I received multiple quotes from other Solar installers before deciding to go with CERVUS and they either A) charge way over market rate and tried to hide it behind a longer loan term B) install cheap no-name panels to get you a price that looks appealing C) communicate terribly, where I actively had to follow up on my own emails and calls (god forbid you have an issue).CERVUS was the opposite of all that. The quote was fair and at market rate, the panels they install are well known panels with great reviews from a trusted solar manufacturer with warranty, and the communication from start to finish with every member of their team was excellent.Keep in mind that the quality of people who you will work with on your solar project is just as important as the project itself. Peter and the whole CERVUS team are top tier.

I was recommended to Cervus Solar & Construction by my brother who used them for his solar installation . After shopping around with many solar companies I decided to have Cervus Solar & Construction do my solar installation. Let me tell you, it was the best decision I made .From the start to finish Peter handles every process of the installation from dealing with the electric company , working with with the inspectors and making sure the installation went smoothly . Any questions I had , Peter was always there to answer.It’s been a year since my installation and I have had no issues with my solar. Most importantly my electric bill is almost non existent ! What a great experience I had with Peter and Cervus. Got several quotes and Cervus was the best and they were also a local solar company and not a broker. Peter and his crew came out promptly and assessed the roof to submit to the city. Inspection passed with one minor change and off it went to Edison for final approval and permission to operate. It took longer than expected, not because of Cervus, but SCE was backlogged with tons of applications due to NEM2 deadline. Even during the long process, Peter checked on me oftentimes to give me updates. He has been always professional and courteous during the whole process. He checked on me again a month after solar became active. My bill was $0 for this month! Thank you Cervus and Peter especially, for being just a great company to work with!

Highly recommend Cervus Solar & Construction! I worked with Peter and he is a lifesaver. I had solar installed on my house by a previous contractor 3 years ago, but it wasn't producing energy. My previous contractor did a good install, but unknown to me, they didn't complete the job. They didn't make sure the inverter was working nor did they setup my account so I could see how my solar was performing. My contractor has been ghosting me ever since they received payment and left the jobsite. PETER TOOK CARE OF ALL MY PROBLEMS. Peter fixed my inverter and made some calls to get my account set up. He took the time to show me how the app works and answered all my questions. He was very friendly and you can tell that customer service is very important to him (unlike my previous contractor). Now my solar is producing energy and I'm on my way to seeing the savings that I should have been seeing for the last 3 years. If I need more solar panels in the future, I'll definitely be hiring Pete. I'm so grateful!!!

Had some trouble with Edison but was grateful Art still stayed connected with us and made calls and made us feel supported. We have had the system for a few months and have started to see savings already and in the negative with Edison. Looking forward to the summer months when it will really make the difference. We saved quite a bit going with Cervus (5-6000 ish) and had quotes from several different companies, I’m happy with the purchase and would recommend.

I want to start of by saying that I got quotes from at least 6 solar companies. The majority felt overpriced, I felt pressured by their salesperson and their length of how long it would take to get the panels going was quite lengthy. I can say that Cervus didn’t fall into any of those categories. Peter was very professional from the beginning. He informed me right away on how solar works, the benefits, the cost, the length and the process. I never felt like Peter was a salesperson but instead an honest individual that was trying to help make a good decision and never did I feel pressured. Secondly, his staff was always on time and professional. Throughout the process Peter would come to see the progress and answer my questions on any day or time.The pricing was way more affordable then the other companies and there weren’t any hidden fees. I am very pleased with the product I received for the price I paid. Cervus offers panels that the other sole companies. Lastly, the timing exceeded my expectations. Most companies gave me months, well that wasn’t the case with Cervus. They process was smooth and fast. Never did the city have any issues with the process and now I am off to saving money instead of paying for electricity. Lastly, the customer service is what made them stand out even more. Thank you Peter and Cervus for providing great Cervus with a great product during the process.
