We are very happy with our roof! We had several leaks in our old roof and knew it was time to make the big move to replace the entire thing last summer. We received several bids and went with Northern California Roofing.Looking back, going with NCR was a decision that we are VERY happy with. Andy took a lot of his time educating us; first on what a roofing system consisted of, how each component interacted with each other, how each layer of protection worked, why certain pieces were important, why others were cosmetic...After a roofing bid, if you're not able to accurately describe these things in detail to a friend, a neighbor, a coworker, and explain HOW a roof works and why you've picked the one you did, I'd encourage you to give NCR a call.Replacing roofs is an infrequent and expensive endeavor, you want to know that your roofer will stand behind their work. NCR will do a phenomenal job, as they did with our roof.

From the beginning of the project to the last nail, Andy Adams handled the project professionally and kept it on time. All the work team were excellent and Leo, who was the head of the roofers, was also helpful and considerate. There was some dry rot which they repaired to our satisfaction. They cleaned up when the job was finished, with just a few nails left behind. I recommend them with five stars. Thanks, guys. I appreciate that they came out and took a look at my project (broken fascia/sloping roof overhang) but their assessment was puzzling and I was given quite the runaround.First he thought it was a crooked gutter until I showed him the obviously broken beam.He then went up on the roof to look. Said I would need to contact the city for a building permit and assessment because it might be structural. I contacted the city and they said they give those to CONTRACTORS only and that the company I'm working with will know this. I told him that and he said "go down town and show them pictures anyways"Not wasting my time to do that when I already received an answer. Already wasted my time with this consult anyways.

I needed a major roof repair after the heavy winter rains (due to leaks).I mainly dealt with Andy Adams as the person primarily responsible for doing the repair estimate and preparing the contract. I found him to be excellent to work with: on time for meetings with me, very knowledgeable, and willing to patiently answer all my questions.All the people at the company were very busy in spring and summer dealing with the extraordinary number of homes with roof damage so the whole repair process took longer than I would have liked. I am happy with the results of our reroofing job. We got the CertainTeed Presidential TL shingles in Country Grey and love the look. The installers were fast and professional. I think from start to finish it took maybe 4 to 5 days. I was surprised at the speed considering we had heavy concrete tile roof. Over the years we were growing more frustrated with the leaks of our old roof and continual repair every 2 to 5 years. Northern California Roofing wasn't the cheapest estimate we got. But we chose them based on the professionalism of Charlie and they're reputation for quality work. We are happy with the final product and continue to admire our new roof whenever we look up.

Had Northern California Roofing Company remove old roof, and check for leaks, which were very apparent. Quote was professional and covered all possible issues, which would not be known until old roofing material was removed.Found and repaired bad wood, installed new roofing material, and rain gutters. Actual cost came in only $150.00 over initial quote, after repairing the bad wood on the roof and patio.Job was completed in May, 2022. Wanted to wait until some storms came through to get a better idea of the quality of the work. So after the many, many atmospheric rivers of 2023, the roof is doing its job phenomenally. I could not ask for a better outcome from the torrential rains and high winds.All the individuals I was in contact with were professional, courteous, and overall pleasant to deal with. I highly recommend this company to anyone that needs any roof repairs. Great job at a reasonable price. I live in Martinez, CAI apologize that this review being so long, but Andy and Northern California Roofing did a great job - this is a 1-year review after installation.Andy worked with my wife and I to decide the color, texture, ventilation and gutters of our roof. Andy, with his polite and professional personality, gave us not only a great roof, but actually a roof "System".Andy also worked with our solar installer to coordinate the roof/solar installation and it was done seamlessly. All the trades worked together without any issues or delays.I had a "punch-list/questions" after the work was completed and Andy had his crew come out to take care of all of our concerns immediately. The crew discussed/corrected all of my concerns and even did extra detail work that I didn't think was a big deal. I was impressed with their regard to high quality workmanship and pride in what they build.I had 3-4 quotes for my project. All the contractors were competent, and the price structure was within the same ballpark. But Andy was so polite and professional that I knew if there was an issue, he would work with me to make things right.But the primary factor was the quality of the materials Andy presented that exceeded the quality quoted by the other contactors.It's been a year now, and after all the rain we've had I went on the roof to clean the solar panels, check the gutters, and inspect the roof.The materials and workmanship of the shingle installation, utility venting covers, ridgeline vents and the gutters/down pipes are perfect.After a year, and the heavy rains, I'm glad we went with Andy and Northern California Roofing.Services: Gutter installation, Roof installation, Attic venting installation
