted the WHOLE thing) and the make-over was completely stunning. We had Gal come over for an initial consultation on our project and he already had so many great ideas and recommendations. He helped us expand our space from a galley kitchen to a more modern open look. I had a vision for the kitchen and Gal worked with me ensuring I was satisfied. I recently got my wall soundproofed for my studio condominium in Downtown Los Angeles. I am pleased to report that my experience was very pleasant and the quality of work was excellent.I got the wall soundproofed because I have a small dog that cries and barks. My unit is small which is not traditional to the type of projects that Pearl Remodeling typically takes but they were very accommodating about working with me and my needs. The price point was very fair and the level of service was both comfortable and professional.I worked directly with Gal who carefully explained every step of the process and found every option available to meet my needs and expectations. It was great to work with such a fine team and I would highly recommend anyone to utilize their services.

My wife and I had been waiting years to renovate our kitchen and guest bathroom. Once the pandemic hit, we struggled with deciding whether to wait another year or more, or bite the bullet, and once we were vaccinated, go for it. We decided to go for it. We did exhaustive research on home remodelers and narrowed our search down to three top-rated companies. We met with a contractor from each company. Alon from Pearl Remodeling beat everyone else out.From the first time Alon visited with us, he was punctual, courteous, friendly and honest. He never rushed us; he answered every question we had; and he also gave his own opinions, which we greatly appreciated. When he sent us the estimate, it was competitive with the others received. The difference from the others was the connection we had with Alon. He promised that he would exceed our expectations and that we’d be thrilled with the result. Seven months later, surviving a renovation during a pandemic, Alon was 100% right. He delivered on the promise he made the first day we met with him.Our renovation would have been done in two months. Pearl Remodeling moved quickly, efficiently, and expertly. It was the delays in materials (principally, quartz for our kitchen countertops; the vanity for the guest bathroom; and most awful- the wait for our kitchen appliances. We ordered them in April right after we signed the contract with Pearl; the dishwasher and range were delivered the first week of November.)Despite the delays, Pearl Remodeling was reassuring every step of the way. Again, special shout-out to Alon. He has the patience of a saint; every week when I told him there was yet another delay with the appliances, he was empathetic and understanding.This was my wife’s and my first home renovation. We are both perfectionists and when something is done nearly perfectly, we will only see the miniscule blemish. Put it this way: We had Alon’s phone number on speed dial. Every day during the renovation, I’d call with one issue or concern and Alon’s answer always was, “Absolutely. No problem. I will come over and we will take care of this.” And he did. Sometimes there was an issue, and Pearl fixed it immediately. Standard part of the renovation process, I now have learned. Sometimes, it was more of a phantom issue, stress-induced on our end. We wouldn’t like how the new toilet looked; then, a day later, we’d realized it was fine. We just needed to become accustomed to the change. Like I said, we were first timers. My point is that Alon was kind and he listened to each and every call and he made sure we knew any problem would be solved.I want to give a shoutout to some of the rest of the crew, because this is the other amazing thing about Pearl: You have a whole team dedicated to your property. They all know each other, and they’ve worked together for years, so they have a rapport and a friendliness that is brought into your home. Ofer handled the demolition of both the bathroom and the kitchen and he was fantastic. Same attitude as Alon. He was always reassuring and anything we asked for he did. He stopped by the property multiple times throughout the renovation and he made you know that there was a dedicated team behind the renovation.Jordan is another guy on the team. Same attitude as Alon and Ofer. Jordan oversaw parts of the installations; he also did some of the work himself, like installing some of the appliances. Jordan also did the finishing touch ups. He has an eye for the fine details and he’s just a nice guy with a positive attitude.George is a supervisor at Pearl, he also was great. He stopped by numerous times and coordinated final issues to be resolved.I highly recommend Pearl Remodeling.In 2022 we are renovating our owners bedroom and bathroom. Pearl Remodeling remodeled our bathroom. Ori managed the project and was pleasant to work with. The end result turned out pretty much as we had hoped. All of their workers were quite professional and kept our house relatively clean during construction.In retrospect, we should have worked with a designer. We opted to do everything ourselves, and that ended up being more work than I anticipated.The biggest issue we had was that the workers initially put the vanity too close to the wall, which prevented the drawers from opening because our home has no right angles.The project completed on time and at the agreed-upon budget.

