This will be long so please bear with me.I used HomeGuard Roofing through a contractor who is no longer with the company. The service at the time was incredible and the job completed was beyond satisfactory. It's a shame that contractor left, because my experience with this company has been beyond despicable ever since.I used HomeGuard to replace my roof after a hail storm. We have solar panels on our house and part of my contract with HomeGuard stated that they would pay for the cost of the removal and reinstall of the solar panels (about a $3,500 total cost). Over a year later, I get notice from a collections agency that I owe my solar panel company about $1,800. I do a little digging and discover that HomeGuard paid for the cost of the removal of the solar panels, but never paid for the cost of the reinstall.It took me more than 6 weeks after receiving this notice for me to finally reach someone at HomeGuard. That included calling multiple times on a weekly basis, several comments on the website, and multiple voicemails. When I finally reached someone (Stephanie), she sounded apologetic and asked me to provide a copy of my original contract and she would get that taken care of (it's anyone's guess why they didn't have this on file). Stephanie advised me to contact her directly concerning the issue from there on out. I sent her the contract within minutes of talking with her but didn't receive a response. I moved on assuming the issue had been resolved.Flash forward to about two months later when I get a notice that I have taken a hit to my credit due to this issue not being cleared with the collections agency. A little more digging and I confirm that the remaining balance was never paid even after Stephanie said she would take care of it. After another few weeks and multiple attempts at contacting Stephanie (again with no response), I threaten to post negative reviews and publicly advise no one to ever use this company. Surprise, surprise, Stephanie responds within a matter of minutes and asks me to send her an invoice for the remaining payment. I contact my solar panel company and get them to provide an invoice. Stephanie responds and says that the issue has been "elevated to management."That was over a month ago, and I just received another call from the collections agency that the balance STILL has not been paid and confirmed this with my solar panel company. I have contacted Stephanie (again) and have yet to receive a response. Since apparently HomeGuard will only respond to negativity, hopefully this review will help light a fire under their butts to resolve this.Let this be a lesson that if there are any issues in your experience with HomeGuard, they CANNOT be trusted to resolve them in a timely, professional manner. HomeGuard did a fantastic job on my new roof. They were extremely helpful and fair during the quotation process. Alex, our contact at HomeGuard, was very thorough and wasn't pushy at all. I recently had a very bad experience with another roofer in the Denver area, so his behavior was very refreshing. The crew did a very nice job on my roof, and finished in the projected timeframe. The entire process was made pretty painless. I'd definitely recommend this company to anyone needing a new roof.

HomeGuard came highly recommended to me by a family friend, as I was looking for someone to inspect my roof. I was purchasing a new home at the time and my home inspector only did a visual inspection from the ground. I called HomeGuard and was told they would be happy to come check things out for me. On the day of the inspection, several nice young men from HomeGuard came out to do the inspection. They were on time, courteous and professional. They got up on my roof, did a thorough inspection and reported back that all looked great! The fact that this did not result in a sale did not change the way I was treated. In fact, they genuinely seemed to care about my situation and even gave my husband some great tips on how to check for damage in the future. The best part is they did not charge me anything for the inspection! They said word of mouth referrals were the best compliment I could give them, so that is why it was important to me to write this review. I would highly recommend HomeGuard Restoration to anyone that needs a new roof, gutters, siding, paint or windows!

HomeGuard approached us to do a roof inspection to check for storm damage. I normally do not like to work with people who come to the door, but the HomeGuard rep, Brent, was very pleasant and not at all salesy. His assessment at the time was that we did not have any significant damage. I kept his card and called him just a few weeks later after a big hail storm. We did have damage then. They helped us navigate the insurance process and explained everything along the way. They did not require any payment until after the insurance claim was settled. The roof looks great, and the workmanship and service were exceptional. I would definitely recommend HomeGuard.

