I am very pleased with the outcome of renovations done by Team AHW! I discovered a slab leak in the master bed/bath rooms….it was somewhat difficult living through the demolition and rebuilding of the two rooms…but I just kept the end results in mind, and am not disappointed!Owner Michael, project manager Ray, and all the crews were always friendly, polite, and most of all good at their jobs!! They work hard and efficiently.I definitely recommend Affordable Home Works.

I couldn’t be happier with the work the AHW team has done! From the second I had my first meeting with Ray, it was very clear how helpful and professional they were. They’ve been really communicative, patient, and flexible- it’s very clear they enjoy the team and working together as they were always friendly.I had a lot of questions they were more than happy to answer. They were incredibly thorough in both their explanations and the work they did to restore my home after a faulty roof caused extensive water damage. My condo looks even better than it did before the damage- they matched everything so completely it doesn’t look like any work had to be done at all. The team did absolutely fantastic work, cleaned up until it looked spotless, and helped move my furniture back into place. I highly recommend them and trust them for any work I need doing in the future. Outstanding!

Came Home to a supply line that had leaked in my kitchen that turned into a small flood. I Gave affordable home works a call. They came out fast and on time to inspect the damage & did their part too demo/dryout my kitchen. They billed my insurance directly and waited for them to pay me. I appreciate them working with me since I am disabled and no longer working. We kept getting mice in our kitchen and couldn’t figure out where they were coming from. Decided to gut the kitchen and seal all the walls and called Affordable Home Works and we are very glad we did! Mike was super helpful and quick to provide a digital layout based on the design we wanted.They were able to compete the entire job in just a few weeks and met their deadline to have it done before we were set to host Thanksgiving. I was very impressed with the company as a whole but the owner Mike really took time to communicate with me and my wife and ensure we were taken care of. Ed - one of the construction guys was also very friendly and is a master at his craft. He also had great suggestions when we were stuck on a decision.I would highly recommend this company to anyone with an insurance claim or simply wanted a room remodeled.

April 2023 we had a hot water leak. Being 1st time homeowners we didn’t know what to do. Michael was very helpful and so nice during this whole process he explained everything to me and my fiancé on what was going to happen with our bathrooms and our homeowners insurance. Affordable Home Works is an excellent company with professional workers and reliable service. Our upstairs bathtub overflowed and ruined our bathroom floor and downstairs ceiling. Mike's workers came out and gave us a fair and HONEST contract bid for the job. Our insurance company accepted their bid/contract offer which was higher than what the insurance company thought it would initially take to complete the job. (Mike's company is experienced with working with insurance companies to negotiate a price to cover all the expenses necessary to do the job correctly). Our work was done in a timely manner and we are extremely happy with the finished results. My mom experienced a huge pipe break under her sink in the kitchen. Of course she calls me to figure it out. I go there to call her insurance company and they tell me to call a damage restoration company. After having a bad experience with one company myself I decided to look for another route. I decided to give Affordable Home Works a call and believe me it was the best decision I’ve made. They were there within the hour to start drying out the damages. From the communication to the detail they put into the work, everything was flawless and smooth. Mike from AHW was even able to help get my mom a new kitchen since the damage was so bad. Did I mention they did the repairs too?!?! I only had to deal with one person and one company! Mike handled everything perfectly and I couldn’t have been happier and neither could my mom. Mike and his team are amazing. From the beginning, they helped us go back and forth trying to get our home owners insurance to give us a fair settlement after a water leak destroyed our kitchen and floors. After we got our settlement agreement, Mike and his team were straight to work repairing and remodeling our entire kitchen and floors. The work ended up turning out great. This is a very delayed review 🤦‍♀️We have never forgotten how they made the experience a lot less painful for us💪🎁🙏Mike and his team were AMAZING!!!’ They packed out our whole house after a flood in 2018/2019. They carefully packed all of my 89 year, old mother’s belongings, and antiques with love and respect for her treasures. They stored them securely for over a year and a half, and at the drop of a hat, due to our insurance giving us less than three days to move home (State Farm SUCKS!!)… They had us in our home with our beds and our belongings immediately.Mike is an honest and genuine guy, as well as all of his employees, truly great people!!I apologize for the delay on this review… When you go through a trauma of almost losing your home… And trying to get your elderly parent back into their home... you kind of have PTSD for a while and really don’t want to return to the story… However, it’s important that Mike and his team know how much we appreciatewhat they did for us…🙏🙏🙏I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AFFORDABLE HOMEWORKS!!!!Service: Water damage-related cleanup & repair

My 91 yr old mother calls to let me know her upstairs bathroom toilet was overflowing and would not stop. I drove like a bat out of hell, walked into her home and heard what sounded like rain. There is water pouring out of the family room ceiling, upstairs bathroom flooded, 2 bedrooms soaking wet. When I say I panicked, I PANICKED. There was water everywhere!!! A friend referred me to my angels on earth, Affordable Home Works!!!Michael, Ray, Justin Joshua, Henry, John and a host of others I can't remember, made it to mom's in less than 24 hrs to access the damages. Category 3 flood. Michael and Ray came ready with all the tools need, testing walls, taking photos for insurance purposes and helped me start the insurance claim process and began the work necessary to repair mom's home. Mom was not happy but I had to move her out of her home.Throughout the entire project Michael was right by my side helping to navigate through the insurance claim. They did everything, packing up, every box was labeled and when the work was completed, put everything back just the way Mom had it before the flood. Michael and Ray were professional, respectable and mindful of the fact momma wanted to go home. She's home and extremely happy.I pray I never have to experience a situation like this ever again but if I do, the team at AFFORDABLE HOME WORKS will always have my business!!! I had the main water line from my 2nd floor toilet leak causing water damage in the upstairs bathroom, loft, and my downstairs family room walls and ceiling. I was in the process of hiring individual contractors for each repair I needed when I found Affordable Home Works. Mike came out to my home, walked me through each repair needed and explained how hiring a general contractor was more beneficial that the route I was taking of hiring I a different contractor for each needed repair. To make the process even better, Mike dealt directly with my homeowners insurance and was able to negotiate a reasonable payout that would cover the needed repairs without my family having to come out of pocket with thousands of dollars. We ran into some delays due to Covid and the the delivery materials however Mike did all of the follow up and kept us well informed the entire time. In the end, the repairs were completed and everything looks great. Mike and his team were always personable, professional, and easy to deal with. Affordable Home Works was prompt and professional. They were able to connect with us right away and you immediately felt they actually care about their customers. I love companies that are this way and you know that it's more than just business. Damage restoration is not fun but with Mike and his team it makes it easier. Their are all extremely nice. My walls are now back as before and you cannot tell that a week ago we had a hole before they completed the restoration.

Mike, the owner, was so true to his word when he told us that he would take care of us and make sure our home insurance would cover the cost to get our kitchen back to functional conditions.
