I signed my contract to replace my sliding door with French Doors on 5/18/23. I was told by the salesman that the job would be complete in about a month. I received a call from Tenco and an initial email. I received a text on 6/21/23 to confirm my install date of 8/3/23. I asked the person (who I later found out was a sub to Tenco) that my doors weren't being delivered until 7/20/23. I tried to get in contact with Tenco via email (to Kayla who never responded), FB messenger and phone to no avail. The sub that did the work on 8/3 did a great job except my door hardware was given to them incomplete (missing parts). It's been 2 weeks since my door install and I have not heard ONE SINGLE WORD from Tenco on when this will be complete.Bottom line, the communication with Tenco is HORRIBLE! I would recommend their sub but not them.UPDATE: After writing my review on 8/17/23 I received a phone call from Kayla that the parts for my door had conveniently been delivered the day before. Her message said I should be receiving a call from their sub that day or the next day to finish the install. I didn't hear from anyone until today, 8/22. My doors finally have hardware.

This company is horrible when it comes to helping to repair issues that come with your warranty. We had them install a patio cover in the backyard and it started leaking and water got into the light fixtures and they scheduled to come out and never showed up and then when you call them back to get your appt rescheduled they give you the run around and fail to respond especially this lady named Kayla. Choose another company!!

In response to the owner: neither you or Kayla can explain why we had to provide you with the HOA approval THREE TIMES and why it took 5 months to submit our plans to the county. Kayla will not address THAT issue. All we get is the same blanket statement that you do not control the county; driving home the point of your horrible communication.Worst company ever. They took 5 months to submit our application to the county. KAYLA asked us 3 separate times for HOA approval. We gave it to them 11/2022. It was finally submitted 3/2023, per Kayla. THEN, it took 7 months apparently for the county to approve. They continue to blame the lengthy time to complete this project on the county. What about those 5 months? Worst communication ever. Worst customer service ever.

OK in the beginning, yes we did have some problems with our concrete cracking.And I left a very negative review.I would like to apologize publicly to the owner of Tenco Construction Company. Doug I apologize sir!After Doug was made aware of the situation, he called me personally and reassured me, that he would take care of it.And he did, I now have a new Concrete patio and rocks. It looks awesome!I would use this company again in a heart beat. Because I know, that if there is a problem. It will get resolved in a timely manner.Tenco THANK YOU!Chris collier.

I am highly disappointed with Tenco Company. Advertised as a "family owned business" I felt that I could trust them. Ask for a free estimation to have a patio cover installed. A person by the name of "Adam" came to my home, did the measurements and gave me a quote. I was satisfied with the amount and decided to hire Tenco for the installation. Everything seemed legitimate, contract was sign and Adam asked for a deposit to hold the cost and start the job. Adam said that I should get a call from a person name "Kayley" to schedule a second measurement of the patio cover that I wanted installed. Again, trust-worthy, Kayley came to my house did the remeasurements and said that she would get back to me. She never called me back - I had call to find out what was going on. She said that the installers would have problems installing the patio cover because there was a pipe from the water heater and they would not be able to remove it or make allowances to have the patio cover installed flushed to the eaves. Kayley told me that I would have to call another company to have the pipe removed and reinstalled so that the patio cover could be put in. Long story short, after Tenco cashed the check, the games began. I always had to call and when someone did answer the phone there was always the excuse that a message would be given Kayley and she would return my call. Well this started in December and still no patio cover however they did get my money!!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!! They will take your money and jerk you around like they are doing to me!!!!!!!

