We recently used Knox Roofing for a roof on our ADU and were very pleased with the materials, workmanship, and the prompt, professional manner in which the job was completed. We had previously used a different company for our main house, but their workers, in comparison to Knox's workers, lacked the skill and care that the workers from Knox Roofing demonstrated. We now realize that Knox Roofing's prices reflect the professionalism and quality they provide, and we regret choosing the previous roofing company based solely on price. As the saying goes, 'you get what you pay for'.

We interviewed two other roofing companies and were very impressed when Warren Knox came to estimate our job. His "no smoke and mirrors" approach was welcomed. He gave us an info packet with his certifications and awards as well as a four page list of his previous completed job to view.The team showed up and immediately stripped our large tile roof. No issues to reports other than they worked quickly and respected our property. They cleaned up thoroughly every day.When dry rot was found they provided photos and prompt estimates as well as competent repairs.We were very pleased with the finished product but even more pleased at the quality of the work and team that did the job.A first class experience!Services: Roof installation, Roof damage repair

Knox Roofing built a nice 40-year roof at top-dollar, but after 10 years a portion of the gutters that they poorly re-installed fell down and became damaged (we discovered that more than 1/2 the hangers were missing in that 25 foot section)! So, when this happened several years ago I thought I’d call to give them an opportunity to rectify the situation and keep me as a happy customer — but my call was never returned. With the recent rains and a badly leaking gutter I left another message directly with Warren Knox, but again with no reply. Some might say that 10 years is too long to raise this issue (though that’s their labor guarantee), but correcting their crew’s rushed mistake would be quick and easy and keep me as a loyal customer instead of an unhappy one with other roofs to maintain. Not one-star, but a disappointed two.

Work was done on-time and with high quality. The original estimate was low - lower than expected, but after they started working and discovered all of the issues with the roof, a change order both covered all the issues and ended up with a beautiful new roof within budget. The fact that they used a lot of workers meant that disruptions were kept to a minimum. I was very satisfied with the end result.

The roof they put on (2016) 4 years ago has leaked 5 times. given they do eventually come out and repair it a brand new roof shouldn't be leaking every single time it rains. Its causing damage to my walls and interior. I was told that the roofer that did the work used nails that were too short and they had to replace the whole peak. everything's been downhill from there. This last time I called because water was running into my bedroom they didn't even bother to come out. Not even sure what to do at this point cant afford another new roof and this one is under warranty still. I will call them again next time it rains.edit.. it is now 6 years later and it has leaked and needed fixing every single year since installation and twice this year. I need to call them again because its leaking in my bathroom... again...Edit.... Jan and Feb and March of 2024 the roof is leaking again of course and they won't come out to fix it. Someone has come out 4 different times to place plastic up on my roof but they haven't come to fix it. I contacted Warren and they now won't return my emails anymore. I'm going to have to replace a 30 year roof after 7 years. We spent good money on this roof and expected it to last at least the 10 years it's warranty is for.

I wish I could put 0 stars.My roof was brand new last year... and after a few weeks, on the first rain we woke up to a lot of leaks. I had to call not once, nor twice.. more like 5-7 time and the slowly fixed the issue. Last time they came (last year) the problem was "solve" only because we didn't have rain after that. So, took all rain season and now.. this year.. a 1 year old roof... we woke up to leaks again. My advice stay away from them!!! Now I am here having to waste my morning making phone calls, taking more pictures and gathering all I have to find a good lawyer IF they don't fix this problem for once and all. I should not be going through this.. and I hope with this I can prevent other from going through the same.

The Knox Roofing owner, managers and employee's were all top notch and professional. If any issues or concerns arose they took care of it in a timely manner. The cost of the new roof was very reasonable and the roofing job was completed in 3 days. I am happy to recommend Knox Roofing to anyone needing repairs or a roof replacement. If you get a chance stop by their showroom they have a lot of unique wooden carvings, sculptures, furniture, bird houses, Knox garden boxes and more.

We've personally used Knox Roofing 3 times. They did our Roof in Santa Cruz, CA 14 years ago, our flat roof areas 5 years ago, and just this year re-did our natural Wood Shingle Siding, all 3 times did an EXCELLENT job!. They are by far, the most professional, customer service oriented Roofing company I have ever used. As a Coldwell Banker real estate Broker and professional Property Manager, they are always referred first because they are not only the most professional, but also reasonably priced. Warren the owner came out personally to bid the job and Rick was especially superb in executing the job-they take good care of their customers. I highly recommend Knox Roofing!

The clearly do not care about wearing masks or spreading Covid. I had an incident while picking up food at Snow White with a Knox Roofing person driving a Knox Truck who I believe is the owner. I was next to pick up my food. He had no mask on him. He clearly saw me raise my mask when he got close to me. He clearly saw the many signs posted. He clearly just didn't care. My bedridden mother cares. I care. The employees at my work and our clients care. I sent them messages hoping to get a reply in a considerate manor but they read it and chose to ignore it. THEY DON'T CARE.

Recently has a complete new roof installed. They did a tip top job, more than I expected and at a much lower price than other roofers. Workers were very polite and cleaned up at the end of every day. By the way... I love his cheesy commercials! At least they are funny, sincere, and to the point.

Knox Roofing is a top-notch firm. They focus on a quality job and don't cut corners. Other roofers might promise a job on the cheap but you'll pay more in the end. They also go by the book on their workers' safety. As a home owner, I don't want to be held liable for cutting corners on worker safety. And, their people are friendly. AAA

Company drives work trucks aggressively, tailgating people with their brights on, for miles. Literally inches from your back bumper, changing lanes with you when you try to escape from them. Extremely irratic behavior from the driver, not sure if they were drunk or just enjoy bullying other cars for fun.

Dakota Carson, the President of the company, was personally involved and on the roof with his men to make repairs to our natural slate roof. They made repairs in addition to what was contracted for, without an additional charge, to insure that the roof was in tip top condition. While working on my roof at my apartment complex Knox Roofing employees ended up dropping large (6"x6") pieces of sheet metal (with sharp edges) and other debris off my roof that put 2 holes in a green house that I use for an artist studio on my porch!!! Now I have to get it replaced, especially before the rain, so everything inside doesn't get ruined!!!! This seems like a real safety issue, and their lack of positive communication to get this resolved is astounding!

Stopped here when I saw a large amount of Manzanita they had in their yard. I was looking for driftwood for my aquarium and the owner let me take some premium wood for a low price. The guy working in the yard was super helpful and was an aquascaping hobbyist himself, he had some good advice for me. I didn't use them for actual roofing, but I can say that if that guy in the yard that day is working on your house, you're in good hands.

Very poor customer relations, and business practices. They got burned by another customer, therefore asked for 100% payment upfront from me before starting my job. Who in their right mind would pay a contractor 100% upfront, before they start a job. It is surprising to me that they have been in business so long.

I requested an invoice from Knox Roofing about a month ago and I have yet to receive one. The customer should not be requesting an invoice for a job that needs to be repaired. Unbelievable! Plus the receptionist that answers the phone is the most unfriendly person.
