The team at Kaminsky did a wonderful job. I am very pleased with my new bathroom. Francisco does excellent tile work. He installed Toto toilets and seats as well as new faucets beautifully. His finishing with paint and caulk is perfect! I am sorry that I have to write this review because I thought both of the handymen that came to my house to fix my pocket door did a great job and were pleasant. I am happy with the fix that they did on my pocket door and the patchwork on the wall is almost seamless. I received a bill for $800 for the fixing of the hole they had to cut in the wall which was about 8”x24”. They said that $400 of that was for supplies. This cannot be true. The only things that were needed were mud, a small can of paint, and maybe a roller brush and sandpaper. I will not hire this company in the future.

I had someone come from Kaminsky Repair about 6 months ago and the experience was great. They scheduled me with something right away, were helpful on the phone, all the things.However, I have since called back 3x in the past 3 weeks and no one has returned my calls. I don't know if something has changed, but they're customer service has gone down the pipes. I would've recommended them 6 months ago, but not anymore.

I do NOT recommend using this company and here's why... I usually don't like giving bad reviews, in fact I enjoy giving good reviews, however in this situation for my bathroom remodeling project, I cannot give Kaminskiy Care and Repair a good review and would absolutely not recommend them to anyone.The technician arrived to my home late and about 30 minutes after arriving he had to leave for an hour because he had forgotten to bring his work tools with him. This already started off badly. I should have taken this as a sign and stopped the work right then and hired someone else.The technician did NOT center my bathroom sink correctly for the undermount installation, the undermount sink is about an inch off from side to side. I noticed it immediately after he left my home.He also installed the toilet paper holder lobsided, he obviously did not use his leveling tool to be sure that the toilet paper holder was mounted correctly. I see the faulty sink installation the technician did every day and it is very disappointing.The technician also scratched my new marble countertop. He had his tools laid out on the countertop without any kind of protection to my new countertop from getting scratched by his work tools and worst of all, he seemed like he didn't care.A very careless individual.When I made the appointment to have the work done in my home, I stressed to the representative on the phone that I wanted someone to do quality work. Sadly, I did not receive quality work from Kaminskiy Care and Repair. Although they did send a second technician do fix some of the mistakes, they told me that recentering the undermount sink correctly was "beyond the scope of the job" and if I wanted the sink mounted correctly that I would have to schedule more work and that I would have pay for it. Obviously they don't guarantee their work. The whole experience with Kaminskiy Care and Repair was very concerning and I'm very very disappointed.Avoid stress and save your money and hire another contractor.

Our technician, Tony, did an amazing job and on very short notice! He repaired a drywall hole in our ceiling that had been stressing us out. He answered our (many) questions while working and had an overall very positive, welcoming demeanor.Thanks Tony - we'll sure be looking to Kaminskiy for future work.

We have used Kaminskiy Care and Repair twice now. Ryan W performed all the work to our satisfaction. We requested to utilize him for all our work after the first visit. He is very dedicated and hard worker. He is open to ideas and comments. He also gave us recommendations on the projects. He completed everything from installing kitchen cabinets, installing kitchen and bath hardware, drywall repair, painting, hanging mirror, and installing baseboards and kick boards in kitchen and bath. He is well rounded with many skills and personable. Will utilize Ryan again for other projects next year. The Young Man that built our wall unit was professional, on time, knowledgeable, great problem solving skills and the list goes on. We loved him! His name was Francisco. I do NOT recommend this company. I paid $50 for them to come out and give me an estimate on home repairs. I was hopeful as the estimator that seemed professional and experienced. This was over a month ago. I was told I’d get a quote within a couple days. Despite multiple calls and texts, I have yet to get a quote or a call back. I left them a message requesting a refund of the $50 fee I was charged for them to come out. Very frustrating. The answering service is overseas and I have yet to speak to a local employee.

