This location has a very nice garden section. The service is welcoming and friendly. But, be careful.. I saw this succulent that was turning poorly it looked like it would need to be saved. The garden person actually reduced it. I bought it and left it alone for weeks. I decided to check out its roots (it was still struggling). To my surprise it had no roots. If you are concerned about this sort of thing, ask for assistance (like I should have).

I was very upset with Home Depot. Have caution when you order from Home Depot and have it delivered. We order a tub shower with walls. Only the tube was delivered. Home Depot would not just order the missing pieces. But they made me order a whole new set. Won't give me a refund on the first part until they get it back and deliver the new one, and no discounts until the new one delivered. Total B.S. I have lost faith and trust in the Home Depot brand

Truck rental, their vehicles are beat up make sure you take pictures or videos before you leave so you don't get charges. An get gas because they charge $11 a gallon if they have to fuel it.

None of the staff for any of the managers ever know wear anything is they could have been working there for in the same location for the past 5 years and still have no idea where anything is they all have to look at their phone even though things don't move in their store unless they move them home depot's pathetic not worth the prices or power equipment there not repairable

Lovely bare root rose selections this time of year! We purchased heavy stepping stones and found checkout to be seamless. There was a lot technician waiting for us to checkout; he escorted us to our car and loaded everything in no time! This was exemplary service on a Sunday morning - so great!

They tried to give me store credit back on a purchase I made with cash and had a receipt for and then refused to return an item I did not have a receipt for store credit despite that being the company policy. Never had these issues at any other Home Depot location.

Erin and Carlos from the Blinds section helped us with the cutting of our blinds and ordering custom sized. Guess what, El Monte and Baldwin Park branches staff just disappeared on us and made us wait more than 45 mins while waiting for help to someone to cut the blinds when you see a lot of staff just standing and pretending to be busy by wiping the bottles on display stand. It took Carlos a minute to cut the blinds thats why I don’t understand why the guys in El Monte branch and Baldwin Park took forever to do it. Just go to this branch in West Covina or Monrovia where the staff are helpful.

Stock is sometimes hit and miss due to supply chain issues I was told. Sometimes the associates are available and helpful. Other times I can’t find anybody to help at all, are on break or the department is uncovered. The parking lot has a lot of vendors selling fruit but are not aggressive as other Depots. Day laboreres and junk haulers stay to the back. Prices fluctuate wildly compared to the Big L. Some items are overpriced but sale items are good deals

I always frequent this Home Depot since I live in the area. Always has what I need to get. Staff is helpful and professional. Only downfall is plainclothes store security and staff followed me everywhere I went in the store. Not the first time this the 3rd time. I came dressed differently to see maybe I was tripping. But no my suspension was confirmed I was being followed. Not coincidence that the Same employee kept popping up all over the store at same isles as myself. Same as the plainclothes security. It's to obvious that you make it awkward, frustrating and funny at the same time. I always ask them to help sarcastically since they're everywhere I am. I always pay with my card in front of a worker at the self-checkout and ask for help so I don't get accused. I usually order online for the same reason. But all in all I find everything most of the time.

I took my kids this morning to home Depot for the kids workshop they had going on. December's workshop was to build a Christmas countdown calendar. All Home depot staff in the workshop area were extremely friendly. It was our first time for the kids workshop we will definitely return in the future.

The Home Depot in Covina has been a respite from the mess at the Baldwin Park Home Depot. There have not been food vendors and day workers filling the parking lot. Ultimately this leads to increased theft and trash everywhere. Today there were a couple of food vendors that were camped out. This is not a good trend. I stopped going to the BP HD because it had so much blatant theft. Literally people would steal from the HD and run out to the cheering day workers and food vendors. Looks like Covina is not trying to discourage this behavior anymore.

Horrible customer service this morning at the garage door department. I was told to wait for 10minutes while they were on the phone talking they told me they can't help me cause they were on hold for 20minutes trying to reach someone. I wouldn't have to wait if the item was stocked. Please be on top of your game home depot west covina!! 🙏

Been going the this Home Depot for a very long time and I’ve always found what I’m looking for as well. Also going through the store I’ve been asked always if I needed help , and if I do it’s exactly where I was told and that’s awesome. Another thing as well it’s clean and always picked up. I highly recommend this store for sure !

Hey what can I say I shop at both places I shop at the big H and also at the big L you both places are great can't complain about them sometimes when you can save a dollar here and there well you go with the flow because you're the only that knows what's in your wallet and if you can save why not. I have spent thousands at Home Depot, but I will never shop here again. They stole from me. I bought laminate and under laminate at Home Depot. I tried to return the laminate and I was falsely told that I cannot return it because I had the wrong credit card. (I had the right credit card.) Then when I brought my wife I found out that it was the right credit card, but it is past 90 days so I cannot get store credit. This seems like theft to me. Then I talked to a manager, and he said "sorry" because it was past 90 days. I thought they should have taken into account the fact that I tried to return stuff and was given false information. Nope. I do not spend my money at places that steal from me. Stay away. This company is now as honest as a sketchy timeshare company.

I’ve been a customer for years, it has all the needs one could need for your home, but just recently I’ve went to self checkout and a girl employee came to when while in line and said I’ll help you here, okay it’s self checkout for a reason and she doesn’t need to be on top of me, I like doing things on my own, so please respect that people go to self checkout to do things on your own!

The service here is mediocre, but selections are great. It has everything you would need at a home depot, and is well-maintained. For those interested in botanical... things, look no further, because they have a giant section of flowers and trees and such.

Was not allowed to return the water pump. I don’t know what I do with the receipt. I don’t want no money just exchange they will not honor it. I go on there to try and get a water filter. They don’t know what filter. They said I need for me just to look it up online so much for their help.

I had a wonderful experience today when I went in to make a big purchase to remodel my home. The clerk Esmeralda was beyond helpful and patient with me. I had so many questions, and she answered all of them. I'm so happy she attended me. She has the best customer service. I've been to this location several times and this is the first time someone was so nice and helpful. Thank you Esmeralda you are awesome!!

Super friendly staff. The district managers were in today. Everyone was really helpful. The store manager helped us out. He was very knowledgeable about the power tools we are thinking about purchasing. We will be back.
