R&C are my new go-to for heating and air. They were very responsive when I initially reached out to them (rare these days) and came out the next day. They were thorough, clearly communicated the issue, and did what they could to resolve it. They are also super friendly and patient, helping me learn how to use my new thermostat and the accompanying app. Overall, quality work, reasonable pricing and reliable staff makes R&C a company I would highly recommend.

Lucas and Luiz are excellent at their craft at R&C AC and heating. They removed and installed a AC new unit on my roof. They even helped me out for the City of LA rebate, wow!. My unit runs great and have had no issues throughout this extremely hot summer. Rooftop units are very sensitive to install and these guys made it look like child's play on the install. They were professional, clean and fast. We even purchased a maintenance plan, to come out quarterly to keep things running smoothly. R&C Heating and Cooling Service is top-notch!I am typically distrustful of most service-oriented companies these days. I worry that many companies try and upcharge or "find" issues to charge you for.After a few visits, I am greatly impressed with Luiz and R&C Heating and Cooling. First of all, they are very knowledgeable about heating/cooling. Most importantly, Luis is honest and straight-forward. I called a few companies and found that R&C's prices were very reasonable. Not as cheap and unlicensed folks journeyman you may want to take a chance with on Craiglist. But R&C's princes are pretty fair in terms of legitimate fully licenses heating and cooling companies. I can respect that. I think R&C is conscious of trying not to overcharge.Luis is mild-mannered and efficient. I fully trust Luis. Its good to have a company where you don't have to have anxiety everything they come because they will guilt you into buying and paying for services you don't, in your gut, feel you need.You can tell Luis cares about good customer service. Yesterday, he came by and service my heating unit although I had tried to reschedule. It ended up being better and convenient that he came. But Luis was still concerned after I assured him it was not a problem, but actually a good thing. That should tell you how concerned he is with customer satisfaction.Scheduling is easy and convenient as well. Can be taken of via email or text.I would HIGHLY recommend Luis and R&C!

I highly endorse R&C Heating and Cooling. I had inspections and bids from five installers. R&C – Lucas and Luiz were by far the most diligent in their inspection, clear discussion of equipment, selection of flex pipe routes, electric power requirements, and great pricing. They are easy to work with, clear on what and when work will be done, on time, excellent communicators, responsive, and very professional. We had a four-head and single compressor Mitsubishi system installed for less than $18K, while others including Costco wanted $28K. The work took a reasonable two days to complete including time to instruct my wife and I on the use of the system. They were meticulous – looking at details – for example every exterior/interior connection caulked, every piece of equipment leveled, taking time to “get it just right”. When LADBS inspector came and asked for small changes R&C made the changes the same day. I have worked with many trade contractors - plumbers, electricians, roofers, but the R&C are the BEST! I would hire them again. Highly recommended. March 2024

In two words, excellent service. I called because of a very old wall heater that was no longer heating adequately. Luiz said they would come be the next morning at 11am. They were there at 10:30am, did a thorough check and evaluation of the old heater and we agreed it was time to replace it. Luiz and Lucas said they would send me a email of the evaluation and a price, which arrived that evening. They said they would pickup the new heater and be at the apartment at 11am the next morning. They called at 9am to say they would be at the apartment at 10:30am and they were. They worked all day, including modifications to the wall openings and the venting pipe on the roof. All the work was finished by 4:30pm. My look at everything showed excellent, careful, meticulous work. I was satisfied that the installation was complete. Two evening later the tenant reported that the new heater was not heating. I called at 7pm and left a message thinking I'd head back the next morning. Not so...Luiz called within a half hour and aid they'd be back to check everything the next morning. As promised, they checked everything out and found a sensor that was over heating from being on the back side of the two way heater. It was corrected and within a hour all was working OK. I would definitely recommend Luiz and Lucas without reservations. They seem committed to providing the highest quality service and my experiences indicate they do that in every aspect of the work they do...from the very first phone conversation to the final inspection of the completed installation. Work done 1/16/24 and 1/19/24.

We've been looking for a good honest reliable HVAC company for a couple years now. I own a townhome in a 5 unit building and we are soooo happy we found R&C Heating and Cooling.Luiz & Lucas were very professional from the very first contact. They got back to me quickly (some of the other companies still haven't returned my call), and they gave a reasonable quote to do the maintenance on all of the units.From the time they spent and what we could see and hear going on, they did a more thorough maintenance than we've ever had before.A few of the units needed additional service and repair and they gave us detailed explanations with photos and even came in person to describe what needed to be done. They make sure you understand everything.Their prices are very reasonable and their work ethic is outstanding.Again they arrived on time to do the additional work and didn't leave until each unit was functioning properly.
