ALL THE STARS!Our insurance company dropped our coverage because of some partial roof damage. We called around and got a few quotes and Michael was the only person that was honest and straight forward. Other companies told us we would need to pay a fee for them to pull a permit or re-roof the entire house and Michael straight up told me that due to the size of our job, a permit wasn't required by the city and that most of the roof was still in good shape! Seems like other companies we were in touch with were trying to take advantage!!I called Michael and he was able to go out and inspect our roof and give a quote in a timely manner. He kept me up to date via text about every step of the project and sent pictures to me so I could see everything.He was reliable, quick to respond, professional and friendly. When picking out materials for the project, he explained all the differences between the types of shingles in a way that was easily understood.I absolutely could not possibly give him and his company any less than 5 stars. Mike responded to my home following a wind storm that blew off large areas of shingles. My home, and my Well House (shed) were damaged. He researched and found matching shingles. It did take a few days to get the Shingles, and he made 3 trips to my home over the course of 2-weeks, but the job was solid, and the price was more than fair. I think he gave me the “brother-in-law price”. He later inspected a home (roof) that I was under contract to purchase. He saved me from making a big mistake. He didn’t want payment for his time, and I had to insist he take a few bucks; at least enough to cover his gas and lunch! Anyway, he’s an honest guy and does good work.

Michael was hired to replace the roof on a house I was buying. His quote was the most reasonable of the 3-4 I obtained, and the work done was exceptional. He and his crew worked hard and had great manners, were on time and finished when expected. Michael went above and beyond to spray paint the chimneys to match the new roof and look new again, and he came back months later to install a skylight that had been backordered and delayed because of the pandemic. Highly Recommended! We had several contractors out to quote a large, three roof residential job in Yucca Valley. Michael was clear and communicative throughout the bidding process, and was able to fit us into his busy schedule. He and his team were on time, courteous, and professional, and knocked out a seriously tough job at an impressive, steady pace. We had a somewhat abnormal roofing design plan, and they were able to accommodate our vision while maintaining the quality of finish. We also had a change of plans mid-job (to add two solar tunnels) and Michael was able to work that in as well. We had a great rapport with him, and would stay after a bit to chat about the overall renovation plans, our dogs, and the high desert. In a region where it can be sometimes difficult to get quality work done, Michael was a joy to work with. A sure bet!

Excellent work, professional, attention to detail, pride in work, great customer service and finished within 2 weeks. I had waited 2 months for another company to start the replacement and gave up, calling Mike Savage Constr. He was courteous, came out to give me an estimate immediately, gave me honest time frames, started as promised within a week and worked diligently to finish not only the installation, but other issues he found in the process. Not only was I happy with Mike, but with his hard -working team that not only kept my property clean and free of debris & nails, but were also very professional and courteous. Contacted Mike on a Friday afternoon when we had a rain storm, due to a leaking roof. Understandably, Mike couldn’t make it out until Sunday afternoon or Monday. No problem, he was cool and knowledgeable over the phone. Unfortunately, although he requested and obtained the address and pictures and confirmed via text that he’d arrive Monday morning, he never showed up. I called him, no answer. I waited until Wednesday and sent him a text asking if he could at least make it out by Friday. No response. Super unprofessional and disrespectful. Bummer.
