As a contractor, I discovered JB Wholesale Roofing and Building Supplies through a Google search for roofing materials and decided to source my materials from them instead of Ganahl or Home Depot. However, I was disappointed by the lack of customer service skills at the location. While Hendrickson, the sales agent who assisted me with my purchase, was helpful with my list of items, he was dismissive when I asked to see a product they stocked and simply stated that it was located all over the yard. Additionally, I found it unusual that they charged a 3% gratuity fee for the items I purchased.When I returned a drip edge, a roll of torch down, a box of nails, and a bundle of shingles a few days later, I encountered Jimmy Kim. Jimmy was immediately confrontational about the bend in the bundle of shingles, even though it was a minor issue. He began yelling and refused to take back the bundle, even though it was given to me in that condition. While he was inspecting the bundle of shingles, he decided to rip half the unopened bundle of shingles and destroy the packaging. If they were not going to take it back, why destroy the packaging? When I asked to speak to the manager, he claimed to be the manager and called over the employee who had loaded me up at my truck. This employee had difficulty speaking English, so another employee was there to translate. I explained that when they brought the pallet of shingles, there were already damaged bundles, and the employee was going through the pallet of bundles for undamaged shingles. Despite this, he argued that they did not give me the damaged bundle.I was extremely dissatisfied with the level of service and the confrontational behavior of Jimmy Kim. I informed him that I would not be purchasing materials from this location again and that they could keep the $55 I had spent. I had been a potential client who would have spent thousands of dollars a year.In short, it's better to shop elsewhere where the service is more inviting and less confrontational, and where they don't charge a 3% fee on the total cost to ring you out on your purchase

I work for a roofing company this is one of our suppliers I have a sales rep so I don't really work with in-store staff I order everything through my sales rep and when he tells me my material is ready for pick up or my material will be delivered to my job site it is always on time

Just recently SRS contractor company had bought off my company's roofing yard from Santa Ana's (SG Whole Sale Roofing Supply Inc) and I'm looking forward on getting transfered to the closest roofing yard around me. I'm hoping Riverside Roofline are hiring looking for a swamper Load/Unload trucks real soon!.Wish me luck.(:
