Spoke with the owner who confirmed I did receive service from their company, contrary to their response below.I paid ~ $250 for no benefit. What I was requesting was not out of the ordinary, shim a few doors and replace weatherstripping on one door.The technician told me I would not be billed for time he spent going to and from the hardware store - I was. He should not have needed to go to the hardware store, I provided photos and clear description of what was needed when booking.The technician showed up trying to perform a different service than I requested, without the needed materials to perform the requested service. Wanted to bend the pins in my door hinges instead of doing a proper fix. After going to / from the store multiple times, he told me he couldn't fix my doors that day.The tech also installled something other than weather stripping and assured me it would work well. I later had water intrusion into my home from that door and had to have someone else perform the proper installation.My experience was costly and ineffective.

Andrew from Ace Handyman did some repair work to reattach some flashing that had come loose on our patio cover. Andrew is much more than just a "Handyman," he is a carpenter and has the required professional carpentry skills. He was a pleasure to work with. He went out of his way to call the evening before the job was scheduled to confirm the appointment. Then followed up with a text the morning of the appointment to let us know that he was on the way and sure enough he showed up on time and ready to tackle the job.Andrew took the time to explain what was needed to reattach the flashing. He also took the time to do the job correctly, i.e., he added some 1 X 2 wood strips under the flashing prior to reattaching it to give the flashing much better support -- this was something the original patio cover installer probably should have done but didn't.Andrew was courteous, quick and professional while completing the job. I would highly recommend him and we intend to call Ace Handyman and specifically request Andrew for any future needs we have.

Tyler did an excellent job of providing a solid temporary repair of my "leaning" slatted patio cover. I now have confidence that the cover will be stable for the next few months while I decide to either have it completely replaced or torn down. Thanks Tyler!! Good job.

I've had the pleasure of hiring ACE handyman three times now, and I can't say enough good things about them. They are always on time, professional, and go above and beyond what's expected. For example, when they hung my Christmas lights, they also added timers for all of the sets, which has been a huge convenience. I highly recommend ACE handyman for any of your home improvement needs.

Mike was aboulutely "Johnny on the spot" with our leaking roof. While a little pricey, I think that Ace is worth it because of their skill, professionalism, and no-nonsense speed at resolving issues like our leaking roof. With any luck, no further repair has to be done in our particular situation. Additionally, thier staff over the phone were awesome and made every effort to help us fast when time was of the essence. Kudos to Ace company, and Mike for coming out so quickly. Respect!

Total rip off. I called and told them I needed lights hung. He never brought a ladder. I waited 8 hours to have these lights hung up because these people only have one ladder between all of them! He quoted me $189 and when it was all done it cost me $254! Total rip off. These guys suck! Use them if you want to get ripped off.

To be fair, they were having issues with employees, BUT I scheduled them to replace a bathroom tile floor. I bought the tile, grout, spacers & they rescheduled 2 times before they finally told me they couldn't do it. They also cost twice as much as the handyman I ended up hiring.

Called Thursday of last week to schedule for two ceiling fans to be installed. Apparently Josh the owner is absent, so I talked to a Jordan. They booked me for 10am the following Wednesday. I asked for them to send me a quote since I wanted to compare with other companies. The following week comes along and on Monday I still don't have a quote. I email Josh and I get an auto reply saying that he's on leave and to email another email address. Wednesday rolls in and still no quote. I call the number at 830ish in the morning, the third party call service says they will send the message to the local Ace Handy Service and they will confirm with me soon. 9am another call, same message. 10am no one came to install my ceiling fan, no calls, no email, no communication whatsoever. I took a half day for this and they don't even have the courtesy to apologize. At noon, I get a garbled voicemail asking me to call them back. I did and yet again, no one answered the call. Ridiculous. Save yourself from the trouble and don't go with this horrible company. They have no idea what tf they are doing. You'll only be wasting your time.

Ace Handyman Services charged me over $1300 for an absolutely terrible job on my front door. The quality of work was awful and they intentionally installed the wrong materials, which only proved their incompetence. They even violated the terms of their own contract which states that they would get signed approval of an estimate of the project costs. Then when I complained, owner Josh Lindsay refused to make things right or even discuss my dissatisfaction.My only option now is to start legal proceedings against Ace Handyman Services, which is unfortunate because I made every effort to work things out privately.

Two weather-damaged exterior wood window trims needed to be removed and replaced. Josh came to inspect the existing trim and write an estimate, and Eric came a few days later to do the work. Both were very courteous and professional, the work was excellent and done in a timely manner, and the final cost stayed within my budget. The gentleman, Nate, doing the repair used time in mixing the solution 3 times because the first batch was too hard, then the second batch too watery. I feel that, although, Nate was nice, he maybe needed more training or oversight. He used time that I was paying for to get the job done correctly.Another note is that I sent an email back to the original quote asking a question about materials but I never received an answer back. When Nate, the worker arrived, I asked about this and he was kind enough to call Josh, his boss, but Josh didn’t answer his phone at that time.