Homeguard is a great company. They tore down and replaced our hail damaged roof in late summer of 2017. Alex, was very informative and was always quick to respond to any correspondences. While the crew worked on our roof, they kept the area very neat and would clean up before they left each night. By far, the best roofers we have had in our experiences as homeowners.

I've had 4 roofs put on in my lifetime and the best experience I have had by far has been with HomeGuard Roofing & Restoration. Gary and Matt were a pleasure to work with. No high pressure sales (which is a deal breaker for me), friendly, courteous and honest. I was on the roof with Gary, and he pointed out specific areas where they went above a beyond to ensure that the roof wouldn't leak or stop birds from getting into this overhang, etc. No other roofing company has performed this kind of detailed work for me. Gary went out of his way, not only to be here while the work was being done, but he made a trip to Home Depot to get some parts that would enhance the work that was being performed. It was not something we had talked about previously, he just took it upon himself to run it by me and go the extra mile. Also, I have never seen a better cleanup. In fact, my next door neighbor needs a new roof, and I was over there yesterday recommending HomeGuard Roofing. If I ever need another roof, they will be the company I will use. I rarely write reviews, good or bad, but these guys are great.

They handled everything inspection , estimate , they met with the insurance co worked,out all the details. Even after they started the job and found more damage they called back the insurance co. Our experience with Homeguard and Joel Thomas, the project manager, was outstanding. From the initial presentation to working with our insurance company and the final completion of the new roof, all aspects were professional, thorough, and of excellent quality. Homeguard even upgraded the quality of our new shingles so that we could get a substantial discount on our insurance premiums. In addition, they found instances of sub-standard work by a previous roofing company and fixed all of those issues as well. The communication was excellent, both from the home office and the project manager. Highly recommended.

Zack took our claim and dealt with the insurance company. They fought it and HomeGuard took it all the way through mediation and final settlement. I would never do a claim any other way again. Initially when we filed they gave us 1500.00 for hail damage. HomeGuard got us a full roof. Once the claim completed they removed and installed the new roof in 2 days. They did all the clean up and I hardly knew they were there.Everyone from office staff to contractors were professional, courteous and just plain great!

We have had a number of roof issues over the last few years. And nothing is more stressful than water coming through your ceiling into your house. When it comes to choosing a repair company, anybody can fix a roof, competence really isn't the issue; character is. The guys at HomeGuard, from the owners to the guys on the roof were amazing! Our quote was accurate, the work was done in a timely manner, they cleaned up after themselves and EVEN worked around our 1 year olds nap schedule as to not wake him up. Truly a great experience. I hope I don't need to call a roofing company for a long time, but if I do, I know who I'll call. Thanks Danny!

HomeGuard was a pleasure to work with. We had some severe damage on our roof from the wind storms this winter. When they came out to assess the roof they showed me all of the damaged areas. We had a major snow storm approaching, the team at HomeGuard was able to help with a temporary solution to ensure no additional damage would occur. Then they were out the next week after the snow melted and repaired our roof. The team was very professional, thorough and communicated everything along the way. Stop looking for another roofing company! This is the company you want to do business with. Anthony was my project manager, he was timely, efficient and courteous throughout the entire process. He and his crew not only put a gorgeous new roof on my home, but installed gutter guards and a skylight as well. I was always kept in the loop as far as insurance and timeline, my job was finished in one day and looks absolutely AMAZING! They used technology to show us what we couldn't see for ourselves and sent a comprehensive bid with photos highlighting the problem area. HomeGuard Restoration completed a 3 building roofing project in downtown Denver for me. 80,900 square feet of roofing, including repair to 41 penthouse roofs. Replaced and repaired the substructure, corrected drainage and corrected flashing issues also.This is a great company, great team of guys in the field. The communication from this company is spot on. From owners to project managers to technicians, I knew where my project was. The paperwork and photos to document this project, they set up in a link so I could see it at anytime.I have used HomeGuard Restoration on 3 other roofing projects since then and all the project ran the same way, without any stress.
