Citadel was tasked with replacing the roofs in my condo complex. On a daily basis, the trash and debris were not cleaned up properly. Citadel tore off the gutters in the process and did not replace them. Several units have water leaks inside after the roof replacement, and Citadel can't be bothered to send anyone out to inspect or fix the poor work. There is currently an unorganized pile of building supply material sitting in the same spot for the last month that they never removed. The level of service has been laughable. Take your business elsewhere.

This is a great company to work with. I had contacted other solar companies and listened to their presentations, but they really did not know many of the specifics, they were more interested in closing the deal. Eric, my salesperson explained in detail the benefits and was able to save us many thousands of dollars by finding appropriate grants for our installation. I would refer Citadel to anyone interested in getting a solar system.

Everything was great from the quoting process to installation. Installation crew was outstanding. The only disappointment was the referral policy. I referred my son to Citadel and never received any compensation. Still highly recommend them.

Citadel did a great job with solar installation. I have light weight tiles and a couple of other installers refused. Citadel is also a roofing company and came prepared with replacement tiles to swap any ones which broke during installation!! Chris Blank was great to work with.

Dom showed up and very quickly identified the location of the leak in my roof after investigating it's source in the attic. He located it at one of the solar panel attachment points, fixed it quickly (including removing and re-securing the solar panels above the leak) and was on his way---all in less than 2 hours. From the beginning of discussing solar with Citadel to the actual signing of a contract this entire process has been flawless. Every aspect was perfect from the design layout, the superfast and professional time frame of the schedulers, installing the solar panels to the authorization from PG&E to go live and the follow up from Citadel Roofing. We had amazing people and two standouts were Brandi and Courtney who constantly followed up with any concerns. it was an amazing experience. My house came with 14 solar panels installed already. I added another 14 panels through Citadel. They were quick to respond to my call and had someone come out within a week to do the inspection. In the next 2 weeks, I received the diagram of how they would install the panels, agreed with it and then the proposal was sent off to the county for approval. Once approved, they came out the very next day and completed the entire install in a single day. The office crew kept me in the loop throughout the entire process. Overall, from the time that I made the first call to the day of the install was 2 months. I would recommend Citadel to anyone looking for solar.

Bernice Yoder, the Solar Customer Service Dispatcher, was immediately aware of, and responsive to, my problem (recurring loss of Wifi Enphase connection), and quickly arranged for my solar technician home appointment! Her follow-up communications were excellent.Tyler Jones, the solar service technician, was superb. He immediately diagnosed the problem and knew exactly what to do to prevent recurrences. He reset and reconfigured the WiFi range extender, and plugged a range extender into the network switch. He also plugged Envoy and Tesla Gateway into the network switch and verified all system connections were good. Besides being friendly and informative, he is impressively knowledgeable and very efficient in his work.I continue to give Citadel my highest recommendation.

I have been happy from the beginning to end! Starting with Gideon Richardson who was my first contact. He answered all my questions patiently and I do have lots of questions. And, continued with scheduling for various visits etc. Always proactive and on time. I was nervous on the day of install but they also answered my questions, showed me the parts and how they were going to be installed and connected, and work. And, to the end that I got a refund check because I had over paid for a part of my payment. I absolutely recommend this company. Thank you

Citadel provided the panels and installation for my newly constructed home, so after moving in I contracted with them to add panels to double the capacity. All our interactions from estimate to permit, installation to final inspection and finally PGE permission to operate, were super professional and smooth. Now as the heat wave has hit, i can see the as-promised productivity of the panels on my phone. I definitely recommend Citadel.

Great roof in the end, but some troubling issues in the process.1. The salesman assured me that any leaks before Citadel installed the new roof would be fixed for free.2. It took 4 months for the roof to be installed, and no leaks were fixed. I was up on the roof with a tarp and a hammer every week during the rains.3. The installers initially claimed that the whole roof was covered in six layers of shingles, and charged me to take all of them off. Luckily I had a contractor there to confirm that it was only a few squares with multiple layers, not the whole roof.4. Gutter Guard installation was not great (see photos)5. Citadel didn't coordinate with our GC on inspections, which resulted in a red tag on the house.In the end, the roof seems good, but knowing what I know now, I think I would have gone with a company that could have installed faster.

Citadel Roofing did a great job managing the whole process and installation. I was expecting the install to take another ~6 mon, from my NEM2 submission earlier this year but they got it scheduled and completed by July. I had only 1 real issue where one of the solar panels fell under a shady spot. I took a few pics, sent over to the project manager and he promptly messaged me back that they would inspect the job and move the panel. Within a few, 2 panels were moved and job was completed to my satisfaction.

Bernice with Citadel Roofing & Solar did a great job for me. I live in Santa Rosa and my original installer went out of business. My inverter failed. The local solar company (Petaluma) that was certified to replace my inverter under warranty refused. Citadel is 75 miles away from where I live yet they took care of me when the local person wouldn't. Thank you Bernice!!!!!

Such a relief to find such a professional and responsive Solar company. Our installer went out of business and Citadel cut through the red tape to be our service provider. Abandoned contract and cost us thousands, we're seniors and I have a disability. Damaged my roof during phony solar survey, wouldn't answer questions about who was actually responsible for roof damage, employs unethical sales people who masquerade as prime contractors, I've worked in Solano County and all over California with hundreds of contractors, do not do business with these people. Especially if your a senior or have a disability. Edit of Citadel reply, Owner of Cozy Services is a liar if he implies I didn't pay him in a timely manner and in full. I have a timeline, emails, invoices marked paid in full, and a cashiers check receipt as proof. At no time does Cozy have any communication from me that I wasn't going to pay what I owed, Cozy management are also liars if they claim I didn't have a contractual relationship with Citadel, Your own waivers I was compelled to sign state they are in relation to solar contract I signed with Citadel. I had a construction loan to pay for your solar install in full until Cozy abandoned the contract, interfered with my loan and materially breached contract. Your misrepresentation of association with Cozy does not change the facts, Cozy is just a glorified handyman, not a prime contractor. I have Cozy signature on a contract he did not complete. Citadel association with Cozy is just an example of deceptive business practices. And to imply I didn't pay any monies I owed, <under duress> just shows me what dishones people I was dealing with
