I have been Very IMPRESSED! We had 6 bids for roofing from very reputable companies. After we received all the bids we selected Yancey Roofing. Not only were they very competitive on their price but their service was phenomenal! They did the job in 3 days and the roof looks great! One thing I learned was to make sure you look into the companies and what they offer. Yancey bid included everything and there was no surprises. Great Company I would use them again!

If I could I would give 6 starts! We had a few bids and Gudgel Yancey Roofing was by far the best! Their service was great from the bid to final installation. I ran into an issue with Owens the manufacturing of the roof and Jason the owner fixed it immediately. When selecting a roofer there was so much to know and Gudgel Yancey made everything very clear and they are a platinum contractor with Owens which gives a better warranty. They are a top notch company and I have no problem recommending them to anyone!

We just got our new roof a couple of weeks ago and I was amazed at the speed, efficiency, quality and price of product / craftsmanship of the staff as well as their professionalism and dedication. The work occurred right before a big rainstorm and they almost killed themselves getting the roof on before that happened. However, I have to say, the quality didn't suffer at all as a result. My daughter and son-in-law used Yancey a few years ago and had the same result. I would recommend them to anyone. Yay Yancey!

I have to say I was quite pleasantly surprised at this Company. Rick was very professional and friendly. He was on time with a smile on his face. What really amazed me, is that he actually researched my property and was able to come prepared for what he might have had to deal with. I mean, not many companies actually do their homework and come prepared. Usually its a waiting game, oh you need this.... and oh you need that.... and its going to take 2 weeks to get your part.... blah, blah, blah... Not with Yancey Roofing. When my wife and I started looking for quotes for solar, numerous companies made contact with us to push their product. Most of the companies pushed that we lease the units, but came to a stand still when checking our credit scores. We haven’t the greatest of scores, which changes their minds, wanted us to buy, with a 50% down. The only company willing to work with us and less than perfect credit score was Yancey Home Improvements. They our hands, answering all our questions and treated us like family. They looked at our credit score and it didn’t seem to bother them. They’re product it first rate and I recommend Yancey Home Improvements to anyone looking to have solar installed.

Felt extremely uncomfortable with the service of this place. The man who came out to give an estimate for one of the houses that I manage for work, said he was scared because there were two women that he said were hookers were approaching his car with guns and was angry with us because we did not open up the gate fast enough to the facility for him to get inside the property. The house is in South Sacramento which is known for being a not such a good area. Instead of getting to know us he was only was trying to make a fast deal so he could hurry up and leave. It made the people that lived there feel unhappy with where they live at. I once heard it said “We were all humans until race disconnected us, religion separated us, politics divided us and wealth classified us.” It feels good when we treat each other as equals.

If I could leave zero stars I would. This company does NOT honor its contracts and doesnt follow through on their work. They are salesmen selling false items. Not honest!!
