Warning!! do not use these people for solar panels ours do not work after 5 years and the owner (Who has a shattered ankle) has nothing to offer NOT EVEN A VISIT ? He says "well go get it checked out good luck" it might be his work that caused ? The panels that are supposed be on warranty!! WE have been without solar for over a year ? They hired roofers that left our roof exposed ! Yes actually had to complain to get those guys back to repair our roof that they left exposed no english language no accountability .

I met California Coast Builders at the Ocean Beach chilli cook off. The owner Rob came out to my house to give me a quote on a Solar System. We are extremely happy with the entire no pressure process the installers are Fantastic! We are saving money from the very first month! We decided to have them replace all of our windows & doors, what a Great difference! Thermal efficient, less noise and they look Great! They just completed our exterior with a Cool Wall application, the whole installation crew are very professional, are house looks Amazing! I highly recommend California Coast Builders!

We just had the exterior of our house “cool-walled”, an alternative to a regular paint application. Time will tell if it reduces cooling costs and resists fading. It was more expensive than paint but should last much longer. Our exterior is a combination of stucco, shingles and wood siding and the stucco was cracking and down to original layer in some places.We chose to hire California Coast Builder, Inc. in Pacific Beach after researching the company on the internet. We were very pleased with this company. They delivered as promised. We met with the owner of the company and he answered our questions and explained the 10-step process.The workmen showed up as scheduled, worked hard, and cleaned up each day. They were very careful placing drop cloths and covering windows when pressure washing and spraying to keep paint splatters to a minimum. They did an excellent job of repairing the stucco. They were also able to work around one of the shrubs very close to the house, so we did not have to cut it down.The workmen were friendly, quiet (no loud music to annoy neighbors) and very careful to clean up each day. The owner stopped by several times to check on the progress and make sure we were satisfied.We recommend California Coast Builder, Inc. for this Tex-cote application.

California Coast Builders installed windows in my 10th floor residence, some years ago. The manufacturer guaranteed the windows, one double pane of which became cloudy, but when I sought satisfaction, under the manufacturer's guarantee, the manufacturer's rep said it didn't cover the cost of the installation. California Coast was contacted, and the promise was made, and kept, to live up to the guarantee, at no further cost to me. The cost of installing the replacement window was shouldered by California Coast, and while it cost them, out of pocket, perhaps half of the total cost of the original installation, they were true to their word. California Coast assumed costs of plaster, painting, and finishing trim work. A perfect replacement, for which I cannot thank them enoughHaving taught business ethics in an MBA program for a number of years, I cannot think of a better exemplar of corporate responsibility, and cannot praise them enough. We recently had our 4 unit condo complex painted (Cool Tek) and some work done on two balconies. They did an incredible job! The work crews were friendly, considerate and cleaned up the site at the end of everyday. After nearly a year of meeting with different contractors to replace our 2nd story deck and add a spiral staircase, we finally decided to move forward with California Coast and couldn't be happier. Rob met us at our home, multiple times, throughout the process. He was informative and clear about the process and what to expect. Luke and his guys were professional, efficient and always on time. 6 months after the job was finished, I reached out about a small section of railing that was loose. Half expecting to never hear from anyone, Luke responded to me the same day and came to our home a few days later to tighten things up. I was satisfied with the end product, however it is hard to get anyone to fulfill the warranty on our kitchen remodel. I have called, emailed with no success. I emailed the owner again today, with my fingers crossed for them to resolve these issues.
