I recently had the pleasure of working with Kanna Construction, and despite a few hiccups along the way, my experience was overwhelmingly positive. The project faced some early challenges due to miscommunications with the project manager and designer. However, Sean, the owner (just realized this), truly shined as the king of operations. Kanna Construction did a great job with our small bathroom remodel. We interviewed several contractors, but ultimately chose Kanna. After meeting with Sean, the owner, we were confident his team could finish the project on time. We were on a strict timeline because we had to move out of our unit during the renovations and into a temporary rental. We had no time for delays, excuses or contractors not showing up. Since we hired Kanna about two months before our project was to begin, Sean could accommodate our schedule. He was even willing to work around our flooring contractor, who had to come in after demo of the bathroom, but prior to finishing work.We created the overall design, since we knew exactly what we wanted, but Sean met with us several times to go over our choices, make suggestions, and ensure everything he needed was on our list. He encouraged us to get everything well in advance, due to shipping delays and unforeseen issues. We were happy we followed his suggestion, since our vanity top and some of our tile arrived broken and had to be reordered. Prior to the commencement of the project, Sean came over to check everything we had purchased.Sean dedicated a specific team to our project, which meant the same project manager, Joaquin, and team showed up every day. We’ve been through larger projects than this one, and contractors not showing up always seems to be an issue. Not with Kanna. They showed up when they said they would show up, and worked efficiently. We encountered a few minor issues here and there, but Sean always made sure they were corrected to our satisfaction. We even added on additional work, the tiled wall behind the vanity, after we had extra tile left over from the shower surround. When the project was complete, Sean stopped by personally to inspect everything and had his team come back to fix small things, to make sure it met his, and our expectations.Sean and his entire team were very pleasant to work with, and Sean answered all our questions and concerns in a timely manner. Overall, we are extremely happy with the outcome. The before and after photographs speak for themselves.

Kanna Construction & Remodeling recently did a large remodel job for us, including the entire kitchen, two full bathrooms and a lot more! We had talked with a few contractors before meeting Sean, and are quite glad with our decision to move forward with him. His team is very quick and friendly, and they did an excellent job. I interviewed six contractors to remodel two bathrooms. Kanna was responsive and their bid was competitive- not the cheapest but not the most expensive.They started on time (within three weeks or so) and the workers were very courteous and concerned about cleaning up. I had no issues leaving the house and having them continue to work.The one issue I had was not having the project leader asking me the right questions about where to place electrical outlets, fixtures, etc. A fee time the work needed to be redone. As this was my first remodel I didn't know what questions to ask but quickly learned. Once we overcame that, and the communication was better, the project went more smoothly.The workmanship was great and Sean, the owner, visited often to ensure things were moving along and issues were addressed (which they were)If I had to do another job I'd use them again.

Sean and his team worked with on a bathroom addition for our home in San Diego. The process from setting up a meeting to getting a quote, through construction, was easy to manage and straightforward. I was working from home while the work was being done and they were great about communicating in advance what work would be done on any given day. They were helpful with design recommendations as well and we're very happy with the final result.As an additional example of their high level of customer service, a few months after our project was wrapped up we noticed a few minor cracks developing in the grouting of our shower. Sean had one of his team members out that same week to patch it up and make sure the issue wouldn't spread.Highly recommend Kanna for your next project.

I was more than pleased with Kanna Construction from beginning to the end of the project. I had a bathroom redone as well as new tile in both the bathroom and adjoining bedroom. We vetted multiple contractors and ultimately we went with Kanna construction. We had a big project in an old house that revealed a lot of 'uh oh' moments because of the age of the home. The Kanna team helped us work through them and look at fixes and alternatives.We did have some trouble in the end with the flooring installation, but, they fixed the issues with no additional cost to us and it turned out fantastic!They stood by their service and I am very impressed with their on-site teams and overall professionalism.If we had another project, I would use them again!

We highly recommend Kanna Construction. We found Dolev Kadosh easy to relate to and appreciated his confidence that what we wanted could be done. We vetted five contractors and chose Kanna for their openness in assisting us in design of bathrooms in an older house. We had two bathrooms remodeled that turned out beautifully. Kanna’s price was right and estimated time to completion accurate. We especially appreciated Kanna’s subcontractor Ken McKinley who was the master craftsman who did all the physical work. He is a master tiler as well. Ken is thoughtful about solving difficult problems and always kept us appraised of his progress. He has a high standard for perfection which is frankly refreshing. Ken worked along side of us for seven weeks as much of our business work is from home. We also have animals, and he took care not to leave the screen door open. Throughout, both Ken and Kanna were personable and respectful to our needs. We can’t say enough about our good fortune to have had him and Kanna do this project; we would call on them again for future projects.

I chose Kanna Construction to remodel and tile the front entance to my home.They were so professional; always on time, focusing on the job through-out each day.They were attentive to each of my questions so I always felt "heard", and, they thoroughly cleaned up at the end of each day.They made sure I knew what stage of the job they were on, and if there was a drying time required. Sean and his team at Kanna Construction made the renovation process so easy, we'll definitely be using them again for our next project!Before we chose to go with Kanna we requested quotes from several bathroom remodeling companies and out of the five we reached out to only two got back to us with a quote, and that was weeks after their consultations. Sean was able to give us a quote the same day he came out for the consultation and it was more competitive than the ones we had received! It was a no-brainer, we signed the contract that night and he had his crew ready the following week.Since we live in a house built in the 1950's, there were several issues we ran in to when remodeling. Sean took what could have been very stressful situations and gave us actual cost conscious solutions to keep the project moving forward. This was our first large home remodeling project and we couldn't be happier with the results! They completely remodeled two bathrooms, repaired our cast iron drainage, and replaced our slab patio with beautiful pavers. They also fit in some smaller projects we eventually wanted to do like removing an old unused wall heater that was taking up space, now it looks like it was never there!The crew was super respectful of our home and made sure things were covered from dust and debris. They communicated well and we never felt like we didn't know what was going on. Sean and his crew made sure the details were looked after and all the work they did looks fantastic! We've gotten so many compliments! We will be going back to them for any future projects for sure. All in all, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

They are professional, honest, attention to detail, worked with my budget, was done on timely manner (finished before Thanksgiving as promised) and remains available for anything if something goes wrong. I highly value these thing in hiring a contractor especially when considering the large investment that goes into a full kitchen remodel.