They don't tell ypu up front about their manufacturer delays. We did extensive research on the company and I was satisfied that this would be a good decision. However, it has been 6 months since signing the contract and still waiting for work to happen. It's a manufacturer delay and they will not give a discount. Had I known it would take this long, I would not have used them. They will not let me break the contract because they say it's not their fault. Well, it's not my fault either. Run from this company. They don't tell you why there's a delay and only respond to you if you call them about 10 times a day, and only then will you get an answer as to why the long delay. The only nice thing about them is Cheryl, who called occasionally to tell me they still haven't gotten the windows, although she didn't know why. Delays in installation and after installation missing screen doors. Been months and still don’t have the screen door. They keep blaming delay on manufacturer. No accountability. Once they get paid you are no longer a concern or a priority as a customer! They have blocked me on Facebook and Instagram since I was leaving comments on their posts about their customer service.Responding to your response - If you knew of the issues you had with your supplier then you shouldn’t have told me that I would be getting my screen door within a few days after the installation. You deceived me in order to sign off on completion of job so you would be paid! Then I am being told that it is now a warranty issue rather than installation issue! I don't usually leave reviews, but I had to make the exception in this case. We purchased an older home in Riverside last year and it came with a bonus, "Drafty Windows"! I know we did not have a "real" winter this year, but with the little cold weather that we did encounter we noticed how cold our house would get, even though we had the heater on. As soon as the heater would turn off, the house would feel very cold again within minutes. That caused the heater to work pretty much nonstop, which of course affected my utility bills. :(I searched on the Internet for energy efficient windows and came across several local businesses. I selected Tenco because I didn't feel like they were trying to scam me when we spoke on the phone.The weather was very warm when we had the windows installed, and I noticed the house remained much cooler than the outside temperature. That turned into instant savings on my electric bill. Our home also looked great with the new vinyl windows and stood out from the neighbors homes! That was a plus!The true test came when we had that sudden cold front that brought tons of cold air and rain to Southern California recently. I did not feel any cold air coming in from the outside! Job well done Tenco!I will definitely refer my friends and family to you. Thank you.

Brandon came to our home to give us a quote. He arrived on time, seemed friendly enough and so we proceeded to show him our backyard. He began measuring our yard and started asking about whether we want insulation or not. I inquired about what the benefits were as we were looking to explore our options. I asked if he would provide us with a breakdown of costs to which he stated "NO! There are about 10 options if I give you a breakdown on all of them, I'd be here for 10 hours. You need to just tell me what you want and go with it" in the most annoyed/condescending tone. Mind you he had been at our home for about 5mins at this point so its not like he was repeating himself or we had wasted a ton of his time. The entire point of him coming to our house was to give us a quote and tell us what kind of options/features we could choose from!!! We are not cheap, but ultimately everything comes down to cost so if your not willing to give me a breakdown then why would I go with you?!. If you are unsure of what you want or need a company that is willing to work with you, this is NOT the company for you. I'm not sure if he was intimidated by the size of our project or the fact we are a mixed couple. Either way, I would not hire them. I called and spoke with the supervisor because we were so upset after the interaction. Its recorded on our backyard camera if they want to see how to do better next time!!

Tenco installed our Radiant Barrier insulation 5 years ago!! They did a great job and as homeowners we were please with the quality of workmanship and the attitude of the staff. In fact we are now having a "quiet, cool, whole house fan" installed, by them. Their response time to our request for quote was great and they were on time for their estimate!

I was at the fair three years ago and they asked to place a bid for some work I had wanted to do at my home. The bid came in much higher than I had expected and I declined. They called me back later and said they had made a mistake on bid and asked if the could come back. The gave me the same bid, but this time were verbally abusive. The guy who came by complained that I was wasting his time. Now I get called every day with the same lame pitch that they want to apologize by "discounting" the work. I will never do business with this horrible company.

Saw their stand at the farmers market in West Covina and decided to get a quote. The guy was on time, which was nice. He had some samples of what would be used for our patio, also nice. Our patio is 22x24ft. First quote was 18k! That is with us already having the base platform. I told him that his quote was more expensive than our new roof!! He dropped it down to 15k and eventually said if we accept the offer today we will pay 9k! I asked him to email the quote in detail and he said his company does not do that! ????? We declined the service. Any company who can not give you a detailed quote smells a little fishy to me.

Purchased 3 windows 4 years ago. One of the closing latches completely broke off in the 1st month. I called at least 10 times to get it repaired. Not once have I ever received a return phone call. It is still broken.Service: Window installation

Today I had two men come out to give me a estimate for a new roof. When I went out to greet the men I was asked where my husband was?!! I explained that he wasn't home and nor will he be when I'm home because we work different schedules. The men then told me that my husband would NEED to be here at the time of the estimate. I asked why?? They told me that it was because he would need to see the product and hear their information. So I confirmed that because my husband isn't here you guys will not give me a estimate..and they confirmed that he would need to be home. I sent them on their way and now my day off has been wasted by waiting around for these chauvinistic men to show up. The rating that I'm leaving today doesn't even deserve a star. If you are a woman looking to have your roof replaced or anyother work done by these jerks don't waste your TIME!!!! Apparently they only want business from men!!! Disgusted to say the least!

Made appointment didn't show .this company what's every member of the house hold there just to give you a estimate so that to pressure you into a sale like a time share. Not the best price not the best service. Try to hook you with but we will take payments with no interest. But there price is so high it already added in .
