Planning a remodel or a full on build out is stressful enough and time consuming all while trying to find a contractor who is going to be straight forward with you.,Our quotes we were getting were all over the place.Thankfully we found Simple Design and Build because they had great reviews and we didn't have to baby sit them to get the job done. We also lucked out with ilai who was on our wavelength in terms of design. So a lot of the time we even let him take the reins when it came to ordering material. With my wife and I both working it was definitely a great value to have the project run on its own.

Hired SDB to renovate my bathroom so I can enjoy it after years of waiting. Working with the team was very smooth. Leon and Ilai worked out all the permit sign offs so that the city has proper records of the change.Team was very professional, communicative, and respective of our schedules. I hired Simple Design and Build team for my bathroom remodel. When i called, the customer rep' responded politely and sent the team in the following day. A team of two, Leon and Ilai came and started their work as soon as the permit approved.Not to mention, I am also amazed by the final look as they installed new tiles, vanity, and a tub that I chose, vanity mirror's frame and rain shower, are my wife's love now! Overall, it was an A-game.

The work was completed quickly and the communication and customer service, especially from Leon, was outstanding. The structures turned out exactly how we wanted them. They came right on time as scheduled. Helped with the design and the inputs of the construction that we didn't understand much before the renovation. our bathroom quickly and completely. Ilai and Leon even checked the entire outdoor patio to insure all of the screens were secure without us asking. Very nice to work with. Highly recommend.

Equally important is the superb communication process thru out the whole remodel and the continued accommodation to the homeowners by Ilai the project manager. We appreciate the smooth operations. So, actually randomly used the internet to get a quotes from few contractors one of the few to reponse was Simple Design and Build. Not only were they quick to respond, professional, and had great follow up questions, but Ilai and Leon was super personable, understood what our priorities were, and brought detailed options for layout that helped us to get an idea for design and look. The estimates were spot on and we knew ever step of the way to expect. The project was completed within the timeline he originally provided even after there was a difference between the city plans pre requested and what was within our walls. Leon is kind and trustworthy, and has a great eye for detail.We will definitely do our next project with them ! Thanks again to Leon, Ilai and Simple Design and Build

Leon from Simple came out to consult. I don't know if it was because we are 2 women but he talked over us & then said we should do something entirely different than what we'd discussed. We were looking for an art studio w/deck. Be said it's too expensive; we should do an ADU. This is even though he has no idea what our budget is.We additionally want a kitchen remodeling and went through the kitchen, telling him about the new countertops, sink, and DW we want. He asked about cabinetry and seemed disappointed when we said those would not be changing.At the end, he said 'figure out what you want out back and then we'll talk, and in the meantime I'll work up a quote on the kitchen'. We never heard from him; its been ~2 weeks. Even if we do hear from him now, there's no way we'd go with Simple.Instead of a client-centered consult, we got a company-centered one.