I used Kaminsky Care and Repair to convert a loft area into a bedroom. Completed their work today. From start to finish my technician Adrian Juarez took care of all the details in the project, impeccable work, always cleaning after the day, covering everything so flooring and furniture did not get damaged. Took about 9 days. Fluent communication with my Sales Rep. Eunice always supportive and flexible with all my requirements. Overall a great experience, professional, responsive, knowledgeable team. Mr F Gomez repaired damaged caulking around the edge of a skylight, caused by roof replacement a few weeks earlier. In addition he removed a number of protruding nails causing drywall damage, replacing them with new screws. He then painted the drywall, doing a perfect job.Services: Painting, Drywall repair

initially the person we spoke to was knowledgeable and had very good customer service. We sent in pictures and was given a quote. The appointment was set for 9/7/23. No one showed up. When we called to find out what happened they said that the man who was going to do our job was just fired. They rescheduled the appointment for 9/9/23 and no one showed up a second time. When we called the man he said he had to call dispatch and never called back. This was a second No show. We were very disappointed at this company and would never recommend them to anyone since they don’t have respect to even call you back regarding the job & whether or not someone will come or not to do the job. I don’t know how they’re in business

We had real problems with our widows. I called many companies and nobody wanted to even try to adjust the windows. Their answer was to replace windows for many $$$$. Kaminskiy said that they could try and adjust and see what happens.They were able to adjust all but two windows. On these two it was determined all new hardware was needed. Once sourced they returned and repaired. This has saved me many thousands of dollars. They were easy to work with very professional and responsive. I was impressed with the company overall and with Ryan W’s work, in particular. The quote process was easy. I filled out a form online and they followed up with texts and a call to clarify information. Mike sent me a detailed quote. They offered a new customer discount and a military discount, which is always appreciated. I felt the price was fair for several different odd jobs.Ryan was competent and friendly. He had a “can-do” attitude and clearly was experienced in a variety of repairs and installations. He worked diligently and completed each of the projects in a reasonable amount of time. Kaminsky Care and Repair is my “go-to” for home maintenance repairs and small construction jobs. Most recently, they installed built in cabinets around my refrigerator and also extended my countertops to give more space. The detail of the work was so clean and well done! Adrian did a fantastic job and it is high quality work. He is professional and courteous. Eunice had also done many jobs for us and her work is A++. Can’t say enough about these two! We were concerned about recently discovered water damage in a closet. My mother was taken with how nice, understanding, and helpful the person was that answered the phone. We tend to not have luck with home repairs, so we were skeptical and a little nervous. In walks Eunice, right on time for her appointment and instantly got to work setting our fears at ease. She was professional, knowledgeable, and very friendly. She explained what she thought the issue was and expedited the service call as we were expected to get more rain (I swear that in San Diego, we are going to have to build an arc soon!) and was concerned about water getting in. We knew they were trying to squeeze us in for the same day and there happened to be a scheduling issue, so Eunice showed back up and did the work herself. She willingly walked around the house with us discussing other repairs and possible solutions without trying to sell us on any outlandishly pricy services. We had an issue where the access point going into the attic (which is where the furnace is located) was affected by previous work done by a different company. It wasn't until the furnace cut out that we realized there was an issue. Eunice and Adrian from Kaminskiy's restored the original access point. To this, they had to reframe walls in a closet space, install drywall, and apply texture to the newly created walls (to match rest of house) and paint. Had an appointment time of 11:30-11:45 am. Tech called to say closer to 12:00 pm. Then called to say 1:00 pm. Then called to ask how to get into the gated complex…except we don’t live in a gated complex. I asked where he was and he said San Clemente. We live in San Diego.UPDATE:About 10 minutes after this incident, I got a call from service manager Eunice. She took the blame and apologized for the snafu. That took guts and I was impressed she did that. Then a few hours later her supervisor called and apologized on behalf of the company. Again, a gutsy move and one that showed the company cared for its clients. I’ve elevated their stars to a 3.