For a family in our late twenties, looking for a home, buying a home, and now renovating a home easily tops our list for some of the most thrilling and also stressful times of our lives. While home renovation is stressful, there are people out there that can make it infinitely better than you can hope for and also make it such that you can look past those horrific reviews online. In comes Pearl Remodeling.My wife and I found Pearl through research, and while there was a copious number of positive reviews, we were still scared going in our full large scale remodel.Work required: Full remodel of 2 bathrooms (showers and free standing tub), update over 20 lights into recessed lights, redo all the flooring in the house (including washroom tiles), and paint. As I am writing this review, we are through a big chunk of the work, however we felt compelled to write it now and help out anyone else who is considering home remodeling.The scope of work to us was massive, and we really didn't even know how to get started. Luckily and as cliched as it might be, we are very glad that we had Izhak, David and Eric on our side for this remodel.Starting from the RFQ period, Izhak's team made it blatantly clear that how they plan on winning the bid is through quality of work, dedication to the details, and commitment to managing scope. All three of these aspects were critical success factors for us, and Izhak's team has done all of the above and beyond.Favorite Part of Working with the team: Their design sense, and their flexibility to meet you in the middle. It truly feels like Izhak's team goes out of their way to make sure that you are taken care of, and that is extremely reassuring.Suggestions for Anyone else looking to work with Pearl: Communication is KEY. Izhak, David, and Eric, and the rest of their team are all very responsive and you should 100% take advantage of that. Working over the phone is not ideal compared to the progress you can get by meeting face to face. My suggestion is that you set up regular in-person check-ins with the team so you can review your process, add commitments, and make sure everyone is clear on the work ahead.In this by far my longest review, and I plan on updating it once all the work is complete on my new home. At this point, I just want to emphasize again that Izhak's team has done a stellar job of making us feel comfortable and safe in trusting their team. We go home every day feeling like the next time we step back into our condo, it will look anew.

We used Pearl Remodelling when we purchased our townhouse to redo everything we could afford. Unfortunately we could not afford the guest bathroom at the time but now that we've got a bit more cash we're having them back out because we were so happy with the results and customer service the first time they were out. Everyone on the crew that did work for us is really first class and we're really glad to have Izhak, Cesar, etc back out.

Before searching through the corners of the internets, we first asked friends for recommendations for potential general contractors, who offered nothing but horror stories! We knew remodeling our kitchen would be a huge financial investment, and we wanted to take our time finding the perfect general contractor who will meet our checklist of needs and realize our vision. We didn't want to suffer the same fate as our friends, so my husband and I decided that we will not commit to any general contractor unless we both felt 100% "hell yes!" about him.The process to find a general contractor was mentally draining. It took us weeks, but we knew our patience paid off once we found Pearl Remodeling. From the initial consultation, we bonded immediately with Ben. General contractors have a notorious reputation for being dishonest and shady, but it was clear even from the beginning that Pearl Remodeling was a company we can trust. Throughout the entire process, there were constant emails, texts, and phone calls from Ben He really made sure he kept us in the loop from start to finish and that we were satisfied with every detail of our new kitchen. Even in the middle of night, Ben was quick to respond with my calls and emails.

We had unexpected hiccups during our kitchen remodeling, and for us, this was where Pearl Remodeling established themselves as the cream of the crop in the remodeling industry. As with any renovation project, unexpected surprises come up, but it's how Pearl Remodeling and Ben, handled and rectified the situation that set them apart from the rest of the general contractors in the business.My husband and I initially couldn't agree if we wanted lighting installed under our kitchen cabinets. By the time we both decided that we did want the lighting fixtures, it was too late because the drywall, the cabinets, and the backsplash were already installed. Sensing our frustration and disappointment, Ben suggested a brilliant solution of opening the stucco behind the kitchen cabinets, which allowed his team to arrange all the wiring and under cabinet lighting just the way we wanted. The cherry on top was he provided this additional service at his cost! We were truly impressed!
