Have the company replaced my house with brand new roof about 10 years ago, with 10 years warranty. 7 years after, during the heavy rain, the roof leaked. Call them and inspector come; Took few IR camera pictures. Result: leak is not included! It will cost me $675 to fix it. I HAVE A COMPLETE ROOF REPLACEMENT AND THE LEAK IS NOT INCLUDED! REALLY?

Used my address as reference on their marketing materials - but would not answer when I inquired about a loud metal banging sound that I kept hearing on my roof with any wind. I indicated that there appears to be loose metal flashing at the ridgeline of the second story and the receptionist who was very defensive upon answering the phone responded with anything could have happened since installation including that I could have hired other contractors could have gone up there to loosen it!?! Then she asked me to prove that they did the work as if using my address on marketing materials was not enough. So I furnished a copy of the building permit filed with the city and heard nothing from them. Next stop CSLB complaint and all of you should do the same if you made the mistake of using them.

Bad customer service is not even the word for it! Sunshine Roofing's employee, Mariam scheduled & confirmed an appointment to have my roof inspected for a leak and never showed. I was given a time window for when the inspection was to be. I took off time from work to be home & the guy never showed. Sunshine Roofing made NO EFFORT to let me know the guy was not going to be able to keep his appointment. I made several calls & left messages after the schedule time had passed inquiring if the guy was going to show and no return call. It's been 3 days now and still no call. UNBELIEVABLE! To me, this company does not care about it's business. If Sunshine Roofing does not care about their business, why would they care if they do their job well or to make you a satisfied customer. I HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND SUNSHINE ROOFING.

Gave them a call due to my Mother's 35 year old house roof failing. The guy that came for our estiamte was about 30minute late, however he was very informative of what needs to be done and gave us plenty of options we could do to replace the roof. Out of the 5 roofers we have found, some of which were referred by friends and family, Sunshine was the most reasonable priced. Took them about 2 weeks to demo and install our new roof, and their workers did a fantastic job keeping the place clean. Their tile installers took their time and the results showed. One of our neighbors who recently got a new roof done was not installed as good as Sunshine did, and my mother is very happy with how her new roof turned out! Glad we chose Sunshine for our job!

Can I rate them a ZERO? Not only did they do a shoddy job, not only didn’t they comply with the contract, worst of all, they found "ISSUES" only after they removed my existing roof. They then demanded more money which to me was was extortion pure and simple.They also used questionable material not on the work order, and prior to installation, when we questioned its use, Michael Chang (the real owner) angrily threatened to cancel the project and walk off the job, leaving our home exposed to the weather in the middle of winter – can you say JERK!Michael Chang suffers from a total lack of morals and has no ethics. He will cut corners, change the material behind your back, and his lackeys do substandard work.PROTECT YOUR HOME AND STAY AWAY FROM SUNSHINE ROOFING!

First, I called to setup appointment for them to check the roof. They didn't show up without telling me. Then, the receptionist setup another appointment for me, also nobody show up. I called again, and she make another appointment for me, then I wait more than 1 week, and still I didn't get any news.

Terrible company. How are they still around? Dishonest and complete lack of deceny for other people's time. Stay away please and your welcome.
