John is the best plumber you could ever need. We called him to pump out our septic tank that was under a concrete car port. His crew showed up on time and performed all the work in a very professional manner. Half way through cutting out the concrete, we had an offer to buy a home accepted and we asked John to certify our system. John added on this responsibility with no interruption in the work schedule. A major glitch came up in finishing the job because of the placement of the tank. John came up with an excellent solution and, again, there was no interruption in the work schedule. In fact, John performed the detailed final work himself. Being a retired contractor, I know how expensive changes to the job can be. But John charged us very little for all we asked. In short, they performed the work in a timely, professional manner and showed up every day, completing the job extremely well. Wish I could take John to Arizona with me.

Had a water leak at the main line coming into the home, three foot underground. It was beyond my plumbing repairs skills, so we called John. He was friendly, courteous, and started a repair quickly. Within an hour, it was done, just waiting on the glues to dry.And his price was far more than fair: less than I expected to pay for an "emergency" call, I would recommend anyone needing a good, competent professional plumber call John.

John saved my day. He arrived within two hours to my home in bear valley springs. He was able to quickly fix the issue and get my water going inside again. We had a septic backed up at one of our rental houses so I exposed the lid and John came out and opened the lid and showed us where the problem was. It was just blocked at the inlet pipe. He cleared it in a few seconds. We were back up and running. He did not even charge us. He has the best reviews for a reason. Thanks John.

Annie was an angel! My elderly mother’s toilet started leaking on a Sunday. We called and left messages for many Tehachapi plumbers. Annie called back at 7:30am the next day and came over five minutes after that. She quickly found the leak and fixed the toilet. She was incredibly patient and answered all of our questions. She cleaned everything up and left the bathroom better than it was before. She was incredibly kind and attentive to my elderly mother. Eternally Grateful. I called them in desperation after five days of no water and dealing with my home warranty insurance. They went out of their way, made me feel assured this nightmare would end, and fixed the break today which I was prepared to wait through the weekend for my scheduled appointment on Tuesday. Don't remember names but the two girls I spoke with on the phone showed me more compassion than the dozen or so customer service reps I spent hours on end on hold these past five days. The plumber who came out today was great, didn't make me feel like a burden and fixed the break. Thank you a billion times over!!!!

We recently called John to help us find out what was going on with our ancient water heater. He came that very day (and I know how busy he and his staff are), checked it out and said it was on its last legs...no surprise to us. He said he had that type of water heater in stock (wow!) and they could schedule it for the next day or so. He sent Mark, a very knowledgeable plumber who spent hours there, getting the old water heater out and getting the new one put in. The price was absolutely fair, the service was wonderful, and we now have hot water for many years to come. I would recommend John the Plumber always because of the great service and great price. I recently had an emergency at like 7pm. Shower would not shutoff. Contacted John the plumber, not expecting any help that evening. Boy was I surprised! I think the service fee is more expensive in Kern County than Los Angeles. One guy asked me over $200+ for replacing faucet undersink due to leaking issue. However, John charged me per hour with reasonable rate with respectable service. I highly recommend them If you are living in Tehachapi or Mojave. Thank you John.

Finally, someone that does thing right! Always fast, ALWAYS courteous, NEVER over charges. John Nelson learned proper from his Momma. This guy takes care of his clients like they are his friends. He never looks for a quick buck or a way to cheat you.On another note, when tragedy strikes our community, he and his wife are some of the first people to respond with charity, usually in the form of action.
